You can try the same recipe using some different ingredients such as fruit sweeteners and gluten free flours but will say add a cup of brown and opt the remainder for powdered sweeteners and taste just as good - I've tried and came out okay but I did add some coconut to it too
I baked these yesterday and they were a super hit! One of the best cookie recipes I've tried. Super easy too, since no creaming of butter and sugar is needed! Next time I'll try adding some chopped toasted pecans....maybe some butterscotch chips too....I'm drooling already! I made this recipe and I'd definitely say these are the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever tasted in my entire life!! So delicious! Your best-ever brownies were also to DIE for. Good job, Gemma.
Family and friends agree this is the best chocolate chip cookie recipe I have ever made for them. I found it easiest to make the dough the night before and form it into a log about 18" long and around 2" diameter to put in the fridge overnight. Next day (no measuring) I cut it into 16 equal sized pieces by cutting it in half each time until I have 16 dough rounds. They end up perfect sized at a little over 1" thick for the baking sheet and at the 12 - 13 minute mark in our preheated (at measured temp for at least 10 minutes) oven they are done to absolute perfection. The extra wack (#9 instruction from your website) before putting them on the cooling rack makes them look divine with all the cracks open to the doughy goodness inside. Thanks Gemma PS - I decided to try this no measure way of dividing the dough because the dough was so stiff when I made this recipe the first time that it broke my dough scoop. The cookies came out so awesome I had to find a way to make them again without my scoop. Maybe the butter is softer in Ireland so it makes a softer refrigerated dough. I will have to try with the Kerrygold butter available in the US some day to compare. Baking Bolder Everyday
Just tried this recipe today and it completely blows everything else out of the water. The consistency was just perfect, better than Tasty’s version and so much easier.
What's not to love about the chocolate chunkage?! Here's the recipe if you're giving it a go www.biggerbolderbaking.com/best-ever-chocolate-chip-cookies/

Dear Gemma, I've tested this recipe and it turned out great! . Thank you for sharing us concise and precious recipes! I really enjoy watching your videos as if I am sitting in a very good class and I appreciate it so much! Thank you. :)
First time I come back to give a thumbs up to a recipe I tried, it was so easy to make and it came out great but I made a little adjustment to it by adding a table spoon of corn starch
I did it. It tasted awesome. The only problem I had (not the first time I'm making cookies) is that they did not spread and flat. But it was still chewy, soft and delisious.
Bigger Bolder Baking , love all your recipes Gemma! I enjoy your videos especially during this time of SIP. Stay safe and congratulations on your baby.
I'm 12 and I made these cookies . I put my batch of cookies in to the fridge for like 3 hours before i baked them . They were super delicious . But instead of melted butter I used brown butter . That brown butter gave my cookies a great nutty flavour .
I made your brownies! Everyone loved it! ❤️ 😊 Also the bannana cake. Now I'll try your chocolate chip cookies. When I try your recipes I always never fail, even in first try! Credits❤️
Hi, just tried tried them. I added almost 1/2 a cup of flour. They didnt spread out as much as I expected. The cookies tasted great! I love the crunchy- soft balance, thanks:)
I have a question, I always make this recipe and it comes out lovely. I tried doubling the recipe and it came out harder on the inside not moist . What did I do wrong?
I've just baked these cookies and they turned out AMAZING!!! Of course, not as good-looking as Gemma's, but anyway very tasty and soft inside :) I would recommend everyone to put twice less sugar, about 200 gramms are more than enough, and 200 gramms of chocolate are enough as well. Thank you so much, Gemma!!! ❤️❤️❤️
i made this and
1. you HAVE TO put this in a fridge before baking it
2. take it out of the oven when you see the cookies turning brownish around the sides
3. it would be SUPER SOFT as if it’s not cooked when you take it out but let it rest for like 5 minutes and you will get a chewy and perfectly cooked cookie

Thanks Gemma
PS - I decided to try this no measure way of dividing the dough because the dough was so stiff when I made this recipe the first time that it broke my dough scoop. The cookies came out so awesome I had to find a way to make them again without my scoop. Maybe the butter is softer in Ireland so it makes a softer refrigerated dough. I will have to try with the Kerrygold butter available in the US some day to compare.
Baking Bolder Everyday
That's smart way of shaping them! Thank you for sharing, Mark. I'm delighted your family loves the cookies. Well done, bold baker!
Looks absolutely delicious! Thank you for sharing this great recipe! Can't wait to try them!
Just tried this recipe today and it completely blows everything else out of the water. The consistency was just perfect, better than Tasty’s version and so much easier.
Hi, does it stay chewy the next few days? thanks!

Really
Thank you Gemma! I love your cookie recipes, and for the one's that call for butter, Kerry Gold Irish Butter can't be beat! I'm going to try this out, using the Belgian Chocolate bars that I picked up on my last visit to Trader Joe's! ♡♡♡

Glad you like them! Thank you for being here.
First time I come back to give a thumbs up to a recipe I tried, it was so easy to make and it came out great but I made a little adjustment to it by adding a table spoon of corn starch
U are just amazing. Your recpies just turn out amazing too
I did it. It tasted awesome. The only problem I had (not the first time I'm making cookies) is that they did not spread and flat. But it was still chewy, soft and delisious.
i tried that recipe out but the cookies were soft as if a cake but I still really like it .THANKS ALOT 😚😚.
I tried these today. They’re amazing!! I definitely recommend u try these recipe! Thanks Gemma 😁
Well done, Lucie! Thank you for giving them a go :)

I'm 12 and I made these cookies . I put my batch of cookies in to the fridge for like 3 hours before i baked them . They were super delicious . But instead of melted butter I used brown butter . That brown butter gave my cookies a great nutty flavour .
Sounds great!
I've been waiting for this video!
I hope you get to make some. Let me know how you get on. :)
I made your brownies! Everyone loved it! ❤️ 😊 Also the bannana cake. Now I'll try your chocolate chip cookies.

2:47 - Chocolate Chip CHUNKAGE!!! 🍫
You might have overbaked it this time around. Watch the bake closer next time!
Maybe you didnt mix well
Wish I was gemma she makes the bestest cookies
Thank you :)
Well done, you! Thank you for sharing.
Beautiful
Thank you :)
