Feeling so defeated:(i studied hard all week, stayed up until 4 am. Woke up at 7 and worked until 4. Created a practice test with. Did it. Checked my answers. Went back and analyzed what i did wrong. All for Nclex :(i think that i was just so tired by the end of it all that i just wanted to be done. I'm hopeful that i can bounce back but right now I just feel like crying 😢 😭💔💔🤕😓😔💔💔😓
Frustration is a very positive sign. It means that the solution to your problem is within range, but what you're currently doing isn't working, and you need to change your approach in order to achieve your goal.
First off THANK YOU!!! Your video was so helpful, I made a comment months ago on this video and downloaded your calendar. I followed your advice after failing twice at 145 questions. I did the uworld and didn’t get to finish all the questions but did 80% and got overall 56%. I did my second post assessment and got a low chance of passing lol I actually did worse than my pre assessment test but I knew I was doing better bc towards the end of my question bank I was getting much higher results. Anyway, I just did my exam yesterday and still went up to 145 questions but this time I did the pvt trick and got the good pop up! Wow I was shocked and all I did was praise God!!! Anyone who is struggling like I have even for the past year, take the advice given in this video and pray to God!! It’s only by Gods grace, I’m still waiting for the official results but I have to give God the glory, I know it’s bc He is with me I passed this time. To all my repeat test takers, do the work and have faith in God!
hi! your video was the first i watched out of all the nclex videos i searched. i kept your study plan in mind and did some of the same things you did. well, it helped because i miraculously passed in 75 questions last week! :)
Ma’am! When I say you have helped me so much, I don’t think you’ll ever understand lol. I watched your video about three times a week and based my whole study plan on what you did and boy did it pay off! Your suggestion for listening to Mark Klimek for the last couple of weeks really helped me because by that time my brain was fried from all of the UWORLD questions. I just took my test yesterday and found out today that I passed! I want to thank you so much for sharing your experience and resources with us! 😁
Thank you very much. I love to listen to Mark Klimek and it is easy to understand him. May God continue to bless Mark klimek and every one else whose helping the students 🙏
Congrats on passing! Hearing that you only scored 40-70% most of the time made me feel better. I’m usually getting 50-70, with the occasionally 40 and 80. But since you passed on your first try with the minimum number of questions, I think I can too.
But also don’t stress on the test if you get more than 60 questions. What matters is that you pass it. Mark klimek talks about going in and expecting to answer the full 130 questions so that you’re prepared mentally and won’t get discouraged if that does happen
Klarisse You’re completely correct! I took my exam today and was begging for the computer to give me more questions when I reached 60. It shut off at 60. I got the good pop up so now I’m just waiting. I wouldn’t have minded going all the way to 130 because it would give me more chances to prove that I can be a competent nurse. I was lucky enough to pass in 60 (or so it seems) though.
I took my PN EXAM April 12,2022. I Pass WITH 109 questions. Don’t be scared. Be positive and if you are a believer just live everything in God hands after your studies, Don’t lean to your own understanding you will fail. The importance is to pass and not the numbers of questions. I used UWORD and Mark klimek only to study. When I finished my exam my spirit was calm and I had that inside peace. You should have a plan for study and time to relax. NCLEX is just straight forward. Proverbs 3:5. April 13,2022 UPDATE!!!!! I went to Virginia board of nursing and I PASS. So since yesterday I didn’t check or use the trick for checking result. I just have faith by posting without knowing my result and trust GOD IN THE PROCESS. Glory to him.🙏🙏

Im getting average 56-58% on my assessment, but I am trying to score at least in the high 60s I will continue to work on my weak areas. This video was very helpful thank you.
Hi. I'm 51 y/o mom, former nursing instructor for 15 years. I admire your courage, perseverance, & young blood all-in-1. I watched your videos together with my daughter who studies nursing too. I've few questions regarding entering in navy (for my daughter) and about NCLEX prep (for me). Hope you find time at your convenience. Thanks again.
Thank you for sharing your experience! This was very helpful! Congratulations on passing your NCLEX. I will attempt to take the NCLEX the 3rd time hoping and praying I will pass this time.

