I’ve been watching RUclips videos to improve my painting skills for several years and have made good progress but this single video is a treasure trove. It’s like you somehow packed all the other hundreds of videos nice watched into one quick and simple to follow video. It’s amazing. Thank you for spending the time to put it all together. Just wow!! Sharing with friends now. I almost feel like I don’t want to though because now they’re going to not be as impressed with my painting. Ha ha.
@@apollowall1205 haha, thank you, it really means a lot to me when people appreciate it :) what you are describing is exactly what I am trying to do in each video

Firstly, a "Feathering in 5 mins" video would be awesome. I am new to the technique, but I have found it especially useful for small areas or sheltered ones that aren't in plain view. Also, your beard is growing with your subscriber count.
I love how you deconstruct some of these techniques like edge highlighting being just a controlled drybrushing. That really demystify the whole process by making it **your** way of doing things. It makes it more approachable and sells the idea that there's not ONE right way to paint miniatures. Does that make sense? Anyway, great video, as always, man!
This is a great video. My only "complaint" is that I'll need to watch it multiple times as I try to put the individual techniques into practice and refer back to it. Just an amazing amount of information densely packed into a short video. Thank you so much for doing this!
@@Zumikito ALL OF THEM! Lol! Parchment/paper, crystals, carbon fibre, scar tissues, ceramics/terracotta/brick. I think that's plenty for now. Otherwise your video will be an hour long :)

Love you Zumikito, cant wait to get back to painting, been a tough year and been seperated from my 40k army since before Christmas, I am going to soak up as much of your genius as I can and hopefully have a half decent army soon!

Thank you! Sure it can, but I would spray it with a primer before that :) otherwise I don't see it being that different (unless the wood soaks the paint which hopefully the primer will solve)

Concise quality content. Fast becoming one of my favourites. Print lines on the model are a bit big - is that a setting you're still tweaking or something common with 3d printing?
Thank you! That is 0.025 thickness so if you wanted to enter a competition, you could still print at 0.01 , but I didn't have time to run the printer for that long. Anyway, the print lines might seem big, since I am recording extreme close up - I invite you to look at the two platypus miniatures on my instagram since the print lines are pretty much indistinguishable from some distance

That is something I might do in future, I will add it to my lost of topics. However, I briefly describe the process in my "painting volumes" video - the one with red sister of battle, so you might wanna check that out

@@jkorcak8 that is correct, you can even take pictures from 4 sides and estimate reflections from all, but that is perhaps too complicated if you are not going for competition :)
