That is a beautiful colour. It looks like Galaxy blue on my phone. I'm just loving everything that Hongdian is doing. I just got one of their Long Knife/Blade nibs and it's even better than my D5. Their nibs tend to run one size bigger in some pens. Fine is 0.6mm, which is closer to M.
Mi è piaciuta molto la penna nella tua recensione e nelle immagini..., so I recently ordered a blue one from Aliexpress, home in less than 10 days. Not lucky with the "pagoda" F nib: it is not smooth and has quite a few "ink delivery fails" whilst writing... It will definitely require some work or a nib swap.
Every Chinese pen I've got, writes very well. I have more experience pens, but I still enjoy these as well. I've never used a long blade nib. Now you've made me want one. Great review.
Not sure that I know what exactly you are getting at. One thing is certain and I have said it many times in my videos. I have a distinct and unwavering bias for Italian pens and in particular those manufactured by Neapolitan penmakers such as Delta, Leonardo, Gioia and Maiora etc. However, it does not stop me from being impressed with penmakers who can make a descent product for anywhere between 10$ and $50$ Canadian. Do they have the same flare obviously not. What I enjoy is a pen that provides me with a good writing experience overall and some of these Chinese pens provides that.
Ordered it. It is beautiful. I did get the little wrench. Thanks for the review.
Awesome! Thank you!
Good review. Thanks for sharing.
My pleasure

Its not a galaxy blue. It is more of a blue teal color.
I have a pen exactly like this! It is very nice! And it writes very well!
Yes it does!

I think the pagoda is an architect grind and personally I have great difficulty writing with those nibs.

Maybe translation error they meant it to be 24k gold plated, same as the red maple model
Speaking of which I just received the Maple N8. The review should be up soon.
Italy makes some of the best fountain pens in the world. This might be a hasty judgment, but if an Italian is impressed with a pen...
