On this episode we feature James' 1986 Toyota AE86 Corolla. The car started its life as a bone stock rusted barn find and has since been wildly modified fitting a 2jz with a V160 6speed trans. the latest version of the car has been equipped with a built TH400, single turbo and 150 shot of nitrous! Unfortunately during some of the pulls trans fluid got on to the downpipe wrap and caught on fire :-(

I know that car! I shot it leaving cars and coffee just over a week ago before it caught fire. What a BEAST it is. It creeps up on you then all hell lets loose! Really glad to see it in the spot light on here. It deserves the screen time.

I’ve always have a fire extinguisher in my car for the past 18 year’s. Only had to use it once putting out my friends engine fire which saved the car. It’s a great investment.

Thank god it didn't go up in flame and completely demolished, Love the Ae86 because of watching an Initial D movie and anime series as a teenager.
I relocated from NYC to Tucson AZ 4yrs ago, i haven't had a good enough reason to check out Tucson dragway up until now, looking forward to seeing the TRC crew out here in September!!

Fire extinguishers for a good sized one are about $50 on Amazon. To spend thousands on these cars just to potentially watch them go up in flames on the side of the road is insane.

It's dope but something doesn't seem right. Maybe gearing.....final drive....idk maybe it's just me but that kind of power level in that car seems like it should move different. Maybe it's just so smooth, not a lot of drama so it's deceiving.

If you're only going to put a half cage in don't even bother. It's not going to protect you at all. Save your money, save weight.
Very painful to see high horsepower car owners dont equip themselves with fire extinguishers. My car is stock and i carry one. You never know either you will need it or someone you see on the road.
