I forgot to mention that it's easy enough to add a small tuft of white wool on top for an indicator. That wouldn't affect how it fishes at all.

Yep, I'm replying to my own comment.

Hey Matt. In your comment you mentioned that a person could add a indicator to this fly. Would that be done the same as the one added to the Chernobyl Ant? This appears to be a pretty easy one to tie? I’m liking these foam videos. Look to be a lot of fun to try. Thanks for another great one buddy.

Hello Matt. One quick question please. I went to Michael’s to pick up some 2mm foam. But they were out of stock. So I ran to Hobby Lobby to see what they had in hand. They had a huge selection in hand. The only problem was it was just shy of 2mm in thickness. I’m wanting to tie up several flies getting ready for some Panfishing. Just wondering if the thinner foam will work out alright? The foam I purchased is 1.6mm in thickness. Thanks for any advice and for your time Sir.

Jeff- I think you could make it work! You might not be able to tie huge bugs like a Gurgler with it, but it should be fine for ants, beetles and most hoppers. Check out Walmart too. I think I got this pack of 50 sheets and it's just a little shy of 2mm. I use it all the time and it works great. Of course it has some crazy colors I may never use, but there is enough brown, black, green and yellow to make hundreds of bugs. www.walmart.com/ip/Go-Create-Foam-5-5-x-8-5-Rainbow-Sheets-50-Sheets/230442577
