How To Procrastinate - Lo-Fi 1990's ASMR

- How To Procrastinate, a Lo-Fi 1990's #ASMR #NoTalking video. Lot's of quite unpredictable sounds: clicking , plastics, camera touching, keyboard typing, magazine page turning, stickers, etc.
After watching a lot of 80, 90s, unintentional ASMR videos with Lo-Fi recordings, and glimpsed both ASMattR ASMR and Rendez-vous ASMR VCR Lo-Fi Roleplays, I decided to make my own with a glossy/kitsch/garish style.
I see my video more like "fake unintentional" with raw sounds (sometimes harsh), maybe for the viewer to actually avoid procrastination and gain #productivity, while listening to me doing absolutely nothing productive.

I like this type of asmr. The realistic one. No "fake" slow or fast triggers, looks like a person is doing this in his everyday life for real. Tbh,i would want more of this on the channel.
i mean he is doing that stuff only for the video so its "fake" in a certain way aswell but i get ur point
Personally I love the sound of "Fake" high pitched/sped up ASMRs
but that's just me
yes, everyone realistically would have had RGB keyboards in the 1990s
@@atashgallagher1631 yes, absolutely, Alienwares and other gaming PC stuff too!
Yea like somewhat unintentional asmr as opposed to role plays
Im not even sure how to describe this but the weird "natural" white noise sound ive always loved in videos like these. It adds to the videos realisticness if that even makes sense. It isnt dead silent in the background is what i mean
If I listen hard for the white noise, it almost becomes unbearably loud in my head. Fascinated me back in the 1970s, still does today
Yessss dude that’s what I was thinking too!
These are handling sounds and sadly not many asmrtists are aware that theyre one of the best sounds
I totally get what you mean! It's like a static fuzz, very pleasant. EphemeralRift had some of it in his first Professor Clemmons videos and its instantly relaxing to me.

This reminds my of why I love libraries so much. The ambient noises are so comforting. These are all the songs you'd hear sitting in a moderately occupied library. I really, really miss spend afternoons just relaxing and decompressing in my local library, so thank you for giving me something to ride me over.
I’m procrastinating watching someone procrastinating. That’s what I call evolution
I'm procrastinating by watching this video.
Same picture... cool
WHAT ARE THE ABSOLUTE CHANCES-
Um me too 😏
🤣
No "my" joke its gone (procrastinateing while writing this comment)
What i loved is the sounds during stickering, and also the fact that he wasnt typing gibberish on the keyboard or the telephone switches unlike other ASMRists. That somehow is so satisfying and realistic to listen to..!
Bitc and how the hell did your see what he was typing when the camera was at level with the keyboard.
@@abrokennut4687 what i meant is the pattern of typing he did and not just randomly pressed keys in an obvious manner (like very fast and in an unconvincing manner). Keeping this point aside, his keyboard was a slanting keyboard and the camera placed on the side. Anybody who knows the keyboard byheart can guess a certain amount of the consecutive alphabet keys he pressed and put them together into words.
Today has been pretty terrible but this made me smile because I was a 90s kid, and it reminded me that I never stuck my holographic stickers (specifically my Sailor Moon ones) on anything because they were "too nice" lol. It was a very serious commitment at the time, sticking a good sticker on something.
So I should add, thank you for this. ☺️ It was holographic Sailor Moon sticker quality (the best!)
Am not a 90s kid, but for me since childhood stickers were indeed a commitment..! And still is..! :)
@@revmachine2662 Honestly, I would probably still feel the same hesitation today if I had those stickers in my hands! I'm trying to learn to use my "good stuff" and enjoy what I have in adulthood though, it makes the everyday a little more special. :)
Damn I remember that where you'd have a ultimate "value" for stickers to a point where you wouldn't use them 😂. Hope the day is better as well.
@@ravency4377 It's definitely funny to think of how important such minor things could be to us as kids! And thanks so much for the best wishes! ☺️
This is literally god-tier ASMR, this kind of stuff has always given me the most ASMR, simple videos with the amount of focus and precision. All the old machinery mixed with page turning is a match made in my ASMR canon! Thank you so much~
This video is made in such a cool way and angle. It feels like you're sitting on a chair at the short end of the table resting your arms crossed on the top of it and then placed your head on top. Just watching along what you're doing. Like a glimpse into someone else's life. Thank you!
There's something so satisfying about seeing someone use a wired phone in one hand, and a pen in the other lol
"1990's"
*Has black, RGB backlit mechanical keyboard*
Back to the Future 1990's lol
He time traveled from the 2020s to the 1990s and back to film this video.
@Benaiah Dandel 8A RGB keyboards weren't popular until the 2010s, also if there were any, I doubt a normal person could get their hands on one.
@Benaiah Dandel 8A Lol, blueooth & cherry mx blue switches keyboards in the 90s... what a dream
@Benaiah Dandel 8A are you ok?
This was absolutely perfect!! You are seriously one of the most talented ASMRtists out there! Not only do you come up with great content but the delivery is also always on point!! Thanks for sharing your talent with us!! 🎧 😴 ❤️
that beginning camera sound is all i am looking for lol
Didn’t realize it was such a big trigger for me. Relaxed me right away!!
I love this so much. These are the sounds I grew up with in my childhood, all mingled together, and were comforting and often led me to fall asleep due to these sounds indicating safety.
The rustling sounds at the very beginning of the video, and very end, were oddly satisfying. I could definitely use more of that! ❤️
I've just made a copy of this on my compact cassette, just so that I can take it anywhere with my walkman.
40:27 "hi"
Yess lol he was just like: 😏
putting stickers on the graph paper was my favorite part. I love the sloth from zootopia also. flash flash 100 yard dash
My god imagine what he could do with the pages of an Argos catalogue. There'd be ASMRgasms everywhere.
Bro this is why you are by a landslide my favorite asmrist, I watch some form of asmr, and watch a couple videos to find the right one every night for sleep and some times during the day, this is my 4th time watching this today, it helped me nap earlier and it's helping now, and this is the best asmr video I've seen in love or 4 months, please keep doing these 🙏🙏
How do you not have more subscribers!?! You content is SO good!!
✅
It take time but he will soon
I love the very start. The sounds the camera makes moving it around. Reminds me of being a teen when i took my hi-8 camcorder with me everywhere.
No talking, no aggression, no stress..
Just a chill guy minding his own business in a chill Mood with some chill stuff, making chill sounds..
Ahh, peace 🖤
Ugh I love this so much. The camera sounds at the beginning are like, top tier. I hate asmr-ists who think asmr is just quick tapping and smacking their lips. This is my favorite, your channel has such great production quality and u should honestly have more subscribers.
This is honestly one of the best ASMR videos I have watched. I am not one for overproduced sounds in ASMR and this 'fake unintentional' looked and sounded genuinely unintentional. LOVED IT!
All the sounds are so so so nice! I particularly enjoy the page turning. It’s like eating a ripe and sweet papaya and it melts in your mouth feeling
I needed this. Life is going by so fast and this reminds me to enjoy the small, quiet moments. I wish to have these back someday when life calms down a bit

