locals' favourite traditionally is SCS salted goes well with sweet kaya but business owners mostly use cheaper butter/margarine. Ya Kun's butter is good though.

Toast box kaya is not fragrant and their kaya has added starch so is not "pure", FYI. Ya Kun, Kiliney are much much better.