This was so helpful, thank you so much for sharing your study tips and experience. Just watching and listening helped calm my nerves about testing. I'll be taking the NCLEX in July this year. Hope your nursing career has been fulfilling since passing the NCLEX!
Thank you for this! I take the nclex next month and I have 6 weeks to study, and I’m only using UWorld. I’m very anxious and nervous but this video put me at ease. Hopefully I’ll pass my first try
Hi Klarisse! Thank you for sharing your beautiful video! Congratulations! 🎊. By the way, i have a book from Saunders 6th edition (not the latest) and starting to read it. My preparation is 1 month only. But planning to buy Uworld. What is your advice? Thank you very much.
You can use it to supplement your UWorld review. Some of my friends who used Saunders just used it to clarify things that weren’t covered much by the UWorld rationales. It’s a really thick book so don’t feel like you have to read it cover to cover, otherwise it’ll take up so much of your time. You also don’t want to read so much but not retain the info, which is why practice questions are great because it keeps you actively engaged. Good luck!
Thank you so much for this video, I am using uworld and sort of changed my studying to just questions for the subjects I feel comfortable. I bought the saunders book thinking I could read it all and do questions but we don't live in a perfect world lmao and I get burnout really quick from reading. So I just read for my weakest subjects! But now I feel a little less anxious about not reading the whole thing :)
Thank you for the video! Really helpful I loved your calendar I actually copied it and made my own. I'm using Uworld as well. I got the package with 1 assessment instead of 2. So I'm nervous to take that one! but I'll take it once I'm done studying everything..
Virtual classes during the pandemic has helped me focus while on the computer, which I am so grateful for. 😅😅Stamina is what I’m really struggling with and learned that 25-50 questions at a time, then break for 5-10 mins.
thanks to this video i can manage my time now answering uworld.. and reviewing content the same time.. my only problem is how can i retain more info :(
Repetition is key! Doing lots of questions will help you remember more than you think you know, just like how you get asked about the same topics over and over again in different ways in UWorld. Good luck!
Thanks for the video Klarisse! You’re awesome! Congrats on passing! Your tips were very helpful! I thought I was doing really bad on Uworld cause I was scoring in the 50’s but everything you’ve said has given me confidence! I have a question, did you only focus on Mark Klimek's audio notes or the other links too? And should I follow "Mark Klimek's Lectures" pdf or "Mark Klimek's Notes" pdf?
Thanks Helena! I mainly used the “mark klimek notes” because it was colorful but later realized it was missing some info, so I had to use the “mark klimek lectures” for some parts. I’m not sure but maybe the “mark klimek lectures” is more complete. I also opened the blue and yellow book but felt like I didn’t need to use those. Good luck with your test 😊
Have you tried to get your NCLEX and failed before ❓❓, I failed 5 times too but finally got help if you need help be it RN or LPN just PV me and 100% sure to get a solution. I only did UWorld questions and listened to Mark Klimek. I made sure to read every rationale from Uworld and they were enough for me to review content! I didn’t read Saunders at all.
Good info, thank you. I like your tip about not telling people the date if it causes pressure. It would have helped me if I had done that throughout nursing school.
Hi Klarisse, thank you so much for this helpful video! Question - does nclex let you know at what number of questions the exam ends if you pass? I don't want to be looking at the number of questions during the exam as it increases my anxiety :/
It is completely random. There's no "magic number" to let you know if you passed or not. The computer will shut off once it determines whether or not you will be a "safe" nurse. Many of my classmates passed in 60 questions, but some also had 61, 85, or even 100+. The computer will shut off at random so best to go in expecting to get the max number of questions so that you don't feel discouraged when it continues past 60. Good luck!
I paid for 2 assessments! Some of my classmates only paid for 1 assessment and they took it after reviewing with UWorld, shortly before their NCLEX, to see what they should focus on during their last review days.
Hi! For your study guide schedule, on your first you did a preassesment+100 questions and a review? Could you explain the review and questions you did after your preassessment that day?
Hi Klarisse, A week before the test date, do you recommend doing untutor mode test to stimulate the actual exam? Or its better to stay on tutor mode for better retention? Does the actual nclex test, also has highlighted words in their questions like in uworld (e.i "further education" or "appropriate interventions") If your scheduled test time is at 1pm, does it really start by that time? How many hours did you invest per day? Thank you.
