Recently I’ve seen so many naturals going back to relaxers without even trying this on a regular basis. Your hair is so beautiful and thick. 😊
Yes, this is so much better than relaxing! Thanks so much!❤️
Manageability and the lack of single strand knots is the reason I heat style when the months allow. Besides my shrinkage is ri-di-cu-lous, and I don't have the best all over curl pattern. Once it's blown out or flat ironed I use pin curls or updos. I'm doing less to it heat styled than in natural styles.
New subbie! I agree with everything you said. Another pro is moisture retention. It’s harder for me to keep my hair moisturized when I wear it curly.
Thanks for watching and subscribing! Yes, me too my hair loses moisture quickly when it's curly.
This is interesting-
My first try on heat training my hair - was a miss. My hair was so dry. I had to deep condition for 30mins with heat after my shampoo, in order to get some moisture back in my hair.
Of course my hair frizzed up after one week.
I immediately went back to my familiar wash and go. My curls are more elongated- but still there thank god.
Does it get better with time ?
@@STP255id like to know too I only blow dried I was in another vid about heat styled naturals and someone mentioned it’s because the hair isn’t used to heat it will keep straighter over time. I’m hoping for a reply as as
Grab a satin lined rain cap from Hairbrella. It's worked for my 100% natural hair during blowout season..didn't Revert during a horrible rainstorm.
I love having my hair straight! I have to wash my hair more frequently than you do, due to having a scalp condition but I’ve seen a turn in health and length retention since wearing my hair straightened. I also wear vpart/upart that requires minimal leave out and I only flat iron the leave out on a very low temp setting. Don’t plan on ever turning back.
I agree! ❤️ I need to get one of those v part wigs they look so nice!
glad to hear you've seen an improvement in your scalp condition since starting to straighten. I'm having to consider this because my scalp is entirely out of control and I can't deal with it anymore.

Also, I want to alternate between this style and not use my curls. Any tips?
Great Video.
What oils do you use on your hair. And do you place them on the Scalp.
God-bless you 🙏🏽🌷💕🌷💕
Thanks! ❤️ I use the fenugreek oil a few days before I wash my hair on my scalp.
You are definitely my hair twin,my hair is heat trained and waist length, another con is people assume I'm wearing a wig or weave, lol especially when it's stretched.... but overall I love it ,my favorite style is when I put 4 braids or plaits in my hair at night, wrap it up and by the next day I have the beach wavy look,it looks cute and I don't have to put heat in my hair everyday. I've been dealing with dry itchy scalp lately, not due to lack of water intake bc that's all I drink all day, I do the oils sometimes for relief but it doesn't help, any suggestions?
