In my opinion, a single mother should looking for a single father (if there's such a thing, because women get custody 9 times out of 10). But why would they? In my marriage, I entered the picture when the girls were 3 and 16. I was understandably concerned but in the beginning my wife seemed open to my input, and the youngest's father is a legit psycho. I thought they were in danger and so I married her quickly. I removed the danger and gave them a good life, eventually taking in my mother in law as well. Now, 9 years later, they are leaving me because the girls want to give their mother a household she is in total control of. They don't understand what I have done for them because it was all filtered through my wife. I never saw that coming. It doesn't matter how good a man you are. The psychological problem introduced by combining feminism, fear, and freedom has made being a stepfather a truly dangerous thing to do.

I spent 10 years with a woman with 2 kids. She was a SOLID 9. Men would get whiplash when she put on makeup an just walk by. We almost bought a house together. She was a tall, curvy but slim Latina with curly black hair & black eyes. We're In NYC so she'd be a 10 in most of the country. She stopped wearing makeup, gained 70 lbs, only wore sweats & hoodies, and only kept her hair in a tight ponytail/ bun. She wanted a ring. I am divorced and 12 yrs older than her. @@chellec7347 The main reason was the discipline of the children. They were 6, 4, and 2 when I met her. The 6yo is 22 living at home with his mom.The 4yo is 20 and engaged to a 31yo with 6 kids. The 2yo is 18 going on 19 this year and failed his senior year. The two youngest also were locked up for assaulting their father. I was this woman's 2nd marriage as well. It promptly ended in divorce because I caught her cheating while we were in marriage counseling.

Man you said some real shit there that hit me. I had a child with my gf at the time and we didn't stay together too long. Then we were on and off for years until things finally aligned and we got married. But that took 7 years and now we are happily married with 4 children. But tbh it was getting to the point of either I was going to be with her and take care of our child together or leave her a single mother.

Every child born in marriage is yours, even when your wife cheated. In New York you can't take your name off the birth certificate even when you have DNA proof that child isn't yours.

I was with my daughters father for 4 years...When I date I look for a Man who mirrors my life a single dad who has 1 child as well because just like men dont like the multiple baby daddies Me as a woman dont like the multiple baby mamas. A man I settle down with would not have to provide for my daughter because her Father is very active in her life. I do want more children but the 2nd time around I do want to be married. The dude she's dating would be fulfilling the role of the biological father, without ever having any biological kids of his own. But, a man who is the stepfather, sacrificing everything, using his time/resources, and footing the bill can't even get 1 kid with her. It's selfish. She had the 1st kid at around 26 and the 2nd kid at 40. Neither of the men are involved with her or the kids. The 1st baby daddy is married and has other kids on one half of town. The family constantly puts all the blame on him for being an absent dad, but says nothing about my cousin's choice to choose this man as the father of her child. Back in 2006 (shortly before she got pregnant), my dad even pulled her to the side and said that he saw red flags with this dude.The oldest child has been asking where her father is and why he's not involved and has resentment toward him, but as it typically goes, doesn't say anything about her mom's decision-making when it comes to men. What makes things worse is that she knew her 2nd child's father already had 3 baby mamas before she got pregnant and now she's the 4th baby mama at 42 years old. How can you be willing to get pregnant at 40 years old by a man who you mas as well say "ain't shit" and still chose to risk your life in childbirth to have a lesser man's child? But you won't have a child for a man who's willing to possibly marry you and take of 2 other men's kids? Maybe it's just me, but it makes it seem like she's using him ...because at that point why not seek out another single parent who knows what it's like to be a father, already has his own kids, understands your struggle as a single parent, and combine your households together? She constantly complains about her situation and the females around her coddle her and don't tell her the truth. The most delusional thing is not completely the choice she made, but the lack of accountability and self-awareness for it. It's unfortunate because I bet her kids always blame their fathers, but will not hold their mother to the same level of accountability, if at all. She's a part of their suffering too, if not more.
Was married for 4 months once. Before marrying this woman, we agreed that our children would be treated equally. Her 2 daughters were already living in our house with their own bedrooms. My 2 sons were coming for summer visitation. I asked her which of the girls bedrooms she thought the boys should stay in. Her response: "I don't think it's fair that my girls have to give up their own room. My mother thinks we should set up a bedroom for the boys on the back porch (screened in back porch)." Needless to say (but I will), I filed for divorce immediately and received one a couple months later. But, of course, I was the bad person in all of this and was verbally assaulted by her and her best friend as I and my brother politely moved my possessions out of the house. I AM NOT making this up, it really happened. This is the kinds of "deal" that women think are fair/right. Unbelievable.

