I have 50l one of these with electric element and works like a dream. I’m very happy with it. The great thing about the design is vertical is column and horizontal config is a pot still so use for stripping run. I’m getting Getting 70% abv in default vertical configuration. I do wish mine had the drain tap as it looks like new models are without drain.
I've been looking to purchase one of these with the bottom drain but they are unavailable it seems. It was a nice feature to insert the heating element. If I found one with the bottom drain I would buy it.
Thank you for this instruction tutorial video but it would be nice to focus the camera directly to the parts when installing each parts to show the orient exact way of setting. Thank you
That is a great distiller that you made one time I ordered a 70 leader and it never got to my house so for that company it's not very dependable Tobias beware about their product
Just brought me one of these and I cannot wait to be trying it out but I would like to see it in action and some more information like the thickness of the kettle bottom, what is the best way to clean it and so on. Anyone else who knows where to obtain this kind of info? Ps. Happy moonshineing fokes😎
You would think that Chinese companies would have learned by now to hire Europeans to write their instructions and demonstrate their products Sometimes they try but their garbled english does not inspire confidence. I'm not sure if its arrogance or stupidity.
Lol yeah man, exactly... what exactly they are thinking too, I can hear it now, ignorent asses, only someone who is stupid and lazy can't decipher Han Chinese

What element do you use?

What is the thread size and pitch for the temperature probe?
Probably, its a 1/4" NPT pipe threading.
@@kalleklp7291 except, its not. If it were something so friggin common, I wouldn't be asking.
@@travnat1 Then it's probably CTI threads.
@@kalleklp7291 you've literally wasted 2 comments NOT answering the question.
@@travnat1 Not correct..! I gave you the answer in my second comment.
CTI threading.

iksdk , I just purchased one. Have you had any issues with yours?
@Max Banner Do you have any pictures of your setup?
Can this thing be used with an induction cook top?
Sure.
Mine came with a bag of powder I’m trying to identify: not the color of enzyme, doesn’t seem to be yeast. Maybe yeast nutrient? Any ideas?
probably Covid 19 spores
Snort it and find out. it could be the good stuff
Ceramic balls for more volume that got crushed in shipping, I threw those out, just use marbles.
@@spike_spencer Nope, I also got the balls. This was an actual small bag. Brownish color, slightly sweet smell. Didn't activate as yeast.
@@davidjones3841 did you ever figure out what it’s for? I’m wondering the same thing.
Mersi 😩
Where do you get one of those and how much do they cost
I got mine online. They come with 0 directions. I’m on here to see how to put it together

The drain at the bottom prevents the pot from sitting level....just sayin
Tilt drain to side, like they did in the video.
The clamp is incorrectly oriented so as to hit the table,

would be too much to ask to show how to use it both ways? Pretty please?
The video shows 3 way to use it, as fermentation or cooking vessel, as pot still and as reflux still.
@@steveparks9196 Could you please explain the difference between the second and third methods?
