True. I'd rather have them bring back survival mode to buy the characters with in game currency earned throughout the match. My faction is so boring. I can't use technical superstars because you have to keep repeating moves to damage arms and legs and it's basically gambling.
2k needs to bring back season mode for Universe and revamp myrise where we can run around in the back cause pandorium, like case in point Bronson Reed give us control to make our Caw or imported wrestler climb up the ranking to become an legend or a standout Icon depending on the matches we can be a boss in.

One thing that I really want to see is different stage setups - the arenas ALL follow the same structure, so you can't have like classic ECW where the entrance was off toward the corner, or a far smaller length walkway to the ring. It's ALL the same and like at 7:37 it gives us classic arenas that leave huge empty spaces.
They need to do something about these persona cards. I have nearly 40 ? on my roster list. Having purchased the season pass, to still have nearly the same amount of locked wrestlers after all the paid DLC has been released is wild. Previously we complained because My faction would get exclusive characters that were locked to the mode. Those characters are still locked because unlocking them is nearly impossible or a ripoff if you have to spend more money on VC to unlock.

@maelife6516 per model? That's insane. That would range from $200-$400. There's like over 40 of them and most of them are basically just new attires. Maybe $10 per pack...Elite Pack...16Bit Pack, etc. Or if they do a 2nd season pass that includes all the Persona cards, but that would require them to release the initial DLC quicker and not stretch it over 8 or 9 months.
Having purchased the $120 WrestleMania edition I feel having all the persona cards locked behind a paywall is a slap in the face. I don’t know if I can continue supporting this type of greed for future versions with how they are running MyFaction

If Luger had alt-attires for The Narcissus American tour Total Package I would've genuinely been satisfied. I feel like giving Muta and Henning an alt-attire but not Luger was a big miss. But I'm guessing this will be in the next game, but as multiple characters with unique entrances and movesets, as seen with Rey Mysterio or Bray Wyatt. I hope now that Sting is retired, his IP will be available to WWE to use in future games. Having Sting and Luger together seems like something that has been missing since the THQ WCW/NWO games.
This is a very nice DLC but the problem with WWE game is we are buying the same thing every year. I wish they went the Street Fighter method of creating a GREAT base game then adding seasons to add DLC content (Roster, Arenas, Belts, etc.)
Ye or even a fortnite style route where they change item shop based on superstar contracts do say moxley was in wwe still for example have him in the shop until he left to aew same with ricochet make it more constant live updates and you earn the coins from matches etc and have a form of battle pass for an exclusive attires when u reach certain check points so much better needs a purpose to play all the modes I only really play universe mode for streams booking shows and sometimes my rise I hardly do much in the games anymore as there's no purpose to it yes you have xbox achievements but that's not unlocking anything within 2k that's just xbox
Yeah, it's a real solid game, but it IS the same game we've had for many years, which makes me feel like I'm playing an old game on day one. I think I might have played the game for a couple days and then never really picked it up again. Probably skipping 2k25 unless they do something completely new.
GM mode needs to add a lot more I enjoy the mode but we need brand specific ple more superstars for matches royal rumble and elimination chamber against brands I miss how it was in the old games and if we can push for custom titantrons on community creations
Yep. And since Elizabeth is already in the game, they couldn't just have another version of her to manage Luger? And Luger should have an alternate attire for sure with long hair so we aren't stuck with the ponytail.
I weird choice as this was from the dying days of WCW and it doesn't go with 97 DDP and Mr Perfect or 91 Great Muta or 89 Iron Sheik. Still it was cool to get Lex Luger an a new version just wish we had this in a game that still had Goldberg and papa pump scott steiner

