- Much like how her son was an overdone trope done right, Suga Mama embodies an even more dangerous one, but still manages to show the competition how it's done.

She had a good moment in the reboot where she put the parents in there place when the parents we’re living threw one of the girl’s sports
I always though Oscar made enough money from Felix using his snacks as landfill, but I guess that's not enough
give some credit to the writing of Timmy Turners parents. they are supposed to be terrible parents. them being irredeemablely awful is integral to the plot. its why he has fairies.
Between Spice and Suga Momma, Spice had been coddled much more and became more successful, yet Spice still somehow wears socks with sandals. Suga Momma's parents must have been more brain-dead than a Pachycephalosaurus that constantly rams its head against a wall made of uranium, that they permit such circumstances.
Suga Mama had quite a unique Sense of Humor in both The Proud Family and its revival series, Prouder & Louder.
Suga Mama was such a good, iconic character. She always kept things real. I love how they approached her interactions with Oscar. It's not a one sided relationship. Oscar initiates the conflict and Suga Mama puts him back in check. Kinda reminds me of my mom and her relationship with my older brothers.
I always thought she was Oscar’s mother in law. Due to how many in law characters hate their son in law. Like the Grandma from Dinosaurs or Carter from Family Guy
Let's be honest: This family is memorable as fuck simply because of Suga Mama and Oscar. I mean, Penny Proud, in hindsight, is a really great protagonist (especially in a 2000s Disney Channel Cartoon, where pretty much most of those characters weren't as interesting as the modern ones), but Oscar and Suga Mama are the ACTUAL main reason people watch this show. Yeah, we hear people saying that: "Oscar's an unreasonable parent," and "Suga Mama is a horrible parent," and most of us are like: "Okay; They're still the stars of this show."
I think Sugar Mama follows Red Forman philosophy on parenting" in Order for my son to be a responsible adult he has to be miserable now."
Oscar's rthe youngest son?? Huh...looks like he's got something in common with Helga Pataki and Eustace Bagge. Especially Eustace the more you think about it.
I think another good example of a bad parent done right is Cotton Hill from King of the hill.
Since you are making so many review videos on Proud Family characters, I hope you do one about Maya someday. Because to me, she is one of the most obnoxious characters I ever came across in an animated project. And, I say it, I dislike her way more than Dijonay Jones and LaCienega Boulevardez.
I have not put that much thought into Suga Momma's character in the past. She irked me in the past but I do see Oscar's flaws. There are also her actions that I should have been aware of then that fan theory for Bobby make her a bad parent but also a complicated character.
That episode about her past in the reboot was pretty good .

Speaking of bad parents let's talk about Peter and Louise and their treatment of Meg.
Excellent breakdown. Honestly i never watched LoudHouse so i always thought Sugarmama was Oscar's mother in law. Finding out he's her biological son came as a mean surprise but knowing there's more under the surface helps out alot.
i'm glad we're pretending like the sequel doesn't exist.
One thing that always bothered me about Proud Snacks is that he had one good product, his Scary Snacks. Not only were they not bad (according to Penny), but they gave whoever ate them super powers. Combine that with that stabilizing formula from the movie and Oscar Proud could have been one of the richest people on earth, at least until the world destroyed itself from the millions of amoral super people who ate his snacks.
