From my layman's understanding, it's a difference of formaly distant vs. casually intimate. In English, we don't use first-person formality, really, so the best way to really compare how stark of a contrast think of someone who normally talks politely or something saying "I'm going to make you regret that, sir" but instead they break their politeness and civil character to say "buddy, I'll make you regret that". Or, think how mob bosses sound more threatening the more friendly and more they use terms of endearment to drive home a point. (Do correct me if I'm wrong in that interpretation, it's my current cultural understanding of formality rather than a direct knowledge of the language)

As a french guy from France, I generally hate what they did with Alastor's voice. He sounds too much like a jester trying too hard to be funny, with many overly exaggerated intonations. But this bit specifically? Not to be chauvinistic, but that was gold.

The french version has differences from original. In original, voice is calm and charismatic, which contrasts with his devilish appearance, the same in russian version. But it's not bad, it gives new character notes to song.

And the Russian laughter sent chills down my spine, they are both really good languages to me.

The french version has differences from original. In original, voice is calm and charismatic, which contrasts with his devilish appearance, the same in russian version. But it's not bad, it gives new character notes to song.
While everyone's complimenting the VA's, I'm just as impressed by the comments that focus more on sharing the parts they love rather than talking hate. @@Lia_Huyga просто у нас в русском все произносится гораздо тверже, и упор на каждую согласную, когда в других языках они часто не проговартваются, я не эксперт в обьяснениях, но наш акцент и говор считается очень "твердым"
