Lucky!! Haha seems like everything I'm handed not only has shorted final amp transistors, but has blown drivers and pre-drivers too, and sometimes problems even farther up the chain. Nice repair.
You know what you are doing but without explaining anything the help was useless! Checking the output transistors would have been helpful had you explained the testing procedure with your vom. I think you could have removed the main board/heat sink without the total tear down of the unit! Thanks for trying but a teacher you are not! Handy you are sir!
