How I turned an Opihi shell into a Opihi Pendant.

It was a lazy afternoon on the rocky shores of Leftovers beach on the North Shore of Oahu when my son, Koa, stumbled upon a honu resting in between the lava rocks. Koa was fascinated by the gentle creature. He watched it bask in the sun, as he stared at the rocks near its feet.
That's when he spotted the Opihi shell - a small, round shell with jagged edges. Koa was mesmerized by its unique shape and intricate markings.
