I lived for many years on the Pacific side of the Cascades (for our NZ friends, Idaho is on the continental side) and blackberries were my happy snack when hiking or even just commuting . By the time I got to work, I'd have picked my breakfast. Just rinse and mix with a little yogurt. Delicious and perfectly fresh.

I have actually had that huckleberry hot chocolate mix and it was amazing. Huckleberries always remind me of a mix between blueberries and raspberries! While I couldn't imagine it in a syrup or chocolate, it is good in pancakes or waffles! Thanks for sharing with us!
I grew up eating wild huckleberries in southern Mississippi. They are, to me, a tiny, slightly more tart kind of wild blueberry. My grandmother used to make a huckleberry cobbler that we would have with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream. Brings back a lot of childhood memories. Love your videos!😊❤

In other words, the pro's and cons of living in New Zeland according to your personal experiances and opinions? One of my favorite utube character (s-when his wife is on) that does USA comparisons mostly compared to the UK but he is quite funny. He is of the UK who has found himself married to an American and lives in America 🇺🇸 His name is Lawrence Brown and his Vlog is “Lost in the pond”. He loves sharing things about the US. The man has gone through big physical looks as far as early on he was very, what I would call “clean cut” short hair and button up shirts, to currently a crazy head of hair and beard and mostlyT-shirts. He’s great for a laugh and you may enjoy some of your home schooling - not only Arizona and Denzel but Mom and Dad also.
Just wanted to say that in thr past 2 years I've had a decent amount of interaction with people from New Zealand and you guys are the perfect representation of everyone I've met and I look forward to visiting!
The reason why you don't have Huckleberry stuff there is because Huckleberry's are a wild berry and we have yet to be able to grow them commercially. It takes anywhere from 10 to 15 years for a Huckleberry plant to mature to be able to start producing fruit. Huckleberries taste a lot like blueberries.
Hey y’all, I love your videos and every time I watch one of your unboxing, I want nothing more than to cook y’all a proper breakfast burrito. Bless, y’all.

Owyhee is the original British spelling of Hawaii, and is pronounced almost identically. When Captain James Cook discovered the Sandwich Islands (now Hawaii), he called the natives Owyhees, which was the word the natives used for homeland. Some of those natives later sailed on to the Columbia River basin with trappers and fur traders. Some of those Owyhees sailed further up the Columbia to explore its tributaries, one of which was the Snake River that runs through Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. The older spelling of Owyhee survived in the Idaho region near Oregon and Nevada in honor of those early native explorers from the Hawaiian Islands.

My senior year of high school, lunch was always a honey bun and a Mt. Dew! Lol
Love You All. Love Your videos!! Nothing better than coming home from a long day, having a hot cup of Coco or tea and watching Your videos!! Thank You and God bless from Lincoln California!!
Lol bit-o-honey is an old school treat. I don't think a lot of kids eat out now, but I grew up on it and loved it. Right along with chico sticks and long boy coconuts lol.
You have a young dude from Utah who loves you guys. ❤😂 thanks for the videos.
Thanks for letting us share in your fun with tastebuds! I almost leaped when I saw the Huckleberry Rocky Mountain Cordials. Family & I visited Colorado often in our hiking/backpacking days there. We always purchased this. We loved them. So different than what we had "back home". I still have some of their boxes & in many ways to hold special items. Enjoy being with you all during your videos. At least that is what it feels like! 😁
Swiss rolls were my lunchbox treat growing up! Love your videos!!!!!!! Keep it up!!!!
Chicken in a Biskit crackers are a childhood favorite. Funny enough if you ever get cheese in a can we used to put that on the chicken in a biskit crackers. The seasoning taste like chicken ramen seasoning like you mentioned.
Swiss Rolls got me through a very difficult and dark time in my life. So glad y’all like them!
I love everything about your videos but my top 2 reasons are how close you all are as a family and how good you are to your pup. I am a fanatical animal animal lover and it literally brings me to tears when I get the privilege of seeing animals that are treated so well.
So fun to watch your family enjoy each other and laugh! Reminds me of my kids being young and at home. We still have fun together, but just not often enough since we live a few hours apart. Enjoy every moment while you can! Love to all!💜
The Marine Corps flag was a timely gift as they just marked their 247th birthday.
Those Little Debbie Snack Cakes are still one of the overall best economical deals you'll find in the US. That huge box only costs about $2.50 where I live, and I can remember when they only cost 1 dollar, which I couldn't believe at the time.
You have an awesome family your kids seem very outgoing n friendly n well rounded
Greetings from New York City. Just wanted to let you know I really enjoy your videos and visiting with your family. It is so refreshing to see how well you get along with one another, how you make one another laugh, how close you all are. Viewing your videos make it seem like I am visiting with friends from the other side of the world, love you guys.
Thank y’all for your service if you were/are a veteran. I think about y’all often🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I have actually had that huckleberry hot chocolate mix and it was amazing. Huckleberries always remind me of a mix between blueberries and raspberries! While I couldn't imagine it in a syrup or chocolate, it is good in pancakes or waffles! Thanks for sharing with us!
You guys love Reese’s, Atlanta should make buckeyes for her next kitchen show! It’s an Ohio staple and I just know you’ll love them!
Yaasss!! I’m in Virginia, but I love buckeyes!
Thanks for the laughs. I really needed them tonight. Your family is wonderful. Love your tree!!
I love how much fun you have as a family doing these videos. ❤ keep up the good work!
Ha Ha.! Luv this family. The sugar was kicking in toward the end, lol.! Happy Veterans Day to all Heroes..
Y'all cracked me up while I was watching this. I laughed until i got teary eyed. I'm so glad i found your channel and subscribed! God bless from Sevierville, Tennessee.
Your family touched my heart i am older Thanks so much
Great boxes & I very much enjoy watching the sugar high kick in. Memories of our 2 adult sons when they were young. Blessings.
The reaction to bit-o-honey was exactly how it is in the U.S. Most people think it’s decent but there’s always one person who loves them
I'm just watching you open up some boxes with Huckleberry treats. I enjoy watching your family enjoy all the treats and foods that you get. Today is Veterans Day. I just had dinner with five or six of my Vietnam friends. One of them we serve together in Vietnam. God bless from Maryland.
Great video as always. Your family is a joy to watch. For a video, why not give folks your opinion on what is great about your cuntry and what isn't. In other words, the pro's and cons of living in New Zeland according to your personal experiances and opinions? You know, cost of living, schools, travel, general attitude of New Zelanders, what could be improved, the best part of living there etc. Be interesting to see how you view your country over all.
With spelling like that, you're going to make Nadine crack up again!
@@jovetj ????????

