Thank-you so much for sharing this! I also wrote out my notes for UWorld while preparing for Step 1. I was about to start doing the same thing as I start my Step 2 CK prep---you just prevented me from taking the wrong turn at a very crucial juncture. God bless you
I finally implemented this roughly 6 weeks ago and my scores finally started going up again! thanks so much for sharing!!
This is literally exactly what I've been looking for! Thank you very much, this was very instructive.
Thank you so much for sharing this information and your experience. I will definitely put it into practice.
Excellent video!!! Super informative and in-depth, it was just what I was looking for! I've kept flipping back and forth between anki (although I'm not exactly a flashcard person) and writing things down b/c I havent had a good structured method of memorizing things, esp/ly when reviewing Q banks.
This is incredibly helpful. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you very much for the help! Such a genuine way to help people!
Thank you so much! I am glad I saw your video before going into more Qs!
Wow this is great! Getting ready for the mcat, gonna apply this to my study routine. Thank you!!
thanks for sharing!! i do similar things but the way you review the notes is something i def need to try
Thank you for taking your time to share your study tips ♥️
This saved my life! Thanks for sharing!
BEST VIDEO EVER!! Thanks for the pro-tips.
Thank you so much! I'm not a flashcard person but this is a great active way to revise and test information!!!
This is very helpful. Thanks so much!
Very good I actually do this SAME exact method but I just write mines out!!! And it’s the best method especially the spaced retention on my notes!!!
Yes!! I'm glad you've got a good thing going with it!
Thank you for sharing this video! It was really helpful. I got tired of making notes from UWORLD because I felt everything mentioned was important and I wasn't comfortable with ANKI. And after going through a lot of vidoes on "how to make notes" (none of which were helpful to me; i landed in this video and it has been really effective.
I will try this! Thanks for sharing
Awesome job, I'm doing exactly the same and it works.
thank youuuu soo muchhhh, thats exacctlyyy what ive searchinggg forrr. Youu are amaziinggggggg
Thank you so much for an amazing video !!!
Thank you for this great video! :)
Thanks for this! Very helpful.
That was helpful.
thank you Dr. Miller.
Thank you for creating this video and sharing your advice! I think I'm going to try this out! :,)
I loved this video! Thank u so much.
Thank you! Great strategy!!!!
Omg this is SO helpful, thank you so much!! I'm using UWorld to study for the NCLEX and have been kinda lost on how to study more effectively. I typed out all my notes in nursing school, but started writing them out while studying UWorld. That was a pretty dumb decision considering writing takes forever and there's so many questions to get through. I'm definitely going to back to typing. So much quicker, like you said, and it's much easier to scroll through 20 pages than go through a stack of papers. Restudying notes multiple times will also be easier this way. Thanks again!
Happy that it helped, I hope you continue to have successful studies :)
This is extremely helpful, not only for UWorld but really any medical multiple choice question. Thank you!!!
Thanks for watching :)
Hey guys I am just so overwhelmed I finally passed 🥰my NCLEX after failing 2 times but thanks to my friend who recommended me to Mr. Donald Wills who provided me with audios and answers papers. I thought this wasn't real not until I approach the exams, I tried Uworld, Kaplan, and many methods but failed two times but thank GOD today am a proud nurse , to all those who are still struggling to clear thier NCLEX also never give up see in your self and give a try to any opportunity you got I will recommend anyone who needs the same help I got by dropping Mr. Donald Wills number I wish you all goodluck.

Great tips! Thank you!
You are such a life saver!
Great Advice. I do something very similar, but I've found dictating my notes in a program like OneNote, or notepad, I can export them to excel and then separate them into columns using the text to columns function and import them directly into anki as flash cards.
HOW DO YOU DO THIS.... I NEED TO KNOW. I'm so technologically challenged.
@@daviskalli8107 Put the note into one note (dictation how to here:ruclips.net/video/_-2ro377Nr0/видео.html), or delineate with a question mark or a unique character. Then copy paste into excel. Use this character and do text to column: ruclips.net/video/xYsCjlzjesQ/видео.html to learn text-->column. Good Luck!
You are a star... Thank you so much
2 questions: 1) how do you keep track of what you've studied and when? Like do you attach a date to each set of notes you take? 2) About how long does it take you to review a 40 Q block w/ this style of review? I like it b/c it seems more active than just reading the Qs, but it also seems super time consuming, particularly during dedicated
Thanks for sharing, I just started dedicated and finding how to take notes for UWorld was overwhelming. This is so much easier! Thanks!
Glad it helped!

