Really wish this mod was like the Vertibirds, where you could actually get in and travel in real time instead of the fast travel effect. I'd love to see the player being able to man the turreted gun in the same manner as you do with the side mounted mini-gun as well. Two changes that would really push this mod over the top!
I really wish they would add vehicles to fallout. Hell, I'd even take slapping a saddle on a brahmim(misspelled). Skyrim at least got horses. Even a little hand crafted 2 stroke bike like 7 days to die has or something.
TJ4774 well they sorta did. you can use a vertibird grenade and it will land eventually and you can get in and fast travel I believe it either teleports you or you actually fly there can't remember.
The NCR took trucks to get into the mojave. You can actually see them in camp maccaran airfield, so they aren't all just shitbricked after the war. You'd think they'd give us the ability to like ride a motorcycle
Even a bicycle would be cool and they are already modeled but I think the coolest would be taming some animals to ride. Mirelurk saddles, radstag rodeo, add some actual horses to the game, a rigshaw pulled by a deathclaw lol. All this stuff would extend playability so much to me

Terminal would have options like Close/Open the back door, Fast travel, auto pilot, and manual travel, though invariably manual travel would be hard and possibly unable to be implimented due to terrain of the Commonwealth. Extra features could be adding a sort of auto turret, similar to heavy machine gun turrets in settlements, maybe only operational when stopped. maybe. built in Chennai station, that's more feasible and relevant than armor/weapon workbenches would be. Heck, I could see a way to add a power armor frame similar to the bed roll, whenever the back door Is closed. maybe the APC is too small, though.

Seriously, how do you open the rear hatch? I can’t see no button. If there is one, it isn’t highlighted. Could it be that l currently have a rad storm going on that it won’t let me enter?? I spent the better part of 30 minutes walking round this thing.
This is VERY useful in Survival, because not only does it serve as a safe location and moves, it also has it's own water supplies, where you can fill bottles of purified water, meaning your water needs are already cleared at the get go, and you need to travel around a lot, why not safely inside an APC, or Armored Personnel Carrier! Cons are that you need to discover the locations and you need to find empty bottles, also update, the APC was moved and has a little "Quest"

they should add a few apc missions like it goes missing but clues left behind and a npc tells what he seen leading to a raider or gunner camp. For another have it trapped in a sinkhole and you need to build a winch and clear out the tunnel first. For a few upgrades have drop down gun and armor crafting stations on the outside and that empty stop beside the drink box could be a nice mini chemstation but have it can only be upgraded at atom cat's garage and components could have quests like brotherhood quests.
It would be cool if it was like riding in the virtabirds where you drove around too the set location, and while you were being transported you could get shot at and could use the front cannons on the A.P.C. or shoot out of the firing ports on the side.
cool mod, but IMO a fusion core would've been a more suitable fuel source. they could have put a fusion core slot in the side of the APC under a cool hatch or something. a weapon rack would've been a cool edition too.
They should make it longer and add in all crafting stationd and also let you update its paint colour. Maybe even modify its weapon capabilities or even make the mod merge with the X com brotherhood mod and call in a squad to sit in the transport and fast travel or just normal travel with you.
hopefully he will change the model to have inflated tires from the newer pre war apc you see at the begining, its weird to drive around the commonwealth with deflated tires

When you took the note a scavenger shoud have spawned and attacked you. If this diden't happen or you killed him and forgot to loot him you can skip getting the key by using the skip startup quest option in the settings holotape.

I would like to see a more advanced version of this, so it actually has the back door be able to open and closed, but also, if they can get it to work like some mods for other games, You have to fast travel like a vertibird, so you get in, and it drives along the roads to locations, Though it's automated, with a working main machine gun you can repair, so it can shoot enemies, like a vertibird, but only if your in it to drive it, Though it might not be as fast as a vertibird, it would be -faster- then sprinting from location to location, so that way it is believable, but it also does actually take time, having to actually drive from place to place. Its ideas like this that really makes me wish I understood how to mod the game...because of the fact I can get really good ideas and wish I knew how to make them >.< Heck...if I knew how, I would make a mod for New vegas, and potentially for Fallout 4 based on a rather lore-ish friendly thing I made back when new vegas came out, as well as having advanced and developed it over time.
There are limitations to what people can do. Once you learn modding you will understand that, also there are plenty of tutorials around, teach yourself to mod.

No no no... it's not an APC. It's an IFV. An APC carries soldiers and provides limited fire support. An IFV carries soldiers and provides necessary fire support via the cannon on top.
Why would the designer put all those bottles and shit on the shelf without some sort of tie-down? Realistically all that shit would fall off the shelves as soon as you start driving. And who puts a footlocker on a shelf? That defeats the point of a FOOTlocker.

You can close the door; there's a button to push. Protects you from Rad storms too.

I have not had this issue with the APC ... but perhaps keep a backup of your save if you download juuuuuust in case
