I wondered since I heard that song and I didn't get it when that song when and at winter why they said they wanted to live abandon now I know good song you guys god bless my brothers and sisters out there believing Christ
I love the news boys and there also the only band my brother looks up to because he loves the lead singer and sometimes I wish I could invite him over so he can make my brother more of a godly man because he's 19 and he's got to know he's got to be the man of the house when he's a dad and I want him to take his kids to church and his wife.
I think that when they say abandon, like abandon their physical possessions and pleasures of the material world. But yeah gave me a startle at first because Abaddon is the angel of the bottomless pit, the proverbial antichrist. And yes that name means abandon as well. Hope these guys are really serious about Jesus and won't be fooled by a false messiah, Abaddon.
And what is the name of the angel in Greek that guards the bottomless pit? Apollyon right? And in Hebrew??? ABADDON... WEIRD choice for a song guys... Avoid the appearance of evil like John Lennon singing Hari Krishna instead of saying Hallelujah..... Come on guys, love ya!