this is awesome thank you
I write and record myself explaining the question super different but it's getting better
OUTSTANDING!!!
This was so helpful! I attempted to study for USMLE many years ago but my scores were just never okay and I struggled. New subscriber.

Thanks for the video!!!
KILLING IT with the study tips!!!! Why did I not find someone like you when I was in Med School!!!
thanks you for this information
Hi! Congratulations for the video, of all the ones I saw it was the most informative and enlightening! I just want to ask if at the beginning you asked the questions of all the themes or did you focus on questions by themes? Thanks
EXCELLENT THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
great! wish i found this before taking my boards..
Very great video!!!
Very helpful 🙏🏼
Great advices thank you
No prob, happy to help
What do you think about doing this but in the flash card section of unworld instead?
Thank you so much
This is a really old video in terms of maybe hearing back, but when you write, say, starting fresh, how do you keep track of what you did yesterday, in a document that keeps getting bigger, and then how do you find it a week later?
Hi, what package did you purchase on UWorld? Let's say if I sat the exam in June, what package would you recommend to purchase? I'm trying not to pay so much but at the same time I want to make sure to have enough time to study.
Thank you!
Hello, were you using uworld as your main study resource or mainly to be comfortable with answering questions leading up to your NCLEX exam?
Please share your notes
So it's same day, next day, 5-7 days after and then?
Lovely one
thank you!
Hi Doc , do you note your points in a separate document or incorporate those in your notes itself?
How long did it take you to review everything for that day?
Thus is really good
Thank you!!
You're welcome!
Thanks for this! It is incredibly helpful. This was like Lecturio's Qbank walkthrough videos. They are just going through the common cases instead.
No prob I'm so glad it helped
I used to do this but it took soooo long, so I ended up just giving up towards the end. How do u do this and finish in a 4-8wk dedicated period? Did u have a really long time to prep?
Thanks a million. This is so so helpful
No prob you are very welcome
Thank you
Do you offer tutoring for usmle atep 1
Thanks a lot for your tips! I’ll start writing my notes on a Word document because I feel like hand writing it’s taking me forever!! (Even though I know it helps for retention)
The video is very useful and will definitely implement. But can you make us a video answering the questions on the comment section?
Do you recommend writing for those of us who type slowly? I find that I retain more when I write, but it is time-consuming.
Please what is the function of the control F? Thank you.
control F allows you to find a word quickly (easy to find info you wanna review notes). you just hold down the command key then hit the letter F
Really good tips. I have been watching you for sometime now (not to sound creepy). I leave for the island in January, and your tips on studying from day one along with the resources you listed are very valuable. I wanted to ask, what school did you attend? I will be leaving for AUA.
Glad to hear it! I attend SJSM :)
I came across this video and your comment stood out to me! I also attend AUA, that is awesome. Such a small world! :)
thank you dear :)
It was a really good transforming tip for me really 😍 i'm almost done doing obgyn 💞
Thank you for this! Just a quick question- you did the repetition study for all 464 pages??? How long did you study before you took the boards?
I think you have a good point, this way even if it is effective it is very slow. if you have a 1000 questions and you are doing even 80 questions a day which is not easy if you are in residency but It will be very slow.

