Yes, you only need one hose going to the bottom of the thump keg, the other side is just a hole at the top that stream rises to and escapes into a hose going to the worm. If u put liquid in the bottom it will push liquid up the other hose to relieve pressure
I had one these and for the price they work well. The one problem they have is the condenser or worm setting on top of the pot which defeats the purpose of it and that is to cool down the steam. You have all that heat coming right off the pot going up onto the worm. What I did is after a bit of pluming I move the worm off to side and now all I have do is keep the worm pack full of ice .

I think the other hose goes inside the worm barrel on the inflow so that the new cold water goes to the bottom.
The thumper v is not configured correctly. You only use one internal pipe.
The thumper should only have one hose that goes to the bottom right? How's the steam gonna escape?

Dang dude just get other pots and turn them upside down and place your thumper and condenser on the pots
You left out the pump.....

in other words, you have no idea how to set it up!
Piece of junk! Do not buy one. Cheaper and more fun to start from scratch and built your own.
