We're getting back the platinum age of bullet time 3rd person shoot em ups with SPINE like my personal favorites Max Payne, Enter The Matrix, Total Overdose, Oni, True Crime Streets of LA, Jet Li Rise To Honor, 50cent Blood On The Sand, Stranglehold WET, CONTROL, My Friend Pedro and still many more to come in the indie market. Btw I think Nekki are a Greek studio located in Cyprus or around the Island. Hell I'm working on creating a hybrid of classic paramilitary Tom Clancy games like the original Rainbow Six n Ghost Recon games with ultra mature/violent anime I used watch back in the 90s like GOLGO-13 I'm even trying to somehow incorporate the cool ideas that should've been the next entry in the RBS series after Vegas 1&2: Patriots.
Caliber is awesome and Modern Warships very fun games to play on clients ❤

Western AAA game devs need to show some backbone and stop apologizing to those sensitive snowflake crybully weirdos or the consequences are going to be even more fatal.
To you Western AAA game devs reading this: Stop hiring activists, stop shaking hands with racist consultancy firms like SBI and stop going down this route.
And here one big problem its not developers who employ in AAA activists or consultants or whatever you prefer, its the suits. I am also apsolutely sure that no suit will read this and take it into account.

Nekki was behind the Shadow Fight games that were pretty much my childhood, so safe to say they have my support!
Equilibrium is an underrated gem of a dystopian film and the gun-fu abilities looked like something ripped out a Japanese anime and in a good way too, I mean if anyone hasn’t seen it go see it. The movie is a must see at least once in your lifetime and the game looks just as badass and its such a shame seeing CD Projekt Red go down the woke path especially after making Cyberpunk 2077, but we need to have more Cyberpunk alternatives

Love that Movie. Serves both as a societal warning and its hugely entertaining with its combat as well.
Mugen is slowly becoming one of my favorite game recommendation channels, first AIKODE and now SPINE. I'm always down to support good indies at this point than the Western AAA because at least 80% of its products has not been good for a long time. And as GG2 goes on, it is becoming more and more evident.

Yeah MugenLord' like BlueDrake42 another strong supporter of imagination fueled indie videogame projects that don't rip a crater sized whole in our wallets. I hope one day Drake n Mugen host a podcast like Heelves and YoungRippa.
I saw the original trailer on Gematsu a while back and the early development footage looks impressive, but I was not a fan of seeing the opponents attack the character one at a time instead of grouping up and attacking at once. After watching it over again, I'm really interested now. definitely adding to my whishlist.
Plus I 100% agree. Not every game has to be open world. Some games can work better with a more confined and linearity cause that can open to be more creative with that aspect.
I have Spine for a while on my Steam wishlist, looks really good. There is this indie game called Axiom of Maria which is a hack n slash also on a cyberpunk world and on Steam have positive reviews which reminds me to Spine in terms of atmosphere. Is pretty cheap, $10.00 for whoever might be interested.
Keep going with these videos, indie games deserves more visibility.

I watch your channel for game inspiration playthroughs for mine, and i am absolutely floored with how many amazing reccomendations you have placed in your videos. SPINE looks incredible, and I'm excited to see what indie gaming has to offer.
I've known about Nekki from their mobile games they've been making games since like 2013 or earlier, I'd say the Vector and Shadow fight series are their best games so far, so I'm really interested in seeing their first Console/PC release.

Dude! Equilibrium is an awesome movie! I don't usually like fighting games or shooters as much as others, but combining the two might be an awesome thing, especially with the cyberpunk setting. I definitely look forward to this game.

Wishlist it and thanks to you I discovered Runa and was able to support it on Kickstarter before it ended. I really love the Xenoblade inspired worlds and it's awesome they will have the vocalist that did Nier music.

This almost reminds me a little bit of the Enter the Matrix movie tie-in ps2 game. Some of my earliest gaming memories are playing that game. So this definitely looks like something interesting.

When it comes to Gun-fu I think “My Friend Pedro” falls into that category. It was a really fun indie that uses parkour and ricocheting bullets.
Time to boot up some mysterious jogos, theirs bound to be a hidden gem in there.

I'm wondering just how much control you'll have over the actual combat itself. Like is it combo based with finisher animations that you can really dig into and make your own like a DMC or Bayonetta type system. Or is it like Assassin's creed where it's just a single button press that plays contextual animations?
Your sound is really good. I hope its not inappropriate to ask you, but do you have any advice on how to make your vocals so clear when a bit of noise is in the background?
I want to do voice over work but everytime I hear any little noise that isn't intentional, I lose motivation even though I know I am made for this
For starters, what kind of mic are you using? If you are using Webcam mic then expect shitty sound quality, if not then you will need to control the GAIN on your mic. The higher the GAIN on your USB microphone, the more sensitive it is when it comes to picking up sound. That includes backgrouns noise, what you need to do is get a free audio software called Audacity and record through it.
When you hit record in audacity dont speak into the mic for the first 5 seconds. You want the mic to pick up the noise in the room. After the five seconds start speaking into the mic like you normally would. After recording is complete, go to "noise reduction" feature after highlighting the 5 seconds of silence during your recording. The program will get a profile of the noise and then highlight your entire audio recording and then apply the noise reduction and it will eliminate the noise.

As far as gun-fu the only games i can think of in recent years that fit that genra is Wanted Dead and to a lesser degree Midnight Fight Express. 👍🏿👍🏿

Valiant Ascenders, it is my comic book universe "AVENGERS" type of team. Each character has their own comic series and will eventually team up at some point.

@@thedragonerebus2974Generally speaking indie game developers love a lot what they are doing. It's pretty impressive what a bunch of nerds with very limited resources manage to achieve. That's pretty much how Doom was created, just a bunch of friends getting together to create cool stuff.

also yeah i am tired of open world stuff, its a giant empty plane with checklist collectable stuff to do, i prefer the hub maps style instead of open world.
Games like this is why I'm thinking PC might be the way to go as these games constantly skip Consoles. hoping that Steam on Xbox rumor turns out to be true.

I don't know man. Animation is the alleged gameplay footage looks stiff as hell.. Guns lack any heft, and I'm not sold on the art direction. I'm always open to being pleasantly surprised, but I'll wait for the finished product, before this sees a penny from me.
i was interested when i saw the the game for the first time but the fact it controls like a ps2 game with target lock and enemies are bulletspongies and you cant headshot them, killed it for me, id rather be it like max payne instead.