the best way is to read the hall explanation and add the educational objective on the new feature of the UWROLD Flash card and to spaced repetition and that's it and do this over and over till your exam
I have a question for you regarding Uworld. Since answering the questions alongside studying and making notes can be very time consuming, would you personally suggest just using the “Educational Objective” at the bottom as your main focus (as you show in this video) while of course you read the whole rationale/explanation. I have already made a very lengthy study guide and it’s only getting more comprehensive. Please suggest
Hey! I think that's a good place to start for sure. You can get into more of the details on your second pass at UW :)
Hi!!!! Could you possible share the word notes that you´ve made?
I would appreciate ir a lot!
Thanks in advance!
1. How do you keep track of what day you studied which topics?
2. When you studied the qbank, did you only study cardio one day then another System the next?
Hey!
1) Easy, every qbank test in UW is timestamped with the day you took it. Or, each day you take notes from your qbank you can use a post-it or half a sheet of paper to write the date, and just make a bullet point list of the topics you covered (eg. Migrain, tension headache, hypertensive emergency, etc.) for easy reference.
2) Depended. When I started studying for Step 1 & CK I went system by system. After I made it through almost a full pass at UW then I started just doing mixed Qs
If I'm a few weeks out but haven't made these notes... is now a good time to invest on these notes? Or should I just go over the uw Educational objectives 2 3 times?
Please a quick reply would be very generous.
Hey! I think no matter where you're at it's a good idea because it's a method that will help you retain a ton of information. However it is time consuming so you just need to figure out what feels best for you in your circumstances.
I explain my incorrects to a friend everyday or add this to a list. This I s active recall
I cant even reed
But how to choose what’s important in the question? Sometimes there is way too much info in answer explanation which can’t be found in FA or PATHOMA?
If it's not in FA or Pathoma that's what I focus on most! Those details are always the ones that show up on NBMEs and boards. It's hard to decide what's most valuable, but I think the first paragraph, and then the educational objective at the bottom generally have the most high yield info. The other stuff should be read in order to understand overarching concepts, but I don't always make detailed notes about them. When it was early on in my education, I would do less questions (like 10-20), I make more extensive notes because I was really trying to internalize the material. But when I was close to step 1 on my second pass at UW doing 40Qs or 80Qs per day, I kept a narrow focus because I'd seen it all before. Hope that helps!
I Got it thnks for quick reply
Would u read other answer choices besides migraine for example?or u read but don’t make notes?
I read the whole explanation. I try to keep my notes for each topic capped off at 3 lines. If there's another topic that I'm weak on, eg. SAH, then I make a separate note for that topic and review both. I don't write notes on every topic the description goes over, because I know that I'll likely come across a UW question dedicated to that topic specifically down the line. I'd say most important: focus on the problem the question is directly addressing AND learn why the answer you chose is incorrect. If you're on your second pass at UW and are a few weeks out, then you can be nitpicky and spend the extra time reviewing and annotating each disease outlined in A, B, C, D, and E.
@@Medumentary than you for detailed explanation.Your strategy sounds great. There is one more question if you let me ask:how do you review tables and algorithms in uw?Ck is known for extensive ones unfortunately.Thank you for the video!
@@FG-ng1cy There is a way to save the diagrams to a flashcard on UW now, so I do that. I then study the diagrams the same way I study my word doc. Look at the table, look away and try to recall as much as I can, look back and see what I missed, repeat, etc.
I make a master sheet for everything
Do you read the 143 pages everyday? Or just certain areas? I’m studying for NCLEX and it’s overwhelming! I also have UWORLD
What are you studying for the NCLEX RN
Lol NO!!! I only read the notes for what I covered during that day, the day before, and 5-7days ago. Sorry for the late reply, I hope it went well!
give us your step 1 notebook pdf
do a service. thanks
Hi! This was really helpful can you upload your personalized reviewer on google docs? It would be a big help 😊

hey what school in the caribbean did you/are you attending?
Judging by her past videos and comments I'm certain she's attending St. James School of Medicine in St. Vincent. She seems oddly vague about where she attends though.
@@DarkWater4Eva is right - I go to SJSM :)
I am not a fast typer. Do you still recommend typing my notes? I am not fast writer either! :)
If you're slow at both I'd still recommend typing into a word doc because then you have the benefit of CTRL F!
Do you have an ig?
Yup! @medumentary
Omg I beat you here
Thank you so much it is very helpful. May I contact you? I really need som orientation for my steps and I would appreciate it.🙏🏻
