I also use oil - I use coconut oil on mine - don't need much, but it really shines it up! Thank you for this video! I am going to try this today! I got so many uncleaned sunnies and this is a great help. I also subscribed! :)
Hey thanks a lot for posting this. My mom gave me a batch of dirty seashells she got from a rock show and your method is really helping me clean them up and make them shine!
Thank you for the tutorial. It worked for most of my shells. However, I had to leave them in vinegar for a long time to get result. As a result I noticed some chemical discolouration.
At Campbell or barbers point beach park if you walk to the left a while you'll see a torn down house. when my grandma was young there would be a shell season where all the shells wash up.ALL CONES, Hebrews, marble cones, Hawaiian cones and so much. Down at Campbell that beach blessed my aunty with a 4 and a half inch long reticulated cowrie empty. She found 2 harp shells and striped bubble shells there recently. these days we see a few purple cones wash up. Plenty puka shells though. We simply walk in the shore line and bunches of cones are there. that beach is a great place. try it sometime.
WOW!!!!!! That one on the bottom , the pink rainbow green ... I scream ! That is the most amazing one EVER !!!!!!!
Dude this is awesome. I just found my first sunrise shell here in Maui today and I’m so excited to get it cleaned up. Thanks so much
This REALLY helps me out! I got over 300 uncleaned sunrise shells that I plan to make into puka necklaces for my website! Hope it works! Thanks brah!

Thank you for using eco-friendly products! Beautiful shells. And thank you for looking like you lead a happy life!
FYI mineral oil is a petroleum product, not quite eco friendly
can you make a video of how the shells look before you put them in vinegar?
I love shells alot
Comment below if you have a kind of oil that you like to apply to your shells to protect and give them shine. Hope you like the video. Aloha!