@@jovetj OOOPS! thanks for pointing that foopah. between my lapotop keyboard getting old and sometimes not typing the letters I hit, and my fumble bumble typing, I tend to not always catch such typo's.
Christmas tree already up? It's not even Thanksgiving yet.........
lol
This is such a wholesome family.
I honestly love watching your videos and been watching for awhile, your videos bring me happiness every time I watch
Hello My New Zealand Family,
My 40 year old son shared with me your Vlog saying that I would enjoy your family and he was correct. I’m watching almost daily along with catching up with past videos.
One of my favorite utube character (s-when his wife is on) that does USA comparisons mostly compared to the UK but he is quite funny. He is of the UK who has found himself married to an American and lives in America 🇺🇸
His name is Lawrence Brown and his Vlog is “Lost in the pond”.
I absolutely love your family. Your laughter is contagious
Much love from canada to the newzealand family
Love you all! The Best! I always look forward to these videos ❤️🤟🤗
I love how you guys get slap happy and towards the end of the long ones. ❤️
I love your content! My wife and I are big fans. Keep up the good work.
Reeses with potato chips are available nationwide...and it is our family's absolute favorite. The crunchy saltiness is sublime.
I'm a native Idahoan and I love huckleberries! This video was wonderful to watch!
Native Nebraskan here, and I don't think I've ever had them. I'd probably like them, though... I like just about everything.
Hey y’all, I love your videos and every time I watch one of your unboxing, I want nothing more than to cook y’all a proper breakfast burrito. Bless, y’all.
YAY!!! I was so afraid that you were going to stop doing this type of video! They are my favorite! Love you guys!
Look what we woke up to this morning… it was 25°C yesterday in Shelbyville Kentucky and today it is 0°C
Snow/sleet here in KY. Have had all four seasons in a matter of hours. That’s KY! Gotta love it
Owyhee is the original British spelling of Hawaii, and is pronounced almost identically.
Dear New Zealand Family, I am in Texas in West Texas, I am on Social Security, it is a national retirement system set up by one our greatest Presidents. Franklin D Roosevelt, he died in office during one of Americas greatest wars. World War 2. It is enough for me to live a comfortable live. I live in low income housing and have a monthly allotment for food. I wish I could send you some food but my situation does not allow it. Just know that I and many of my friends and my caretaker enjoy your program so much. I especially enjoy watching Atlanta cook. I have to make sure I have food with me when she cooks as I get hungry watching her cooking program. Thank you for your programs and your ideas of our life here in America.
Eloy Hernandez JR!!!
You folks are wonderful. You may not know it and I can't speak for everyone, but you and your videos really touch peoples hearts and lives. Speaking for myself, you bring some sunshine and laughter to my life, even when it's dark and not so easy to handle at times. Thank you so much for doing these.
To all my fellow service brothers and sisters past and present, thank you for your service, to this fantastic family, thank you for your love and curiosity in America and our culture.
You all are such a nice family and fun to watch. Thanks for reacting to these boxes with treats from all over our country. Blessings from Indiana, Pa, U.S.A. I REALLY LIKE WATCHING YOU ALL
Such a joy seeing videos from you guys. You see like wholesome and warm people, like a family I’d enjoy going on camping trips with over holiday. I hope by time you see this, if you do, y’all are having an amazing day full of positivity and smiles. Much love from Kentucky!
Their sugar buzzes are hysterical. Swiss Rolls are a favorite of my wife. They are also great both frozen and refridgerated.
I love Little Debbie. I grew up with them as after school snacks but now as an adult I buy them for dessert. Since I live alone it’s good to have a packaged treat that lasts longer so that I can have just one a week. I love the zebra cakes, oatmeal cream pies, and cosmic brownies.
