Quick update. Andar Aspen case came in and that smell is intoxicating to say the least. I’ve had Apple’s leather cases for years and never had any damage to my phone so if can protect in that regard, I’ll be a happy camper.
I picked up the andar aspen for the 14PM in camel tan. Highly recommend it. The leather smell out of the box is amazing and I can tell the patina will be great. Apple leather cases have really gone downhill since the 12PM, patina is just non existent.
I have the Apple leather case and your review was spot on. I’ve had it for a year and it looks like crap … the corners have worn the the plastic and I’m not rough with my phone. Ordering a Andar next because I love that leather doesn’t have finger prints like a clear case or pick up lint like silicone.
Andar FTW, wish I wouldn’t have bought my Apple leather case TBH. Andar leather is on a totally different level and actually patinas are instead of slowing wearing paint away like Apple
I used to be a Bullstrap fanatic. I had every color for the 13 pro. Now that Andar makes the Aspen that covers the bottom, I’m rocking the camel tan and loving 🔥!
All I would ever have was leather cases. I switched over to Phone Rebel cases and never looked back. Buuuuut leather cases do hold a special place in my heart. Thinking about the Andar case.
Hello! Thank you for your feedback, I really appreciate it! As far as the leather case for mous goes, I personally love how protective the cases are and you can tell they really put a lot of research and time into that feature but the leather version to me is basically an accent piece to the case rather than a feature. The leather doesn’t fully wrap around the case and they don’t even list what type of leather it is. Anyways that’s just my own opinion, if you love the look and feel, that’s completely up to you! 😄
I often envy apple users just for the sheer amount of option you get with your accessories 😂 I just bought a Sony phone and I seriously can't find ANY leather case at on the market at all for my model!
Thank you! I used to have one on my iPhone X back in the day and yes, that leather is super nice. I’d say it’s about on par with the Andar in that the leather feels super smooth and thick to where you won’t find it peeling off like the Apple cases do. I’ve yet to try the new ones however but I’ve heard great things!
@@hocineted7594 personally not a fan. The Andar one has metal and also just did a review on a new leather case that has a whole aluminum bumper for the same price!
i have 13 pro max . I bought myself a wallet from apple magsafe, black. Do you think I will regret it? There is still time for an exchange or refund. I want to hear your opinion. Thank you
If you’re going for minimal carry, the wallet will be worth it 100% because you’ll be using it everyday. I myself don’t use the MagSafe wallet everyday so it makes less sense for me to keep it but I don’t regret buying it. If I ever do wanna mix it up, then I have this little guy as an option, hope this helps!
It's been one year since your video, and a follow-up (assuming the cases have been in practical use all that time) would be appreciated. Honestly, I've watched most of the leather case review videos on RUclips. A common failing of them all is that they do not show us "practical use scenarios" where the phone accidentally slips out of the pocket and falls onto a hard surface. Concrete and even outside where there are dirt and rocks are common scenarios. In situations where I've seen a case having taken a hit, most of the time the leather cases come out looking the worst. This is why we need to see more reviews that show us how they look. Sure, small, tiny scratches will be fine. But a hard hit may actually rip open the leather. We need to be shown which is the most durable after a few falls. Not falls from 50ft like some nutty RUclipsrs show us. Rather, practical, real world falls, maybe 3-4 times max. Do that, and your leather case review videos will be the cream of the crop!
I would say the Nomad one since it's just an all leather rubbery build with I believe 10ft drop protection. Also when scratched, it doesn't really mess up the backing. Most leather cases are horrible when it comes to scratch resistance (I mean, it's leather) but I'd say the Nomad one would be the way to go to get the best of both ruggedness and looking like an actual leather case. Hope this helps!
unless it's the phone's logo, I don't think it's a good idea to put the case's company logo. It will look like the phone is made by the case's company at first glance.
Andar aspen is now bottom protected btw for the 14PM.
Great to know!
Has the magnet gotten any better to your knowledge?
Bro you showing black cases. How can we see patina or wear and tear? 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
10:51 that’s the sweetest and humblest subscription mention I’ve ever heard on RUclips

Love that leather smell!