I know I'm in the minority here, but I've always preferred Stunning Steve Austin over Stone Cold. Thankfully, there are some solid options for him in community creations.
Having Persona cards there should have been more versions of wrestlers in the game. With regards to WCW, as mentioned earlier, we could have gotten other versions of Steve Austin, Booker T, and Rick Rude, to mention a few. Yea, would've loved to see Raven, Sting & especially Goldberg. I do hope Sting can sign a legends contract, I know he's signed with AEW as well but the ideal scenario for fans & wrestlers would be for them to be able to sign legends contracts with both companies. The fact that we have Great Muta in a WWE game is just absolutely insane to me, honestly. Also could they not have given DDP more Diamond Cutter variations!? That was his entire thing! In terms of who I'd add for a WCW pack, considering they just appeared in the crowd at a recent PLE: I'd want Tully Blanchard and Arn Anderson, reunite 2 of the Four Horsemen / The Brain Busters but in a 2K game.
I was expecting it to be his Persian Club that would be the new weapon for the pack (but getting the Fall Brawl arena instead of a new weapon is a huge upgrade for me)
With 2K pushing all these persona cards, why don't they put in DX? I mean, they have the Triple H and HBK DX motion, yet nothing else. If they can put in something stupid like the 8 bit, CM Punk as Rowdy Piper, and action figures, then they can easily put in DX.
The one game that is highly underrated WWE 2k20 it's overly hated but it's the last game that had a dx theme omg moments an the shield triple powerbomb such a shame they didn't add my time also but it was in 23
The way 2k teases us each year with DX aspects but not the full package (entrances, music, trons, commentary, etc) is absolutely infuriating. It’s all there, just give us everything DX, stop adding little parts in each year but not the full experience.
Truthfully they need to fix the alt attires. Nothing drives me crazy more than when I press for an alt attire and when I start the game I’m getting the default attire.
My biggest gripe with the characters themselves (aside from them all having those god awful boring legends trons) is that, for Mr. Perfect at least, his attire parts aren't selectable in the creation suite. You can edit his outfit, but the parts themselves don't show up in the parts selection (like of you go to edit his singlet, it'll show in the parts selection that he's wearing Chad Gable's singlet, and if you move at all off of it, it'll change to Gable's singlet and can't be changed back without backing out. You can mash through and be able to select his singlet to change it's colors and whatnot at least though). It's a weird oddity, makes me think those parts are "locked" to their MyFaction Wolfpac persona cards
Imagine being a dev and you have to work on a game that comes out every year and you have a very rigid release schedule and rules set up by WWE and don't even get paid that much only to have some random yahoos online call you lazy because they blame you for what WWE and 2K makes you do. If I had a nickle for every post like this telling me you have no idea how games are made I'd be filthy rich.
The one thing I believe most people failed to realize or understand is the fact that 2K is all about money, whether is WWE2K or NBA2K. As long as people continue to spend money (which they will) 2K is going to continue to copy and paste what they’ve been doing for years and years. This isn’t anything new that 2K has been doing and it’s not going to change unless people make a change. As long as they continue to purchase DLC’s and continue to support what 2K is doing, a change for the game is NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. Sorry but it has to be said because 2K is going to keep making money for a product that hasn’t been good since (imo) 2K15. It’s supply and demand. Using The Iron Sheik to beat Hulk Hogan is so much fun but definitely needs a refresh. MyFaction is decent but it needs to be easier to unlock persona cards.
I greatly appreciate 2K adding authenticity like the moves of DDP feel like they were made BY him, from the taunts to the little movements of him symbolling for the Diamond Cutter after that Pancake move he used to do in WCW. And not putting the Muta Alt. skin like he were in WCW with the nWo paint free like it should always be with alternate skins. Luger is my favorite to use, next to Muta and i love in the video you showing Lex with mist in his eyes, complaining to the ref, classic Luger. lol
I don’t watch modern wrestling. So this was my first WWE game since 2k14. I just downloaded a bunch of amazing CAWs from when I enjoyed the product, and this is my first and only DLC. I love it, and I got Curt Hennig Wolfpac. Even though I wanted Macho or BPP lol
I'd love if they added the original WCW ring with the cable ropes, bigger turnbuckles and smaller ring size. But I know it's pretty unrealistic because they'd have to figure out all the physics all over again.

