Fun fact: Whenever a Schindler 300A (not sure about other models, but I have seen one instance of something akin to that on a 3300) loses power, all the indicator data is erased and the indicator just shows the lowest floor as 1, and counts upwards, and it has to be manually restored. This elevator wouldn't demonstrate that but if the lowest floor was 2 or there was a mezzanine or basement or something like that, then it would just count upwards.
Thankfully, the floor labels are in the correct order according to the floor indicator despite the power going out. If it was at a different location, we would probably think otherwise.
Wow that's gotta be terrifying! I'm pretty sure most newer elevators have battery backups so that it doesn't stall like that when there's a power failure, but clearly that MT is lacking one...
1:21 Oh shucks! The power is out! 1:25 oh crud! It seems the light is back on. It was losing the power. 1:31 The power is back on. Do not use the elevator. It will get stuck when the power goes out. 1:58 Take the stairs during power outage. 2:00 It's got to be severe weather cause power outage for using the elevator because it got stuck.
Kone elevators are even junkier because of cheaper build quality, compared to a Junky Whirlpool HE Washer, vs an Old-school Whirlpool Direct Drive Washer.
1:21 The Power Goes Out! That never happend to me while I was in the elevator before. I'm glad you got out safely by using the MPE
Oof. That really sucks. It was cool to see the emergency light in action, though!

Omg…. your lucky you were not in there for a long time but I love your videos ❤ and schindlers do have the worst quality so it would to be crazy 😭
The Schindler quality, not really low, because some are high quality
@@leticiaquinonez7483 At least the elevator "recovered" after the power outage.
Actually insane wtf😭
That's scary I would be terrified especially if the lights went out
U can make a popular channel with being stuck in an elevator all the time
If power goes out while I'm on elevator,
1. Pass out
2. Wake up
3. Emergency call
Do you know what the cause of the power outage was?
massive storm
Did the crap Schindler MT at the MGM Grand get fixed?

More reasons to hate Schindler elevators 😭😭
Or just overhead powerlines on top of obsolete & fragile wooden poles.
Unless if they’re 3300 or 5500 they look lit asf
What kind of elevator is that?
A Schindler 300A MT
Holy crap
This thing is quite junky
