Damn it, talk about Miranda! .300 hitter, right handed power, hitting in the clutch. Should be playing every day. Come on guys!!!!
miranda look like crap last yr
Miranda really has stepped up this year.
@@bigboots6114 He was hurt last year when he did play and the rest of the year he was on IL. His rookie year and what he has done this year is why he should be playing the majority of the time. These guys have never been fans of Miranda and to be honest I really don’t think they are good at judging talent.
@@marthareis5873 and could fall apart like he has in the past
@@richardlug6139 even when he was healthy he struggled after a good start
In their last five one-run games, the Twins have lost all of them. The Twins should bring in Louie Varland as a relief pitcher to win more of these games. Varland has a 2.20 ERA in 16.1 innings, 21K, 1BB, as a relief pitcher for the Twins.
Ober pitched a fantastic game tonight. He’s pitching like an ace.
Honestly think we had a better team last year. Being without Gray hurts. Pablo is not playing great. Last year we were best of the best in pitching, this year we are looking mediocre. Without the pitching staff improving we don't have a chance.
I agree 100% the team was better last year. Pitching has taken a big step back the young hitting lefties have too. To be fair tho at the halfway point of last year and this year I think this years team was better in the first half thanks to Correa, Lewis, and Miranda stepping up big time and having Buck back in CF and healthy. We need another starter and a beefed up bullpen and Pablo to get back on track to have a chance.
Better regular season team?!?! Who cares!! A team should be judge based entirely on their ability to contend for championships. If this is projected to be a worse playoff team then it’s a worse team, period. When did SKOR become a let’s have a fun season show I thought this is where we go for calling for championship standard.
Easily the softest sports dad take I’ve ever heard!
I mean, you’re right about that, but they also have to get into the post season and it seems more competitive this year
If their reasoning is they could make the playoffs or even somehow when the devision but aren’t setup to win in the playoffs in my head that is literally the definition of being a worse team than last years team. They might just simply have an easier schedule this year so more regular season wins but that’s pointless if we are back to getting swept in the first round
@@RobbyBJust1B4IDIE That’s fair. Let’s see if second half Pablo can lock in and be that guy
This is not a playoff winning team, after the last 30 year's I'm tired of the twins doing just enough to make a playoff birth.
I love watching your show no mátter Who is not on the show ❤❤❤
This offense looks insane playing to its potential finally
Not sure if anyone has the stats, but Lopez sure does not seem to be a very good cold weather pitcher. That scares me about him in October.
Or September
Why is Louie varland the Jake cave of this podcast? You talk about someone so irrelevant so often like rocco when he kept throwing out Jake cave
The Twins are still missing an Ace or big time pitcher and a high contact hitter, the bullpen is still missing one piece and a consistent bench player. This is not a playoff winning team, I thought the prize was a pennant?
If the season ended today, the Twins would play the Yankees in NY and it would be a quick exit.
Kirlloff didn't fit well with the team we got jenkins lee and julien to take his place. Plus we have carmargo as well so I'm not concerned when Kirlloff leaves the twins
Julien is likely a trade chip
@@Razorbacks1kirilloff and Julien should be traded, neither have a spit next year no matter what happens.
@@Razorbacks1 he has a bad month and instantly needs to be gone. Kirlloff is a trade chip unless he turns it around quick
Need another lights out arm in the bullpen and another big bat in the lineup
A big game pitcher and another reliever
you dont know what team will show up
If the twins play New York in the first round of the playoffs, yes we do. Lol
You're off on Kiriloff
It really doesn't matter, Kililloff has had issues with management and he's do for a scenery change.
If the twins had this offense last year they win 100+game's and probably would've at least got to alcs
I like hearing Declan, he knows his stuff but just doesn't always get a chance to talk. Don't listen to them Declan. I like listening no matter who is on.
Bullpen and offense are fine. Call up Lee and trade for a #1 or #2 starter.
Bullpen is trash
@KillaB Extremely far from trash, even being not fully healthy.
@@mdiggler either you’re reliable or not and this bullpen is not reliable rn
@@KillaB k
The twins also need a high contact hitter, unfortunately the twins don't have the prospects to trade for a big time pitcher without hurting the future.
If they can continue with this more consistent offense and Pablo gets better and bullpen gets tad better yes they are lol
No matter who is/isnt on the show, it’s always a pleasure to listen to what you guys have to say.
I disagree with the questioning statement regarding platooning. I think it's important that everyone has a chance to play, it's a whole team game, and letting guys come off the bench to hit, and play some innings in the field helps guys stay in optimal shape. I think it also brings in a wider fan base. I don't think the idea to ride the same guys is the way to go, it causes people to think highly of themselves, and drains them.
I haven't looked into the outcome of every pinch hit situation, but as of now Farmer would have to continue to improve his production, so I do agree that he'd be up to switch with a guy on the Saints roster.
You don't win participation trophies in the majors son.
guys I feel horrible for commenting that purple daily sucked without Phil, I was more so just mad I had to listen to Deccy for an extended amount of time
David Festa- the Slim Reaper. If Margot didn’t dog that fly ball which resulted in 4 runs scoring after what should have been the 3 rd out, he could have gone 7 innings
So you're gonna give teams a good look at festa's stuff before he is able to adjust, that's not a good plan.
Hating on Kyle farmer. Lame
