As a par/bogey golfer who rarely gets to play… I’ll stick to buying the 425… I’m getting a barely used one for 270$… I’ll like to keep my money… You can drive all you want but it doesn’t mean in the hole
@@terrydunn111 yeah the LST was fitted for me. The max was forgiving but it’s so spinny. It blooned into the air. No way is it worth upgrading the 425 max for the 430 max. Absolutely no difference. It’s a waste of money.
Honestly given those numbers, it kinda looks like your hitting down on the ball since your launch is so low and the spin is so high. Those numbers are still great but with ball speed at 170+, you should definitely be carrying just over 300 on average. Put some foresight markers on the club face so you can get some club data. And then maybe switch the shaft, tweak your swing, or move the ball a smidge further in your stance. Hard to tell without that club data on how to troubleshoot. But hey, that G430 sounds great and is a rocket! I’m picking up my LST later this week 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
From everything I’ve seen, it just comes down to whether you like the sound of the G425 or not. If you don’t, then G430 might be better, if not pick yourself up a G425 which will now be cheaper
I'm using the G25, bought it new; 68 yrs young, index 2.8 but swing speed about 93mph with carry distance of around 223. Would love to see a comparison with the G425...would a different shaft make the difference or the head; or am I simply stuck with this swing speed (doing some gym work and hard swings every 3 days with my driver as training). Curious as to your thoughts, thanks from Canada.
The first thing Ping says about the G430 is that it is not counterbalanced like the G425. You would need to reevaluate the shaft also to get a true picture of the differences it would seem.
I hate to break it to you George but that bracelet that you have in your hand doesn’t improve your balance or flexibility 😂 , it was a big scam. Enough of that though, nice review and love the humor behind it. I’m sticking with the G425 for know .
One tip pls guys. Something original if you can. I see you are low on grip and I assume for control but give me something that you wish someone told you back in the day? I am an 11 handicap btw
I haven’t really got any tips being completely honest mate 😂. My biggest regret is stopping playing for such a long period of time… so maybe I wish I had listen to people when I was younger who told me to keep playing? Would have been a much better player than I am now

Good review! Really like the look of the G430 but prefer the sound of the G425. I’m still using a cobra speedzone and love it.

Go have a swipe with a few different shafts & lofts my man and see if you can nick a little more launch and ball speed in a new combo

I bought a leftover new 425 and today traded ( plus 100 dollars ) it for light new 430.....they say it's even more forgiving