Hi! I always used tutor mode because I like to know what I missed/got right and read the rationales. I feel like for me I retain it better that way. Also, I don't think they highlight words on the NCLEX, so just make sure to read every word so that you clearly know what they're asking you. And yes the scheduled time is really on time, so it's best to get there early. Show up early so you don't cause additional stress to yourself like worrying about whether or not you'll get there on time. And it depends; there were days I didn't study at all or just did the bare minimum for about an hour, but I usually spent maybe a couple hours in the morning, break, then afternoon, break, then nighttime. Keep in mind I was usually distracted so I can't put into an exact number of hours how much I actually studied lol.
The link is in the description box and yes spam/porn will pop up on the coldclutches website but just close them and click whatever audio you wanna listen to and it should work. It’s best to just download everything at once so you don’t have to keep coming back to that website!
I studied from July 24 until Aug 5. My test was Aug 6. I was also working 5 hours everyday, Monday to Friday. I think that gave me enough time to study considering I really was over studying after 4 weeks. There were days here and there where I absolutely didn’t study at all lol.
Hello . I signed up for u world i didnot apply for authorization to test what do u advice me Study mark klimek at am and then do u world at pm . I did put 6 weeks for studying i will start today what do u advice.iam applying to board in illinios.
I think your plan of 6 weeks with Klimek in the morning then UWorld in the evening is good! Just make sure to adjust your studying based on the results you're getting from the Uworld quizzes. The rationales are a lot to read so if you feel like your brain is fried by the time you get to it in the evening, switch it up. Also make sure to take breaks! 6 hours should be good as long as those hours are actually you focused and understanding+absorbing what you're reviewing.
It’s linked in the description box! Click the coldclutches website. Just close the weird pop ups and you should be able to download it. It’s in alphabetical order :)
Klarisse thank you so much!! And another question...would you say his review gives you a good idea on what to expect on the test itself..I’m just having crazy anxiety that I will get content that I just don’t know!!
I found it the NCLEX to be.... strange? There were questions that I was like wow this is so easy which made me think I was failing lol. But the prioritization questions I got were harder than UWorld in my opinion. I felt like on UWorld it’s easier to tell apart which patient is more acute. UWorld also gives more details whereas NCLEX questions are short and not as detailed, so if you don’t know the disease you’re in trouble lol. I had questions about diseases/meds that I wasn’t too familiar with so I’m pretty sure I missed those questions. But during the test just focus on answering! Most of my classmates and I felt like we failed haha but I guess it’s because the test supposedly gives harder questions the more you get right :)
Please I am a registered nurse in Africa. I want to apply for a masters nursing program in USA or Canada. I want to know whether I can sit up for NCLEX during or after graduation?
I can’t say how many questions exactly .... but how it helped me was his tips for prioritization and answering questions when I had no clue which to pick (e.g. diet questions). One of my main concerns before the NCLEX was how I’d remember the different lab values and differentiate what happens with each abnormal value and Klimek made that easy as pie even though those did not show up on my test lol. I still appreciate that because being able to have an easy trick to remember those allowed me to study other things.
Hey clarrise??? So you dont recommend the saunders book? Although you did not mention it in the video.. I see you put an X over it on your Video image? LoL. I plan to use saunders along with UWORLD.
I just made flashcards on uworld! There’s an option to do that. I tried to write it out but thought it was too time consuming and I would rather get to all the questions than be writing things down.
I am a junior nursing student but I already feel uncomfident in my second semester and want to be proactive. Do you think UWorld helps even though I haven't learned everything yet? Does it break it down by classes so I could study oharm and med surge and patho but not have to study maternity yet since I haven't taken that course. I have the Saunders book now.
Yes I think UWorld definitely helps because of the rationale going over everything. And as I showed in the video, you can select what subject you want to study so that is definitely an option if you wanna start using it now. It's just expensive!
Thank you for the informative info. I'll be taking the nclex and it's nerve wrecking. All the thing we have learned during the 4years. It will be evaluated in a 60-130 question which is insane and crazy. Do you have any tips for sata? How many sata question you received? Congratss by the way. Looking forward for more of your videos.
