Additional flower tip... cut the stems under water AND on an angle. This helps keep water in the stem and it doesn't suck up air. The angled cut allows the bottom to not sit flate in the vase and takes in water easier

All I remember is that it blew my mind and if how I felt afterward was the goal, it "fucking" worked. Felt great. It was kind of like being hypnotised or something. But HATED that I was sent there because "leadership" thought I had problems that they thought this seminar might help. Good on them for being thoughtful to try and help. But at the same time, they were the problem, lol.
I'd be inclined to leave 'the spindleys' on to give balance and fullness to the flower arrangement. The spindleys will fill out once the plants have drawn up sustaining moisture into the stems and leaves. Btw aren't you writing when you're home alone?♥