For me nope all the great and dope attires are once again locked behind myfaction like NWO and WolfPac. *So nope what's the point next year WWE servers will be closed for 24 so why lock all the cool contents and unlockables behind MyFaction* why focus so much on improving myfaction something that'll be irrelevant when WWE 2K25 comes out. Especially if WWE 2K25 has better roster and legends being unlocked like 40 year of Wrestlemania DLC on 24. And WWE 2k25 unlockables through season pass and showcase a and more match types will draw consumers in immediately. Skyrocketing WWE 2k25 sales. While very few people will play WWE 2k24 so why does 2K not improve online multiplayer, give us more hair styles being able to give us more better showcase of wrestlers like CM Punk and Wyatt. And give us create a story improve GM mode and universe and make gameplay changes from combo breakers. Which is button mashing from light and heavy attacks that jumble into a unsavoury mess of combinations. Instead give us a chain wrestling no lock up when performing grapple moves from WWE 2k19, styles and standing strikes with 1 button with directional analog stick. Should be brought back. For example tap strike and anywhere on directional stick to perform light strikes press and hold strike button and move the analog stick in any direction to perform heavy attack built in with strikes and combinations in previous WWE 2k20, 19, etc gameplay mechanics back. And stop focusing on Myfaction so much it'll cause the fans to leave WWE 2k games one day. Because If WWE 2K25 uses that same strategy which they will then all that work on Myfaction they did on WWE 2k24 will become meaningless as soon as WWE 2k25 drops so don't focus on "MF" and focus on other things please and make it 100% better!
My only main complaint with 2k dlc this year was the pat pack, im still annoyed we got that i havent touched it once but i digress i just hope next year 2k gives us stuff we actually want. And they need to figure out a hair way to get unlockable wrestlers from my faction i dont even want to grind to get them it just feels pointless
Personally, I feel little cheated. I got the WM version and it seemed it had more DLC advertised but on release there didn't seem to be much (not counting the lacking match list for the 40 yrs of WM). The DLC a packs seem off, earlier packs were ok (cool having ECW Pack) but Pat MacAfee Pack (all the negative comments from his friends), All those personal cards (ignoring MyFaction for a moment) and Bray Wyatt pack being sold separately. It felt like we were cheated more than anything, it's not been a bad game but I don't feel like I got my moneys worth tbh. The motion animation on cloth have always been iffy, it has improved but they always seem like they need to attach to something (coats half the time are attached near the legs etc.). Arenas, I'd like to have seen the 2nd version of Nitro area, other legends you mentioned would be cool plus alt for some characters that appeared on ECW and WCW. Sadly though they would just would put them in as persona cards....
I just recently purchased the game and pack on sale (Delux edition, 40 years of Wrestmania, Wyatt DLC) spent 80 bucks in total. The 139 for the Wyatt version was ridiculous.
I personally think 2K did a great job with this DLC pack simply by adding Mr. Perfect to it. However there is 3 things I feel 2k should have done. First thing, 2k made Mr. Perfect's singlet and knee pads exclusively to him and can not be found within the creation suite (that's the only flaw) The other 2 things regard DDP, I like the model it looks awesome but they should have given us the short hair version of DDP from WWE 13 along with his It's me theme. Other then that, 2k knocked it out of the park with this DLC
Its the one pack I have been waiting for. Muta and Perfect are my favourites so far. But then all attires for Hennig are content damaged on CC 😂. Definitely wont be getting 2K25 on launch next year. Alot about this year I didn't enjoy , anyway that's a wrap for 2K24.

100%, i think this is the best pack of the 5. You've finally got Iron Sheik as Iron Sheik and not that crappy Col. Mustafa gimmick. Mr. Perfect, DDP and Luger are very welcome returns. And Great Muta making his debut into the series is awesome. I hope this opens the door to more non-wwe characters like Jushin Liger and New Jack
The pack itself is good. The concept of the pack is not. When I think WCW, I don’t think Mr. Perfect or Iron Sheik. For consistency’s sake, those slots should’ve been people synonymous with WCW. Would’ve been a good time to bring in some Horsemen like AA, Tully, Barry, or Pillman. Sid or Kevin Sullivan are good options too. There’s so many choices and they went with people whose biggest career achievements weren’t WCW.
My first thought when Assemble mentioned adding two more WCW guys to the pack was The Nasty Boys (Brian Knobbs and Jerry Sags). As honestly, I wouldn't mind having them in the game, and based on Knobbs' close friendship with Hogan, I'm shocked we haven't had them in a game yet.
The WCW Pack is without question my favorite of all the packs, I've been waiting for it since release day. I.... loved WCW. What can I say? As for who I would like going forward? I know Sting being with AEW is a fly in the ointment... but... you need him. Ric Flair, you also need. I'd love to have the Road Warriors, especially now that you have WarGames. Sid is a definite need. I'd want WCW versions of Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage, (pre-nWo) as well, with their WCW themes. Brian Pillman as well.
Should be 10 + superstars per dlc pack and 1 or 2 new arenas per pack. Also have creation part packs for caw mode and create an arena… like have actual name plates for smackdown’99 for example and all the intros and stuff in the game for older ppvs.
I was pretty stoked we finally got the diamond cutter updated. But then let down that there wasn’t more diamond cutter variations just the other cutters to work with.
They really need to.. also Curt used it as a catch finisher in real life.. he’s ALWAYS sitting down after a normal match victory.. it’s dumb.. they need to improve their approach to this legend.