Yes it definitely is crazy to think that your license depends on just one test. But think about how much you learned in the past 4 years, and how you must’ve been doing well in all your previous tests to have made it to graduation. This is just the last roadblock you have to get through and you will pass because you have no other choice! For SATA, Mark Klimek gave the advice to NOT pick an option you’re not sure is right. Just keep in mind that it is possible for all choices to be right, so don’t take off an answer just because you think everything is correct. I like to go thru each option and think of it as a true or false question, to lessen the pressure of doing SATA. I had 10 SATA on my exam. Good luck 🍀
When you say you did for example adult and the pharm questions that went along with it, were you checking off the adult box as well as the pharm box and then making a test of 100 Qs? Thank you!
Thank you for the tips! And especially the tips on believing in yourself and being okay with whatever the outcome is because truly - it is just a test and we have been preparing for it for YEARS! We can do it!
Have you been struggling with NCLEX be it LPN or RN, have you taken the exam for more than once? Are you taking it for the first time? Do you have a too busy schedule to study? Get to Dr Needham for your NCLEX assistance. I’m so happy I finally passed my exams thanks to him. He’s got a magical qbank which will help you become a RN.
Hi Therence! I just downloaded the notes on coldclutches (link in description box) and highlighted it. I don’t have it anymore because I deleted my Mark Klimek NCLEX notes/audios off my google drive. Also I think it’s best if you add your own notes to the document yourself for active learning!
Hi! I just graduated from nursing school this past December and I ready to start studying for the NCLEX. I just wanted to know did you schedule your test date before you purchased Uworld.
I paid for Uworld during the start of my last semester because they offered my class a discount if a lot of us buy it at the same time. I didn't start using it until i scheduled my test though.
This is an amazing video! I have 28 days to go before my date. I will be doing 75 to 100 questions a day with some notes. I was using ATI (provided by my school) but my gut and everyone's reviews prompted me to purchase the 30day package today. Thanks for the overview now I now how I'm going to do it.
Hello I advise you to contact Dr Luther if you are preparing for your nclex be it RN or PN. He is the reason I and my husband are very happy today working as Rns.
Hi Klarisse, For how long did you use uworld? And how many hours/day did you invest (to study)? I graduated in 2008 and thinking of taking a part time (job) for two months then use uworld.
Hi! I used it for a about 6 weeks from end of June to first week of August. And the hours per day varied but it took me long to get through questions just because I take breaks often and I also review them/take notes before doing additional questions. I never did time myself but 100 questions take me the entire afternoon until evening because I'd break it down to 25 questions, take the quiz, read the rationale, take notes, before moving onto another set of 25 questions. Good luck!
How did you split pharm with other categories, for example maternity and pharm? I saw you selected maternity and then antepartum, but how did you add pharm to this? Thank you!
I didn't use anything aside from UWorld rationales, Mark Klimek lecture notes and just watching videos on RUclips. Reading a textbook to me felt like it's too much info so I never did use my Saunders review book.
My class had a discount deal with them because a lot of us bought the NCLEX-RN Uworld. I'm not exactly sure how much I paid for but it was for 6 months!
Hi! There is no designated pre or post assessment. I just bought two self-assessments and used one of them as a "pre-assessment" and the other one as a "post-assessment."
Yes check the description box for the link to Mark Klimek’s lecture notes. It’s on the cold clutches website. When you click the link, spam (porn) will pop up but just close it and click again and it should show up with no issues. You’ll be able to download it!
Hello have you hard of Mr James he's an expert who help with some question and answers which you will study and will be ask on your exam day i will advice you to reach him now for more information
Hi! You can google it to get a detailed description but I basically tried to pay and schedule myself again for the NCLEX after taking the exam. They say that if it doesn’t let you reschedule that means you passed!
Ma'am, thank you for sharing your experience. Can you give me tips on how I would prepare nclex,on my case,I did not practice nursing profession eversince I graduated in 2005. Thanks
After you take the NCLEX and wait a few hours, you can try to schedule another NCLEX date. If it lets you pay, then supposedly it means you failed. If it doesn't and it shows you the "good pop-up," you passed. This is a trick so I'm not sure if it actually is 100% accurate but it worked for me and my classmates!
I'm taking my NCLEX tomorrow. I already rescheduled my test unfortunately because I was so scared. No one knows that I'm taking it tomorrow except for my boss (I'm hired. I just need to pass my boards) Hopefully I do well. If not, I hope I don't k myself.

