Fantastic idea, I bought the beads to melt that I saw in another video, that may cause a lot of smoke, but I have parrots in the house and their lungs are very sensitive, so the smoked oven was not my favorite idea. This I can do quite easily, as long as not in same room with them. I have used nail colors with my grandkids on projects to color glass circles for jewelry. So we have a whole lot of nail colors. Our Dollar General has a really nice selection at a dollar each. Thank you for the best idea.
That nail polish amount is about how many I pick out of my whole stash whenever I'm trying to decide on my next color/design. Then I laboriously slim it down until I finally choose one color scheme. Lol 😂 Thanks so much for sharing this amazing idea!! ☺️👍
Terrific ideas! I have done the hot glue and painted with alcohol markers and I have done the nail polish alone but it makes more sense to polish the base and thanks for all the ideas for the bases!
I am SOOOO excited to try this technique, Tori! I have been looking for a way to make enamel dots and all the other ways I have tried never work but this seems like it would. I can wait to try it! :)
Thank you! I will be trying these! I also have a floral mod podge mold that I use hot glue in. I have used paint and perfect pearls to paint them. My old stash of nail polish will be coming out to play. THANK YOU! I have a few people that I give note card sets for Christmas. These are awesome ideas!
+Tori Bissell I haven't made the dits yet but I combined a few of your ideas and played last night. I bought a bat and a witch punch. They were on a great after Halloween sale a few years ago. I haven't really used them. They fit within the 1.5 inch scalloped circles from my punch. My heart punch was also layered on the scalloped circles. My hot glue flowers were painted with nail polish. I bet you can guess what they were layered on! Really love your ideas!
Love those! It's fun to make other shapes too with the glue gun (I can only do simple ones like hearts and stars). I especially like outlined ones! You are a master with those circles with the glue gun! Debbie
omg your a freaking genius. I love this idea I'm new to the paper craft world and I don't have any enamel dots but I have a glue gun and nail polish these turned out super cute thank you so much for sharing
this is a great idea and it got me thinking, what if you tint some glossy accents before dropping it on the parchment! I need to try this! thanks for sharing!
Idea if you are concerned about the nail polish being archival safe, mod-Podge the entire surface, the top and back, it will seal in the polish inside the archival "shell"
I had tried the glossy accents myself before to make enamel dots but spread too much for me. I dont know if it does that to anyone else. I want to try pony or perler beads at some point. I even wondered if puffy paint would work? Has anyone tried puffy paint for enamel dots?
Thanks. I tried this and my DIY "enamel" dots came out great!!! I used color glittered glue sticks to save me the nail polish smell & painting time!!! Thanks again. Be Blessed.
+Rosemarie Moore No. I'm still planning on doing it. I just have been so busy with work I didn't have time to do one this past Sunday. Sorry. I'll be back, I promise!
Hahah I think that too sometimes. I totally wish I could do this full time. Wow wouldn't that be wonderful. But until it pays the bills I'll have to keep going to my 40+ hours a week job. A girl can dream though.

I love this idea, especially when you can’t find a specific enamel dot color, but you have the nail polish color! Thanks

Awesome DIY! I am definitely trying this since I have like 50 bottles of polish! 😉 Tfs

Hahaha don't know about that but thanks for thinking it!
Brilliant..it works. Great for making enamel dots. Some of the liquid pearls can be pricey so this is a great way to save.
Totally and these are super easy to make.
Love this idea! Will have to try it!🐱💕💕💕
Trying these tomorrow! Can't wait! TFS!!!
+Rae Marie Boltwood Hope they worked well.

Great idea. I made rain drops using my hit glue gun, but I never thought to use them to make DIY enamel dots. TFS Be Blessed.

Tori, was this the end of your DIY Embellishments series?
+Rosemarie Moore No. I'm still planning on doing it. I just have been so busy with work I didn't have time to do one this past Sunday. Sorry. I'll be back, I promise!
+Tori Bissell Thank you. I sometimes don't realize you ladies have a life.
Hahah I think that too sometimes. I totally wish I could do this full time. Wow wouldn't that be wonderful. But until it pays the bills I'll have to keep going to my 40+ hours a week job. A girl can dream though.
Do you put this on a page and how will it stay on the paper ? And also I really like your videos.
+Olga Carbonell I do...I glue them down and they stay well (like any other store bought one). Thanks for watching!
