ok, guys, you are right! but it is the best weapon you can get without fighting:) at o lvl with 0 exp. even guys at the swamp have blades with 70 dmg, but you have to fight them:)
there is a trick to that, and u can use thiss to get silax/lares axe. You start a fight with them, they ofc beat u up, and pick up your weap witch is automatically equiped by them (though may need to attack them again). After that u can jusst buy silas axe from him in trade option. With Lares may need to use sleep/ice cube.
When you're in the old mine, you can bait one of the baldies from the swamp into attacking you and falling to their deaths, which will give you a nice 2h with 71 dmg
uh clearly not the "best" especially considering the strength requirement... but an interesting start nonetheless. There's also a rusty 2 hander in old camp inner yard near smith in the chest but my question is... why 2 hand weapon? They are vastly inferior in the start of the game since you can't train 2h. Training 1h with scatty and using 1h weapons is so much better. 1h weapons are better. Now, as for the "best" weapons... -the 12 damage rusty sword along the path to the old camp -get 50 free ore from dexter for his recepie then go to smith and smith yourself a crude sword -kill molerts/scavangers at the south of the old camp, going west, train strength then go around west/north west -you can ask the baal or mordrag to take you to their camps and i think you share their exp for killing monsters -now you got enough strength to weild more half decent weapons -after talking to diego, go to old mine, north west, and at the bottom of the mine, in the 2 shafts with minecrawlers, take the right shaft, there's some rock breaker weapon lying around, you gotta kill a few minecrawlers. They got shitty fight mechanic so it's easy to kill -after this weapon, become shadow/etc, and fight bullit to get his sword of hate. -either this or you can cheat your way by stealing NPC weapons like lares/sylas in new camp, Lee's 2h sword... you can just fight them after they beat you up 2-3 times in a row. Gothic 1 is super easy.
+hazael augier i hate that how broken the game is,most of the time i don't even damage the monsters,hitting them,i have to kill lots monsters more times ,because i exprored that place before,there are possible things to happen that will ruin all of you have done in the game,like bugged entrance to the mine,ladders that could not be climbed,or even that you use shrink spell on the beast before someone just hire you to find some f*cking stones,and a lot more stuff seriosly this game is so badly broken ..... still i love it :)
@@landlord3863 1 ring from fire mage, second new camp, and you can easly get 90+ str in 1 chapter (8 lvls ) i have actually 75 str and im in 1/2 of first chapter, so its easy to get 100 str+ Just clean whole map (scar's weapon is best for begining and it require only 70str)
level ur str to 95, then go talk to Horation from New Camp rice fields for extra 5 str and go to 100. Then equip the 5 str ring and u get 105 str on Ch 1. With Scar's sword and expert 1hand, by Ch. 1 u can kill everything except for quest characters and orc shamans, fire lizards and everything magic since u don't have enough fire protection.
@@wheelmanfull you get a strength ring from the dude in the old mine, I forget his name... the intel guy right below the entrance - give him the max amount of ore when asking for the storage room key and he'll give it to you

Scar's Sword is the best 1h weapon and you can get it at chapter 1.

@Piotr Zajas or ice block, more reliable in combat than sleep and ice golem heart works like ice block rune
Best 1h but getting Silas wep then lares then Lee is better and easier.
@@liviumarin3251 Lee's axe is 2h, and I prefer using the revenge steel early game because it doesn't require beating anyone up
Arto's sword is very good as well. 65 damage,better than Silas's
You can pretty much max out your STR, get the best weapon there is and wipe out the whole map all in chapter 1.

Just go to the Stone's place, and open one of the chests. You'll get a rusty 2h sword. Also good stuff.

yes, just play him some ice cube and he`ll give you his weapon, he is a big fan

Gothic 1 is super easy.
Lee's weapon is the best in chapter 1 i've had it because i knocked out lee

yes but you have to fight him to get his weapon. The best weapon you can find in chapter 1 without fighting is the old battle axe