The Nclex are very difficult and frustrating to pass, I've always believed Nclex is not all about studying, you need God's grace to pass
People keep talking about Richard all over RUclips, he must be a very awesome help.
@Yes you're correct but remember heaven helps those who help themselves, try studying if you can't study then get yourself a good help.

I failed it my first try. So those who failed the first time, don’t lose hope. Passed with 75 questions my second time. ❤️
What did you do differently the second time? What made it better? I failed my first time 😔
what did you use or do 2nd time around?
This Was Very Helpful! Thank you. I’m Halfway through my Review and Hopefully I’ll Pass it in one take :)
Good review thanks for sharing
Thank you so much for this video, I am using uworld and sort of changed my studying to just questions for the subjects I feel comfortable. I bought the saunders book thinking I could read it all and do questions but we don't live in a perfect world lmao and I get burnout really quick from reading. So I just read for my weakest subjects! But now I feel a little less anxious about not reading the whole thing :)
thank you so much sweetheart. You have helped me in planning on how to study for my licences exam. thanks💖
Good luck!
You’re awesome thank you ❤️❤️

The NCLEX solutions guide by Mr Charles Foden is the key to success in the NCLEX exams. I studied Uworld and Kaplan and Rachel. But none was as helpful in passing the NCLEX exams. I will recommend anyone to Mr Charles Foden who needs to pass the NCLEX. I passed with 75 questions after failing 5 times. I did it so can you. Congrats.. Be also taking NCLEX. Thanks you so much. Did you just answer questions and rationale? What were your study materials?
I only did UWorld questions and listened to Mark Klimek. I made sure to read every rationale from Uworld and they were enough for me to review content! I didn’t read Saunders at all.

Good luck!
@@Klarissedoeslife I did it !!! Thank you so much for making this video & the response and best of luck to your career !!
Thanks for this video! How did you find the pre-assessment on UWorld?
I paid for 2 assessments! Some of my classmates only paid for 1 assessment and they took it after reviewing with UWorld, shortly before their NCLEX, to see what they should focus on during their last review days.
Klarisse awesome thanks!!
Hi! For your study guide schedule, on your first you did a preassesment+100 questions and a review? Could you explain the review and questions you did after your preassessment that day?
I just went through the 100 preassessment answers + rationales! I didn't do anything else.
Thank you for quick response🙏🏾
U give osce for that or direct nclex u give?
Nice 👍 video, Congratulations! Planning to take too!
Love this , thank you!
Thank you so much, I finished school since 2018 , and just starting to get ready to start studying for Nclex, not sure where to start…
Can I buy the flash cards you made?
I only made digital flash cards which were just on UWorld itself since we’re not supposed to screenshot Uworld content!
Hi Klarisse,
A week before the test date, do you recommend doing untutor mode test to stimulate the actual exam? Or its better to stay on tutor mode for better retention?
Does the actual nclex test, also has highlighted words in their questions like in uworld (e.i "further education" or "appropriate interventions")
If your scheduled test time is at 1pm, does it really start by that time?
The link for the mark Klimek audio is not working.
The link is in the description box and yes spam/porn will pop up on the coldclutches website but just close them and click whatever audio you wanna listen to and it should work. It’s best to just download everything at once so you don’t have to keep coming back to that website!
Klarisse, where can I find Mark Klimek videos?
How long did you study for? And did you do all the questions on Uworld?
I studied from July 24 until Aug 5. My test was Aug 6. I was also working 5 hours everyday, Monday to Friday. I think that gave me enough time to study considering I really was over studying after 4 weeks. There were days here and there where I absolutely didn’t study at all lol.
Also I had about 200 leadership questions left on UWorld