Im 32 have no kids and went out on a date with a woman that had three kids she was about a 6 overall I met her at brunch randomly. She was my age and I found out on the date that she had three kids. After that I stopped going out on dates with women with kids after that because most of them are looking for the guy to show up on the white horse to save her from her bad decision which I didn’t want to be nor could deal with. I advise men to do your due diligence before hand. Not knocking dating a woman with kids it just ain’t for everybody. Met a dream girl in college (physically speaking). I found out she had a child with a football player at the school and I had to bounce. She didn't even tell me, I found out from a friend. It's a total turn off for most guys that look at long-term potential. I see someone who has poor judgement and I'm considering the financial burden just as a woman who wouldn't want someone who's broke. It just urks my soul when people use the "I was young" excuse as if no one has to deal with repercussions of poor choices. Being young doesn't mean you forfeit freewill. At the end of the day we make choices that have effects. Children are no light order and to act like it shouldn't affect someone being interested in you is absurd. Men in high places don't get to where they are by being reactionary, but rather proactive. Many were proactive in their youth to get ahead, and they have every right to want the same in a partner. Now does this mean women who have children out of wedlock can't find someone? No, but it decreases their market value. As someone who's a Christian it's a blatant mark of sexual indecency, and shows that they clearly don't/didn't share my moral compass. While they can and should be forgiven their actions still normalized sin, and that can't be overwritten. If I'm trying to figure out who I want to marry I'll try to find someone who has been disciplined and sought to do good even in their youth as I have strived to do. I would want any future children to see the success a healthy relationship can be, and serve as an example to them. Mending a broken home seems noble on the surface but has long term implications to our community's stability. It'll become expected that a man will come and sacrifice a piece of his happiness for someone who prioritizes their own happiness. Hearing some of these single mothers complain just shows many lack empathy of their own for guys that want whats best for them too.

In my marriage, I entered the picture when the girls were 3 and 16. I was understandably concerned but in the beginning my wife seemed open to my input, and the youngest's father is a legit psycho. I thought they were in danger and so I married her quickly. I removed the danger and gave them a good life, eventually taking in my mother in law as well.
Now, 9 years later, they are leaving me because the girls want to give their mother a household she is in total control of. They don't understand what I have done for them because it was all filtered through my wife.

I spent 10 years with a woman with 2 kids. She was a SOLID 9. Men would get whiplash when she put on makeup an just walk by. We almost bought a house together. She was a tall, curvy but slim Latina with curly black hair & black eyes. We're In NYC so she'd be a 10 in most of the country. She stopped wearing makeup, gained 70 lbs, only wore sweats & hoodies, and only kept her hair in a tight ponytail/ bun. She wanted a ring. I am divorced and 12 yrs older than her. She started arguing about the smallest things. It got so toxic I just gave up. She finally broke us up because I quit trying to maintain the relationship.
I forgot to mention that she had more pretty privilege than any woman I ever knew. She's in her 40s now & that privilege is gone.

The 2yo is 18 going on 19 this year and failed his senior year. The two youngest also were locked up for assaulting their father. I was this woman's 2nd marriage as well. It promptly ended in divorce because I caught her cheating while we were in marriage counseling.