Definitely agree! Andar’s stuff is amazing!
You made me buy one for my pro max. Waiting for the Brown version one to arrive!
I'm between Camel Tan and Brown. I love the Apple Leather on my 11 Pro (saddle brown) and I'm looking for a similar patina. How is yours?

Andar and Nomad are always consistently the best leather cases imo. Can’t go wrong!
I ordered the grams 28 with the leather strap
Awesome, I hope it treats you well!
Andar FTW, wish I wouldn’t have bought my Apple leather case TBH. Andar leather is on a totally different level and actually patinas are instead of slowing wearing paint away like Apple
Totally agree! Andar is on a whole different level.

Thanks for sharing! I love that companies have started to cover the bottom!

Those look really cool! I think leather holds a special place in all of us haha
Great video! Really nice production quality. By the way, what are your thoughts on the mous limitless 5.0 leather case?

Haha dang yeah it’s rough. Reminds me of the windows phone years back which made me switch to the iPhone 😂
NoMad case is my favorite
It’s an awesome case!
Nice review. Looking at these case reviews so I know what to get when the 15 Pro Max goes on sale.
Awesome! Perfect timing 😁
Sizce en kaliteli ürün hangisi
I bought the bluebonnetcase and worth it, it covers the bottom side as well with leather, has metal buttons.
Nice! I might have to look into those 😄
crazy content editing . whats your take on the top grain Bullstrap leather case? lots of youtubers tried em and Jeremy Siers uses one
Thank you! I used to have one on my iPhone X back in the day and yes, that leather is super nice. What do you think of mujjo leather case ?
It an awesome case! But personally, I am more of a fan of the Andar one 👍🏼👍🏼
@@sideoftech but do you like the plastic around the camera ? Does it look bad or cheap ?

I like the way BullStrap cases patina, and the leather smells amazing!
I wish I was able to try that one! So many people have told me great things about them.
ya should have included the bullstrap
I’ve been hearing a lot of good things about that brand! I’ll be sure to include it in a future video.

Really liked Andar case and opened bottom case looks classy.
It’s a beautiful case! If you decide on it I have a discount code for everyone in the description for your convenience 😄
Just ordered using your code and review thanks
Thank you so much!!
Cases from VAJA are the best
My apple leather case scratched in just two weeks. disappointing for its price
Yeah, definitely not worth the price for that thing and especially now since they have the crappy non leather ones for the same price.
wasted my money really. so upsetting@@sideoftech
Which one is the lightest and best coverage drop etc and scratch resistant
I would say the Nomad one since it's just an all leather rubbery build with I believe 10ft drop protection. Also when scratched, it doesn't really mess up the backing. Great quality video and content g🛸
Appreciate it! Thanks for taking the time to comment 😄
Keep doing your thing 📈
Cool video , sandmarc is nice
Thank you!! Glad you enjoyed 😁
First time seeing your channel man. Love it!!! Keep it up 👍🏼
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed 😄
Dude you literally said that the Nomad case was 100% leather when the sides of it are plastic
I want hear about leather quality man, not about the magnet😑
I dont know why other Companies dont put a logo on their cases. If you proud of your product you should put a logo on it aaaaand it looks better imo.
Haha most likely a style choice but good point to bring up!
Nah logo is ugly bruh, I just want good quality leather I don’t need a logo
unless it's the phone's logo, I don't think it's a good idea to put the case's company logo. It will look like the phone is made by the case's company at first glance.
The Andar one is ruined by having a black border around the camera cutout instead of a matching color. Terrible tbh. Almost lazy.
Most of these are vegetables not real leather
Most of them are full grain leather, none here are vegetable tanned leather 👌🏼
High quality leather cases are not for children. When you will grow up you will understand that Nonad Horween leather is the best of the best.
Agreed!
