I never realised how nostalgic the sound a tape makes when it's being rewound would make me. Right up there with 3.5 floppy disk loading sounds, hits the same parts of my brain.
Don't know if this is part of The Procrastinator's line of work but I'd love to see him playing some old 90s console games, just to hear the sounds of the buttons and d-pads being pressed under the Lo-Fi sound.
The sounds scratches my brain in just the right places, I can only imagine how many hours it must have taken to provide such high quality sound. Thanks a lot!
I love how out of the box thinking you're videos are, it's not just triggers, its a whole theme dedicated to it. How do you come up with the ideas such as the old school tape for a trigger in a Time you hardly see them now?
I litteraly found those tapes on the sidewalk in the street with bulky waste, when driving my car. I stopped and went to check them. While taking a closer look I was like "all of those are RELAXING MUSIC and GUIDED MEDITATION" and I thought what a freaking coincidence, it had to be me. I took them all, there were dirty so I told myself "why not cleaning them in an ASMR video.. oh and I already got the perfect series for that". End of story :D PS: Remember the Yellow Pages (phone book) still sealed from 1990 in the last Lo-Fi Procrastinator video? I found it in the bulky waste too like 4 years ago, thinking I might use it in a video later. Now was the time. PS2: Oh and also, the white board I used as a surface to film all my first 50 videos back in 2014, I found it in bulky waste in the street too. So I guess some of the most iconic items on this channel are just free random wastes on the sidewalk haha. Thanks to unknown people.
That big smile in the beginning killed me😂 You are so funny and you don't even have to say a word. I love the sounds and colors in this video, so relaxing 😌
This is such an nostalgic scene with all my 90’s memories and items I grew up with. Thank you for your awesome set work and collection of awesome items. You do such an amazing job!
This is the most beautiful ASMR to me, cassetteTapes are my life!! I think they are one of the most beautiful things☺️ Not to mention I know that is a Sony tape recorder!! I used to have the exact same one!
This gets me where I live. How about lo-fi-ing 8-tracks, a victrola, or an 8 or 16mm projector? Maybe some vintage handheld games? Or go really old school with dominos or a mahjong set.
Do you think you could make a video featuring an old overhead projector? The kind you draw on with dry erase markers, with the clear film that you use a little crank to roll? I loooove the sounds of those with the markers and all! I have super fond memories of my old algebra teacher showing us formulas on one. (Especially the time someone drew some hilarious lewd drawings ahead on the film and wound it back to the beginning so he wouldn't see them until he got to that part of the film in the middle of class. Lolol)
My first ever memory of having an ASMR response to something (long before I knew what ASMR was obviously, but I got tingles) was in elementary school when another student got up and was writing on the overhead projector!
rewatching this bc not only do i love this series, but i’m slowly becoming a “tapehead” and i’ll need some ideas on how to clean my tapes WHILE getting tingles in this video :)
This reminds me of when I was little i use to fall asleep listening to like a movie on a cheep dvd player that kinda rough audio and white noise like of the dvd spinning the disc I get its not the same but still very nostalgic
I’m watching the procrastinator, while procrastinating my personal creative writing, which is already me procrastinating with doing my actual English homework.
How you don’t have more subscribers is one of life’s questions I don’t think I’ll ever answer. As always superb work brotha. Also if anyone reads this, please don’t forget to like and subscribe, he definitely deserves it.

Same. I actually got emotional to the sound of him rewinding the tape.

Up!!
I am not used to this term, could explain me the meaning of "lo-fi"!??
@@throughtheblackholetotheli6147
I think it's a more laid-back video style, with homemade type sounds
Sounds relaxing
@@throughtheblackholetotheli6147 Lo-Fi is short for Low Fidelity. aka low quality. It usually refers to old radios, VHS tapes, etc.
Watching asmr of procrastination while working, it's poetic in a way

Got my tube socks up high, got my Walkman cranked up, and two box TVs are playing Nickelodeon and MTV. This is the life!!
They are called CRT TVs btw.
@@chrisa2735-h3z lol true true. We had a Zenith TV till our first Samsung plasma hehe 😅

@@nicholaslong4360 Them colorful joggers did the trick lol
Two tvs? Damn
This is more 90‘s than the 90‘s themselves! ❤️
True!! Brings back sweet memories of old days !!

Muchas Gracias!!! :D

@@MadeInFranceASMR This is the most wholesome reply I've ever seen on RUclips by a creator. Kudos to you and good luck on your journey.
@@MadeInFranceASMR probably the best time to say it.

I love that "better experiance in 360p"🤣 when I change it to 360p, truly on point like nostalgic hit that hard.

I miss the 90s sometimes and this took me right back ❤
Ohhhhhh!!! Those binaural speaker and "rewinding" sound were so good. And very creative and unique. Thanks, Maxence!!

The first 3 seconds was the best I ever seen 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😛😳 that smile
This is a 10/10 for the fact you used a ballpoint pen to rewind that tape. *Chefs kiss*
I was born in 2002, but i heard the 90s were awesome from my parents. I even had this theme for my sweet 16. This is so cool

This is soooooooooo good! The quality is out of this world!
I personally love lof i ASMR than the other high quality sounds. It feels so natural and not scripted
Just what I needed after a hard day of work. Thank you so much🖤
The creativity and thoughtfulness of your videos is so beautiful. Your work is greatly appreciated
i was having anxiety real bad and my heart was beating so fast, but your video relaxed me and i could finally go to sleep, thank you!!
Not only is this calming but also nostalgic. And rest assured I am gonna find my old casettes and clean them up this weekend.
I love all your 1990‘s!!!!
Omggg this is just perfectly the 90s indeed!! So much nostalgia! 😍 Down to the use of pen/pencil for rewinding the casette tape. 🤣🤣🤣

Watching you spin that tape on the pencil ✏ made me feel old lmao! But yes taking care of tapes is a fun and relaxing experience.
I've been waiting for such a video (Lofi)😍😍😍❤️
Haven’t watched one of your videos in a minute but I’m glad I did
Wow the songs from those tapes sound so soothing. Wish I could listen to them all video to fall asleep.

The best naps were had when the projector came out

It still amazes me that pencils fit so perfectly into the spools of a cassette tape
What an idea, I don't think anyone has preceded you with this idea, you are very creative and talented
Such a great video to watch while trying to escape some time of life for a while
YES 90s MAN IS BACK
Kids in 2021: 1:35, *“this is how it was used, right?”*
Sweet sweet nostalgia 😭😭😭
From the title, I thought you'd be cleaning tapes from Guided By Voices, Pavement, and the like xD
Awesome video!

Man this gave me nostalgia for some reason- and I was born in the early 2000’s--
Some days , this guy will make ASMR video with infinity stone :))
Perfect! I was just sitting down to do some work. Exactly what I needed!!🥰
