But how do you know if she is shallow? How do you know she hasn't been made fun of by bullies? They do exist... How do you know that this surgery, looks aside, wasn't medically necessary for her? A severe underbite could cause pain when eating and/or future jaw problems. I have a small overbite and have a TMJ disorder.

Besides the looks thus causes jaw, ear, sinus issues and can cause access to build in the weird spaces that can cause heart problems or even infections that can go to the brain or heart and kill. So this was very necessary. A d was surely NOT just done for aesthetics. Just think a little before you scrutinize ideas you cannot truly comprehend.

      Ephesians‬ ‭6:10‭-‬18 says,
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. The bible is no old book. You have to really let Christ open your eyes; to see the world in shambles. Many people say it's a religion to lock up people in chains, and say it's a rule book.. why? Because people hate hearing the truth, it hurts their flesh, it's hurts their pride, it's exposes on what things have they done..people love this world so much, s*x, money, power, women, supercars.. things of this world. Still trying to find something that can fill that emptiness in your heart. You can't find that in this world.. only in Christ, the bible is no chains, it's a chainbreaker. Breaking your sins into pieces... Repent now, and turn back to the true Lord only.. God bless.

Nothing else really cleared me up. I was told I couldn’t blow my nose, so there wasn’t much else I could do.

@@mint_soup9743 thank you! I am completely healed and my only lasting ‘side effect’ is that I only have about 80% of the feeling back in my chin which doesn’t bother me at all it just means if I spill soup down my face someone has to tell me😂 the full recovery time is actually a year which I would say is accurate, you are basically learning to eat again which makes u feel like a toddler but in the end the functional improvement is worth it. Before the surgery I had maybe six teeth in total that made contact with each other, now I can bite and chew my food!

I had my upper jaw done when I was 16. That was in the '80s. It was a fairly new surgery and it changed my life. I wasn't as drastic as this girl by any means but no more TMJ no more headaches. The best thing was I was 16 and I lost like 35 lb and was over the summer. When I came back to school people didn't recognize me. It really was a confidence boost.
The funniest thing is now I'm constantly evaluating people and I'm almost 60. I don't do it to their face, but every time I see someone that could use jaw surgery, I'm like oh you have no idea how it's going to change you. Even a slight change is amazing

A friend of mine had cosmetic procedures done and said the same thing! She would suddenly look at people and say things like; "if that person could add some filler on the bridge oftheir nose would look smoother. Just a tiny bit". She didn't mean anything by it. It was more of a "if you want, you can actually change things and I doesn't take much". I just see it as her being really happy with her results. 😊

Recovery was 8/10 weeks without solid food and a lot of pain and blood loss. In the end the swelling, pain and weight loss were all worth it and would highly recommend doing this if you need it. It's usually for medical reasons. People with severe under or overbite often suffer pain in their jaws due to malocclusion as well as some have TMJ symptoms. But, of course, if they're going to do such drastic surgery, they're also going to get the best looking outcome possible. Just like when I failed a peripheral vision test and had to have upper blepheroplasty to get rid of my sagging, droopy eyelids, the plastic surgeon made sure he made then look as good as possible. I think k I was about 10-13 when I had all this dental work. It sure did help tremendously with straightening my teeth however Im 30 now and still have all the major issues with my crossbite, overbite, assymetrical face. I still need to have double jaw surgery because my bite was never aligned properly and still have a crossbite, malocclusion overbite and asymmetry of my face. I also suffer from Tmj, migraines and some breathing issues. I wish my parents would have been better informed by insurance companies and know that there are options available and corrective jaw surgery often times is the best way to go about correcting these bone growth abnormalities.

I had this done! Yes the recovery is long but the results are soooooo worth it!
Yes you have to eat through a turkey baster and it can take a few months. But it was so much fun eating foods I could before. I mean, I could never bite into an apple without it pushing into my nose. I only had the bottom fix although we realized afterwards I should of had the top done too.
For those who may have this and are on the fence. With the right support this can be done. And you will be so much happier from it!

I m a dentist, she had a brachygnathia associated to a mandibular prognathia. The offset between the bone bases was so large. Normally we don’t treat these cases at a young age because the problem with classe 3 is reoccurrence it’s genetic related even tho we could use sagittal and lateral expansions to push the maxillary forward. 😊

    Brownie recipe
    3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) melted butter
    1 1/2 cups sugar
    1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
    3 large eggs
    3/4 cup all-purpose flour
    1/2 cup Hershey's cocoa
    1/2 teaspoon baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon salt
Preheat the oven to 350F degrees. Line an 8-inch square metal pan with foil and grease only the bottom of the foil.
In a large mixing bowl combine melted butter, sugar and vanilla with a wooden spoon until well blended.
Add eggs and beat well with spoon until creamy.
In a small bowl whisk together the flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
Gradually add the flour mixture to the egg mixture, beating gently until well mixed.
Spread batter evenly into prepared pan.
Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until brownies appear set and begin to pull away from the sides of the pan.
Remove from the oven and cool the brownies completely in pan on wire rack.
Cut brownies into desired size and shape.
This recipe makes one 8-inch pan of Chocolate Brownies.

i want to add another suggestion. brown the butter on the stove and add some of the cocoa powder, as well as the sugar and vanilla like you said to it while hot and let it dissolve in the butter (blooming). will enhance the chocolate flavor and bring out some nuttiness from the browned butter. oh and let it cool before adding the other ingredients so you don’t accidentally cook it and get scrambled eggs

People hate on cosmetic procedures unfairly... alot of people you know got work done. More than you think or can easily tell.
Is this cosmetic? Kinda, I mean she wouldn't have died without this and it's her face so it's important for it to look good...she can probably eat and breathe better too and I'm sure that was the point.
