nourhana nader You can. I haven’t tried margarine specifically but I use oil and it turns out great every time.

i made this and
1. you HAVE TO put this in a fridge before baking it
2. take it out of the oven when you see the cookies turning brownish around the sides
3. it would be SUPER SOFT as if it’s not cooked when you take it out but let it rest for like 5 minutes and you will get a chewy and perfectly cooked cookie

Yum! Chocolate chip cookies and brownies are my two favorite desserts! I could eat them anytime anywhere!
I'm baking those cookies for the second time now, the first time I used melted butter and It was perfect, today I'm using room temperature butter.

Hi, Gemma ❤️ I just made this recipe and I absolutely LOVED the turn out. It was my first time ever making cookies and they came out perfect thanks to your techniques. I played with the proportions of the ingredients a little bit. My brother rated my cookies a solid 7 out of 10 and he’s the pickiest eater I know. Thank you, Gemma ❤️
These are INCREDIBLE! It is a family favorite. Take Gemma's recommendation to leave it in the fridge for a few days. It makes a difference. We also rolled these into logs and froze them. When we wanted cookies, we just sliced them into rounds.

Just ate one of these cookies, Gemma said they were big ,she was right she also said they were easy to make, she was right again. These cookies had the perfect softness! I just found them a little sweet for my taste, next time I will try them with less sugar and see how they turn out.

Yuuumm! I was planning to do the brownies today and I ended up doing these cookies, super good, I couldn't stop eating the cookie dough. I put them in the fridge for an hour and a half before baking them, when I took them out their edges were good but the inside still tender so I wasn't sure if I took them out too early but if you leave them out for 5 min they still cook and they're perfect. Make sure to leave plenty of space around the dough balls so that they don't stick because they spread quite a bit.

I wanted to come back and say that I have made this recipe twice and it is AMAZING. Truly, the best chocolate chip cookies ever. If you follow the instructions, they really do turn out exactly like Gemma says they will. Make sure you eat them warm. They are still delicious once they've cooled, but then they taste like a grocery store bakery cookie.
