    Top video mate! You do a very good job explaining the whole process. I must say the shot you got of the squid mating with the female was epic!! Tight lines 😁🎣

    Thanks for the video Greg.
    Great instruction for those always wanting to learn more. Much appreciated your sharing.
    We were in South Australia a few years ago and trolling was one of the main methods they used if fishing from a boat, or like us, a kayak.
    Those southern calamari certainly pull!
    I love the paternoster idea.
    Keep up the good videos.
    Cheers.

      Thanks heaps Terry much appreciated mate. Oh wow isn't that interesting mate I didn't realise that was a common method anywhere. I could imagine it would be a deadly technique behind a kayak being so quiet. Thanks again mate. Cheers

    Another great video thanks Greg, and the reward is they are so tasty! I have tried the tow bag a fair bit like you do, and found that splitting the body open before towing cleans them up spot on. Thanks for sharing.

      Thank mate appreciate the support. Yeah my original intentions were to keep them as squid rings but changed my mind last minute so could have cut them open and put them in the bag. Cheers mate.

    When I clean squid, my hands get super itchy... any idea why?

    Can i do it all year round is that worth it?

    • @gregswickedfishing
      @gregswickedfishing  Год назад

      Absolutely mate. As shown I did it during the toughest time of the year and still caught them. Do it when the squid are thick and you will catch plenty.
