  • Johnny Kee shows how he plants, cultivates, harvests and processes purple hull peas, a variety handed down for decades in his family. We see an amazing pea hulling machine at a neighbors farm that makes short order of hulling the peas.

I love this so much, it reminds me of my Papa and helping him and hearing his stories. He went to be with the Lord 9 years ago, but I can still hear and see him telling me about his childhood on the farm.❤️

You need a remote mic so you can still record your subject, pick up their voice & stand back to better frame the subject & their actions.

Nice video Joe, I love watchingJohnny Kee he is so interring. But one complaint I have with this video is you need to adjust your camera, so much of this video is out of frame.
Maybe trying videoing a little further back and not so close I think will greatly improve the quality of your videos. Keep those videos coming!

Where to buy a pea sheller like this one?

That beats shelling by hand. I have shelled tons of peas by hand growing up on a farm. Wish we had one growing up