HiTracy
Hello .
I signed up for u world i didnot apply for authorization to test what do u advice me
Study mark klimek at am and then do u world at pm . I did put 6 weeks for studying i will start today what do u advice.iam applying to board in illinios.
Hiw many hours do u advice to study during the day do you think 6 hours is enough
Congrats! Where do you go to access the Mark K material and where do you start?
It’s linked in the description box! Click the coldclutches website. Just close the weird pop ups and you should be able to download it. It’s in alphabetical order :)
Klarisse thank you so much!! And another question...would you say his review gives you a good idea on what to expect on the test itself..I’m just having crazy anxiety that I will get content that I just don’t know!!
Thanks greatly for this video. You have inspired me
Congratulations!... did you find nclex is easier than uworld?
Thanks, I needed to hear this.

Please I am a registered nurse in Africa. I want to apply for a masters nursing program in USA or Canada. I want to know whether I can sit up for NCLEX during or after graduation?
how much of your exam you felt like came from Mark K?
Its not that I don’t recommend it. I just never used it because for me the Uworld rationales were already a lot of info!
I just want to know if the scores you got from UWORLD (that you posted/showed in this video) was from taking it the 2nd time? Thank you!❤️

Did you write out each rationale for u world or make flash cards ? What do you recommend ?
Thank you
I just made flashcards on uworld!
Thank you!
YES that way it's just adult pharm specifically :)
IELTS overall 6 PCl nursing can take this exam or not
Thank you for the tips! And especially the tips on believing in yourself and being okay with whatever the outcome is because truly - it is just a test and we have been preparing for it for YEARS! We can do it!
Congratulations

Only used uworld back in 2017 passed at 75 questions
This is an amazing video! I have 28 days to go before my date. I will be doing 75 to 100 questions a day with some notes. I was using ATI (provided by my school) but my gut and everyone's reviews prompted me to purchase the 30day package today. Thanks for the overview now I now how I'm going to do it.
Hello I advise you to contact Dr Luther if you are preparing for your nclex be it RN or PN. He is the reason I and my husband are very happy today working as Rns.
Hey hun which package do I purchase? Like how much was the package you purchased
Hi, may I know what did you purchase at Uworld and at Mark Klimek?
Hi Klarisse,
For how long did you use uworld? And how many hours/day did you invest (to study)?
I graduated in 2008 and thinking of taking a part time (job) for two months then use uworld.
Hi! I used it for a about 6 weeks from end of June to first week of August. And the hours per day varied but it took me long to get through questions just because I take breaks often and I also review them/take notes before doing additional questions. I never did time myself but 100 questions take me the entire afternoon until evening because I'd break it down to 25 questions, take the quiz, read the rationale, take notes, before moving onto another set of 25 questions. Good luck!
@@Klarissedoeslife I really appreciate your reply. Thank you and God bless you Klarisse🙏

Which package from Uworld did you purchase? Im on their website for the NCLEX-PN version and I only see one option of 109$
My class had a discount deal with them because a lot of us bought the NCLEX-RN Uworld. I'm not exactly sure how much I paid for but it was for 6 months!

where did you get the study guides shown on 6:15? you said the notes were out there?
Yes check the description box for the link to Mark Klimek’s lecture notes. It’s on the cold clutches website. When you click the link, spam (porn) will pop up but just close it and click again and it should show up with no issues. You’ll be able to download it!

I am a midwife and not a US citizen. Which exam should I take? Thanks in advance
What’s the person vue trick?
After you take the NCLEX and wait a few hours, you can try to schedule another NCLEX date. If it lets you pay, then supposedly it means you failed. If it doesn't and it shows you the "good pop-up," you passed. This is a trick so I'm not sure if it actually is 100% accurate but it worked for me and my classmates!
I'm taking my NCLEX tomorrow.
I already rescheduled my test unfortunately because I was so scared.
No one knows that I'm taking it tomorrow except for my boss (I'm hired. I just need to pass my boards)
Hopefully I do well. If not, I hope I don't k myself.
How did it go? Please don’t hurt yourself over a test!
