    Ignore anyone who grumbles at affiliate links. There’s a lot of ignorance assuming that somehow it’s milking the system but the reality is very different, as you showed. Helpful to have the figures, and thanks for your honesty. Keep up the good work!

    Hi Chris, you’re doing a fantastic job mate. Doing I suspect what a lot of people would do but just can’t be bothered and just like to criticise rather than be constructive. For me personally I find all your posts very informative and extremely helpful to me.
    Thank you 👍

    What I like about TT:120 is the accurate proportions, the fact I can fit it in my home and cheaper prices. It may not be as big, but it certainly still stands out.

Mike did really amazing job on the TT120 layout, as he always does. Thanks again really enjoyed your channel and keeping ue all up to date. Here in Australia we are last to get our hands on the product.

    What a fabulous thing to have a TT layout with these lovely items running on it. I've got the 3 x 50s, Mk2Fs and a blue HST plus matching coaches on order, plus quite a lot more. Going to be an expensive year!

    Well done for addressing the negative comments in earning, it’s costs time and money to create content and as you say, unless you have a tens of thousands of subscribers you don’t make anything, maybe enough to buy a few pints!

    I got invited into Affiliate myself, I see it as a way to invest back into my channel for future items and therefore content for viewers.
    Dont sweat the nay-sayers, you will never please everyone. 🚂

      🤭yes I did consider removing the audio in that section, but them decided just to turn it down. I must say the lady he was having a go at did a great job of staying calm & professional.

    Thanks for the informative channel. If you make a few quid to pay for stuff to make it even more informative that if fine by me. Don't let the naysayers get you down.
    PS: I was thinking of pre-ordering HST in swallow livery + Mk3 coaches (mad for a late 50s early 60s layout but I think they look cool!), so if there is an affiliate link I'd be happy to use it.

    Well done, always enjoy your videos. If I was starting out I would go for TT 120, I think it’s the ideal scale. Unfortunately I have a lot of OO, so on my latest layout I’ve gone for the whole lot. TT on the 4th and 5th levels, trying to get a bit of forced perspective,dual gauge on the 3rd level, and OO on the bottom two levels. Surprisingly it turned out ok. There’s a few short videos on my channel, if you’d like to see for yourself. Not of your quality, just used my iPad to take them, just for fun. Atb .

    Hi Peachy, one small criticism 😮. The preamble was a bit Pink Floyd(ish). You were only coming through in waves, your lips move but I can't hear what you say... 😂 Or maybe it's my ears. 😊 Otherwise great video 👍

    • @PeachyTT120
      @PeachyTT120  9 месяцев назад

      It’s variable depending on various factors, the exact details you can find on the Hornby website under the affiliate program link.
      But basically it’s a just few % which takes approximately 3 months to become an approved payment to me.

    Hi Chris. So sorry you had that criticism. If you were ripping people off by charging exorbitant fees for the work, then maybe it would be justified; however, anyone watching your channel *should* be able to tell that you're not that sort of guy. Keep on truckin'.

    @damianinCanadaTT-OO Год назад +1

    I wouldn’t feel you need to answer every criticism you get. There are a lot of people out there who just want to bring people down. The complete opposite of what this hobby is about. I heard Simon (of Shed fame) say he was cutting back his plans because after the initial rush of viewers from the TT120 launch things have died down so no RUclips funding extra content

    • @PeachyTT120
      @PeachyTT120  Год назад

      Thanks Damian, how’s availability in Canada now? Has a shop chain or distributor been sorted or are you still having to order direct?

    • @damianinCanadaTT-OO
      @damianinCanadaTT-OO Год назад +1

      @@PeachyTT120 I ordered my last batch direct from Hornby before my club discount expired but since then I’ve direct ordered from DCC Concepts and Hattons. Their shipping charges were reasonable. We have one local model shop that stocks Peco TT120 because one of the staff has built a layout but that it is. Contrary to Hornby’s initial publicity TT120 is not very popular in North America

    • @PeachyTT120
      @PeachyTT120  Год назад

      @@damianinCanadaTT-OO that’s interesting information. I’d been under the impression that the North America market was a whole part of their plan.
