7:46 Exactly! He is very lucky to have a father like you, who is willing to help teach him about the hobby, and like you said, to respect other people's RCs.
This is fun for me to watch because I was just playing with my Dad at my local track all last week with our TLR Typhon's. I got him into RC's this year and he fell in love with it. Hes gotten very good in a short time because he is retired and gets to play a lot at his local track and has made friends with the people that run the track. I first ordered him a SC10 Pro4 short course truck to start off with but once he seen and drove my TLR Typhon he instantly wanted one so we got the RTR one for him. I was lucky to find one on ebay for $545 NIB. They are some of the best buggies on the market for the price in my opinion. The last time he came out to stay with me for a week I was blown away how much better he was and we are able to battle at the local track now haha It such a great hobby for a Dad and Son 😀 The only weak points I have found on the buggies are the shock rod end you broke. Both of ours did the same thing and the front shock standoffs being only 3M will snap off if you land bad. We drilled ours out with a 4M bit and used thicker standoffs and they have been solid as a rock. You will loose some adjustability on the shock tower but its not that big of a deal once you have the buggy setup good.
Good video. It's great to see you and your son having some fun together. Thanks for explaining things as they occur, which is now, your normal. Those cars look interesting, (including the other videos with the actual race, etc); but for now at least, I am going to stay with XMaxx, Maxx, Bigrock, Outcast 4s, Vigilante, and similar.
got your shock tower fixed! suspension seems really plush and nice to me. your son has no idea how lucky is to he able to enjoy a hobby with his dad. good stuff bro 👍
Good Typhon series Earl! My Typhon 6s V5 - Im having issues finding off road tyres that dont blow out even when they are brand new! Max 6 combo installed. Can you suggest anything that can handle the Max 6 ? I'd hate to go back to stock. Ive got a Max 6 combo running 6s. 21T pinion, Stock Spur. Absoluely brutal amounts of torque/power delivery. On road tyres arent an issue here (Running 107's Hoons).. just offroads tyres are blowing to peices. Also, Im running 500k center, 300k front and 200k rear... i cannot get a pass in without the front end lifting up at about 3/4 power. What Oil weights would you recommend to fix this bud? Id really appreciate the advice.
We need a TLR video on camber and toe adjustments! At least I do!😢 Is tour front wheels pointed out? Or they dead ahead straight?? Thank you. PS hopefully it's still not 110 F still out their!
@wyldebill7248 for me the Tekin motor TT2342 1900kv ESC an RX8 Run it on 4s on a 17t pinion stock spur on the TLR Typon should be really cool and smooth 👀
Get him to be more involved in the channel…like a “test” driver along with his dad(The Master) he’ll (grasshopper)have fun with it instead of being in boot camp like he needs to be now🫡
He’s been running rc since he was 3 years old now turning 17 years old, as I’ve always done with all my kids they choose what they want to do. He definitely doesn’t want to film rc content as I’ve given him his own Camara and he has all his Own rc cars, he’s a gamer and has his gaming channel. We went to the race track and is now inspired to go racing so he’s just practicing to hit the track as soon as he get control of the rc not to cause damage to any other racer rc , but it’s his choice, hopefully he get control soon so he can go have fun as I won’t be racing at the tracks as it’s not my thing 👍
@@earlmoorhead5555 I figured that your kids had to be introduced to RC for sure… mine have too and they don’t dig it like I do. I think you have the same thing going on. When they do get into it it’s fun cause it’s your kid… you never know when they will catch the bug🤞🏻

Going on with my son in an hour. It’s always more fun to go out with my son.
Great times Earl!
Best race team ever.
Father & son.
I really enjoy your videos. The ones with you and tour son always make me laugh at some point. Always better content with 🥜 in it.
That "I can drive better backwards than you can forwards!" should be a t-shirt.
Good tip with the droop screws

Funny as s*** I drive better backwards than you do forward 🤣🤣😭
Nothing like some good smack talk before the run.
Which track do you plan on racing with your son and when?
Do you plan on running these cars?
Need some guidance on good ESC/ motor combo to run 6s on typhon roller 😁🤙🏻thanks
Whatcha trying to do with it?
@@DeejayPozE mainly just bash! Have another tlr with stock system and also another blx. Just wanna try something different other than spectrum 🤙🏻

@wyldebill7248 but
If you just bashing then a max 6 combo should be fine
