Dude I miss you working on stuff. It was awesome watching you learn back then and fun.
I always enjoyed the Tractor work
So glad to see you again, hope everything is going great for you and your family and farming operation. Always will be watching for your next videos 🤙
Helpful suggestion here from personal experience. Look into how much hydraulic volume that hoist on your dump trailer requires and verify that your tractor has an adequate capacity.
I’m a farmer myself, in Illinois. We bought one of those “pups”, the dump trailers that they pull behind the dump trucks. We just got it to use around the farm behind the tractor, using the tractor hydraulics. It lifts it great. The problem is that the triple stage cylinder requires all the fluid that the tractor holds. So you get it lifted, and then the tractor won’t move because there’s nothing left in the hydraulic system with that also runs the transmission 😂. Needless to say, we haven’t gotten much use out of that purchase. I think the only way we are going to be able to use it is to give it it’s own hydraulic system with it’s own hydraulic reservoir.
If you have a scissor hoist under that dump bed, you are probably ok. But if that has a multi stage straight cylinder hoist of any sort, you might want to do some calculations on how many gallons it takes to lift it and check how much capacity your tractors have.
If you want to protect the tractors until 'full sandblast and painting' day ... mix up linseed oil and thinner 1:3 to wipe on with a cloth. One or two thin coats will shine up the patina and help the metal last until that big paint day. Super inexpensive and easy, lasts a year on equipment stored outside or longer if shed-bound. I got the recipe from Vice Grip Garage channel and it works.
gads Chuckie! I forgot how much I like your vids. We MISSED YOU!!!
Think I would have gone for 2 valve tools :)
I bought a sthl chainsaw chain for my not sthl saw and it’s the squarish tooth design and I’ve cut three huge trees up with it and it still sharp and not over stretched
You are a great man Chuck
Build a foundry and PLA cast scrap into new parts.
It's so great to see you back on RUclips. I honestly watched your first video. I have one suggestion for you, MOVE TO FLORIDA!!
I don’t focus so much on what you’re doing because you’re usually out of frame. In situations such as this, I still listen to what you say, which usually makes perfect sense. 😉
Damn thats why I'm different I buy an out of production stihl 1600 and I'm not done
Rotted rims, flat tires, and a partridge in a pear tree pooping. You haven't bought a farm with some acreage yet?
Think those tires hard to change? Try tiny lawnmower tires that have been in the weather just ad long😂
New tires !
Get an echo saw
Why do you plant ever year, ? The same ground
People complaining about the new tires on equipment that don't run probably never get outside and actually fix things, just let it sit and rust away. Something that you don't do, when you get a spare moment, you actually try fixing things. New tires aren't for all the couch potatoes out there.
Review for the day…spent 6 hours looking for tools and things and 2 hours working.
Actually at the beginning of the video that he was going to do some clean up
This is the US way of thinking - I don't have a screwdriver, there is no alternative, I need to buy one, immediately. Personally, I would rather spend 10 minutes crafting it from a nail rather than standing 5 idle minutes in a store and paying 2 dollars for it.
(Wants chainsaw that will last indefinitely), buys a makita? Lmao
I also like crap.
Boomer, unlike most of your videos, Good Lord are you JERKY / SHAKY on this one.
I have a rule in my shop that if it takes longer to find something my shop is to disorganized. So I stop and clean up and put things where they go. Taking time to put things back where they belong when you are done with them takes way less time.

some valve caps have a valve stem tool molded right in the top
Like that channel. Know you farm full time but could you mix in some of your great welding skills now and then
Holy klusterfuk!..🚜💨
I use dust caps that have a valve tool built into them
Chucky ducky tell Stephen Cox I said hello what you did with the precision tig 225?
I miss that and his Stickmate.
So the chain pulls the wood to the spikes on cutting side of the bar.
And the chain thing the easiest is a to avoid that from happening keep it on the bar or hang it on a old nail in your shed
Like I've said before Mr. E.... no need to apologize for your "ramblings".... you just say what goes around in my head evertime I'm in a simular situation... it's nice to see I'm not alone.
Mate, greetings and salutations from Australia, so good to see you posting again, your absence has been noted. Hope you are fit and well
You have gotten a lot better at replacing tires?