Every time I come back to this video I check the view count and get upset it’s below 10 million. This is so good.
You have always done something with your videos that not many others can do. Your audio has so much detail, and yet it never seems too harsh or too bassy. Keep it up, this was a great video.
There is a slight element of nostalgia here for me, my father had an office room to take care of work at home some times. This was early 2000s so some the elements/remnants of the 1990s were carried over if only slightly, and I vividly remember this kind of white noise in his office. Loads of papers in neat stacks, file cabinets, clicking of his keyboard, writing, stickers, stapling, and sometimes this was accompanied with smooth jazz and a coffee slurp or two. Thanks for making this!
to this day this is seriously one of my favorite videos 😌 I’m still coming back to it and hope you make more like it
As a '90s kid, I loved this right away! Might be my favorite video of yours.
This legit gave me tingles I haven’t felt in a really long time. Thank you ☺️
I love this one so much. its all my favorite triggers all in one spot, in such a natural way. it reminds me of getting asmr tingles when sitting in a classroom.
and the sounds of the jacket are so relaxing.
Me as a 90s kid. And me every day since then. A procrastinator.
Thank you for your videos. I think they sound wonderful and natural. Keep up the great work:)
Love it! So natural and really gives me tingles!
The camera adjustment noises at the beginning!!!!! That was my first asmr trigger as a kid! Soooo goood
This is so good...I definitely loved the concept.
Even when it's supposed to be lo-fi, it's so well made! Congratulations
bro this is such a great quality asmr, istg these page flippin sounds had me suuuper focused on my homework today
and its also s0o0o0o0o relaxingggg~~~
Man you've been producing some hits! Waves of tingles! And I like the fact this video does not contain strictly 90s props too, to me it almost provides a glimpse into an alternate universe where things just go slower, and where there's plenty of time for everyone to do everything they want (especially at night :)).
I’ll give 10 grands to live in that alternate universe
This really is such a wonderful video. Such a wonderful atmosphere..if i didn't know any better I'd just assumed some guy turned on his camera by and started goofing off. It feels like it exists in its own little memory bubble ... Reminds me of when i worked at a library. Great stuff. Would love to see more in this style.
Definitely a new favorite. Your content never disappoints.
The sound effect of this video is very good.love it
Loving these sounds!!
This is sooo relaxing I love it 💜
i absolutely loved this, the video & sounds remind me of the times i used to write letters to friends (-:
J'ai adoré la vidéo lo-fi de Matt ASMR et je cherchais des truc dans le même genre merci d'avoir fait ça!
Tes vidéos sont justement la raison de ma procrastination
Hace tiempo que no me relajaba tanto con un video; esto ha sido increíble 🥺❤ Muchas gracias.
So creative! I love your work!
Ton contenu est toujours aussi qualitatif. Merci. (encore moins Internet lol).
Great video.. Always have great ideas to make your own thing I find great.. Many who make asmr always look at themselves from doing everything after. When someone does their own thing, I think it's great. I like your videos.. Continue so 👍 greetings
loved the camera adjusting :)
This guy is just way to unique and creative with his ASMRS
Tellement pro, tellement bien 😍 merci !
This gave me tingles so quickly. 🤗
I strive to be this good! Love this video
The 90s were special times 😛
I am so in love with ur videos ❤
"Do not forget the kids" I love it :D Also another left hander!
Finally! the video I was looking for to help me study lmao Thank You!
That last frame 😆
This is art. This video makes me feel at my granparent´s house in 1999
This is so comfyy 😭❤️ take love 🌼
That title wipe with the keyboard tho 👌
This is perfect for reading 💜
1990's the best idea ever 😊
The camera fidgeting at the beginning had me hooked!
Its so tingly-
The way you handle the camera makes me feel of the early 90s
Probably one of my favorite ones love the 90s vibe
I’m in love with this
This is perfect for be focused ☺️
As a personal pet-peeve they didn't have light up keyboards in the 90s but besides that i love the immersion.
Liked the video before even watching. Knew it was gonna be a good one
I'm really loving this ! Thank you~
I'm glad you like it :D
Second video of yours after watching your Bob Ross roleplay.❤️ Love it all
El lofi mas profesional que he visto 👌🏻
I know who you called. The movie theater to check movie times 😂
Lol