It's a lot of these women in real life who have the same type of mentality when you observe their behavior and see no accountability. I even have a cousin who has 2 kids, 2 different fathers, never married, and is now dating with a 15-year-old and 2 year old. She's dating a childless man and she wants no more children. The dude she's dating would be fulfilling the role of the biological father, without ever having any biological kids of his own. It's crazy because she doesn't speak highly of the 2 men who impregnated her, but still chose to have their offspring. But, a man who is the stepfather, sacrificing everything, using his time/resources, and footing the bill can't even get 1 kid with her. It's selfish. She had the 1st kid at around 26 and the 2nd kid at 40. Neither of the men are involved with her or the kids. The 1st baby daddy is married and has other kids on one half of town. The family constantly puts all the blame on him for being an absent dad, but says nothing about my cousin's choice to choose this man as the father of her child. Back in 2006 (shortly before she got pregnant), my dad even pulled her to the side and said that he saw red flags with this dude.The oldest child has been asking where her father is and why he's not involved and has resentment toward him, but as it typically goes, doesn't say anything about her mom's decision-making when it comes to men. What makes things worse is that she knew her 2nd child's father already had 3 baby mamas before she got pregnant and now she's the 4th baby mama at 42 years old. How can you be willing to get pregnant at 40 years old by a man who you mas as well say "ain't shit" and still chose to risk your life in childbirth to have a lesser man's child? But you won't have a child for a man who's willing to possibly marry you and take of 2 other men's kids? Maybe it's just me, but it makes it seem like she's using him ...because at that point why not seek out another single parent who knows what it's like to be a father, already has his own kids, understands your struggle as a single parent, and combine your households together? She constantly complains about her situation and the females around her coddle her and don't tell her the truth. The most delusional thing is not completely the choice she made, but the lack of accountability and self-awareness for it. It's unfortunate because I bet her kids always blame their fathers, but will not hold their mother to the same level of accountability, if at all. She's a part of their suffering too, if not more.
Was married for 4 months once. Before marrying this woman, we agreed that our children would be treated equally. Her 2 daughters were already living in our house with their own bedrooms. My 2 sons were coming for summer visitation. I asked her which of the girls bedrooms she thought the boys should stay in. Her response: "I don't think it's fair that my girls have to give up their own room. My mother thinks we should set up a bedroom for the boys on the back porch (screened in back porch)." Needless to say (but I will), I filed for divorce immediately and received one a couple months later. But, of course, I was the bad person in all of this and was verbally assaulted by her and her best friend as I and my brother politely moved my possessions out of the house. I AM NOT making this up, it really happened. This is the kinds of "deal" that women think are fair/right. Unbelievable.

Met a dream girl in college (physically speaking). I found out she had a child with a football player at the school and I had to bounce. She didn't even tell me, I found out from a friend. It's a total turn off for most guys that look at long-term potential. I see someone who has poor judgement and I'm considering the financial burden just as a woman who wouldn't want someone who's broke. It just urks my soul when people use the "I was young" excuse as if no one has to deal with repercussions of poor choices. Being young doesn't mean you forfeit freewill. At the end of the day we make choices that have effects. Children are no light order and to act like it shouldn't affect someone being interested in you is absurd. Men in high places don't get to where they are by being reactionary, but rather proactive. Many were proactive in their youth to get ahead, and they have every right to want the same in a partner.
Now does this mean women who have children out of wedlock can't find someone? No, but it decreases their market value. As someone who's a Christian it's a blatant mark of sexual indecency, and shows that they clearly don't/didn't share my moral compass. While they can and should be forgiven their actions still normalized sin, and that can't be overwritten. If I'm trying to figure out who I want to marry I'll try to find someone who has been disciplined and sought to do good even in their youth as I have strived to do. I would want any future children to see the success a healthy relationship can be, and serve as an example to them. Mending a broken home seems noble on the surface but has long term implications to our community's stability. It'll become expected that a man will come and sacrifice a piece of his happiness for someone who prioritizes their own happiness. Hearing some of these single mothers complain just shows many lack empathy of their own for guys that want whats best for them too.

Having child(ren) out of wedlock is a mistake. The child is not. Children are not a burden. If you had a child out of wedlock, instead of focusing on attaining marriage. Work on healing the part that made u a mother before a wife.

Children are not a burden to YOU as their mother. But this is NOT how men think. At least men that women would respect. Yes, it is possible for a man to marry a single mother, but if that man cannot discipline those children, it's very emasculating to that man, and his wife will NOT respect him and neither will her children. That logic is completely backwards, if your parents don’t really want to get married and end up fighting, that makes a bad life for your children. There’s a reason there’s so many kids with divorced and unhappy parents that have to sit in between custody battles, and having to stay with one parent over the other. Moral of the story... don’t get married before you are ready just because you think God wants you be married and unhappy while also making your child’s life miserable.

When I think about men like Future... and the regular shmegular “Futures” of the world... it makes sense how less Black men have children than Black women. There are dudes recklessly spreading their seed, uncommitted... impregnating 2-20+ women who were unfortunately too comfortable with the idea of carrying a man’s child without first being his wife. So many Black baby mamas hope to end up like Ciara aka a real life Tyler Perry success story (Black HVM previously married to Becky who cheated on him with a former teammate, finds love again w/ a baby mama whose career is on the decline, has been a side woman to a married but separated NBA player, then gets engaged to a reckless rapper, becoming baby mama #3 or #4... they break up because he backs out of the engagement... she’s single for less than 5 years and engaged then married within two years... with a fabulous wedding in Europe and in 3-4 years, have a baby girl and boy together with no real complications... all while he constantly praises her and is blessed in endorsement deals and other businesses)... but then they come to Kevin’s platform and are reminded of the grim reality that awaits them... TOUGH.