I think they did this version of Lex Luger because this is the only version of him we haven't got over the years. We had his early 90s WCW version a couple years ago, his Lex Express version and his white boots version so I think maybe that's what they were going for
I think the funniest part is the online connection is so spotty. The fact they want people to be on myfaction yet still it can't stay stable means they're shooting themselves in the foot
100% agree with you on the lazy trons. I redid Angles Trons completely, for example. Made him a custom Tron and used the USA themes. The constant one tron with different names looks so dull and generic. I don't think it would be that difficult to come up with unique looking trons even for older wrestlers. It reeks of "we can't be bothered, here's the bare minimum."
I have barely touched this game from April just want the gm mode to get a lil revamp want it like 06 07 and 08 like joint paper per views and like royal rumble or money In the bank that would be nice
You know what I was thinking would be kind of cool for them to put in one of the future games would be like the Monday night Wars as a showcase mode. You could do like the same amount of matches they did for this year's WrestleMania showcase you know. Then that would be a way for them to possibly bring in a lot more WCW people and some older WWE ones that might not have been in before

Man I really want them to make the war games arenas have two rings when it isn't a war games match. The second ring magically spawning in and out twice a show is so emersion breaking and a two ring arena would make for some awesome matches
Honestly, as someone who fought some wars with 2K24: I think the DLC was solid. The new arena is ok, tthough I think if they added two rings for singles matches too that would have been crazy (but you need room to improve on for 2K25, so it's ok). I think all the characters look good, but obiously with a new weapon added every single DLC not having one in this was kinda disapointing, but not too big of a problem, since you got a new arena (and I love the visuals, the ring especially looks fantastic) and there wasn't a very obvious weapon that needed to be included (like having Jimmy's megaphone, Pat's football, Carlito's apple or the ECW themed weapons). And the new moves and taunts are good (especially the unique Sheik spitting taunt and the new Back Suplex 9)
Not only did they deliver, but this pack seriously should have been the 2nd one released. It got me to play the game again, because I've been wanting an '89 Muta FOREVER, and it cool to have a WCW arena War Games.
Honestly, at the beginning of the year, the AI could carry matches. Now, the only thing they like doing is carry holds to the turnbuckles or ropes and 1/3 chance of them irish whipping you out to the ringside
Shame there isn't any additional weapons because that version of Lex Luger had a weapon which was a dumbbell bar that he called the Lex Flexer. He was also paired Elizabeth during this time so they could've included an alternate version of her to go with him.
It's a solid dlc pack. Although I have only one slight issue. The ramp camera doesn't work in the Fall Brawl arena in any match even though I've always got that set to on. Other than that it's pretty good.
If it were up to me (and keeping within reason) a few WCW wrestlers I think could have been added: Stevie Ray - been in before & you already have Booker & Sherri. Also works with nWo as well as feuds with Steiners & Outsiders. Raven - would have been great as a crossover w/ ECW & WCW. Sets up feuds w/ Page. Kenyon - with recent footage of Mortis in WWE maybe he’ll make the cut next year. Bam Bam - works for all 3 promotions and if had Kenyon could have done Jersey Triad. Konnan - add to nWo and even better Wolfpac😁 Buff Bagwell - nWo or, OR… bonus 5 on 1 backstage brawl! (lol, ok, I got caught up😅)
I Wish me for the Next Games, that in Every DLC is a little Show case, to learn something over Superstars, they was not in your Time or to revisit Storys
Not in regards of WcW, but as a legend in general: IRS is missing! They could have released him with the Bray Wyatt pack because the guy is his father and so it makes sense.
Remember when Demon Finn was an actual Alt Attire for Finn back in 2K16? Makes me real mad that to this day, we not only didn't expand on that, but outright abandoned it... (P.S. They need to do sequels to DLCs for future games. Like an ECW Pack II or something in 2K25)
If they got rid of MyFaction we would probably be able get better Arena Stages, Stage ramps, refresh weapon selections.

Diamond cutter is Primo. The new animations are great. Trey Miguel has been doing some mocap for 2k and he’s really delivering some of the moves.

This is a very nice DLC but the problem with WWE game is we are buying the same thing every year. I wish they went the Street Fighter method of creating a GREAT base game then adding seasons to add DLC content (Roster, Arenas, Belts, etc.)
Ye or even a fortnite style route where they change item shop based on superstar contracts do say moxley was in wwe still for example have him in the shop until he left to aew same with ricochet make it more constant live updates and you earn the coins from matches etc and have a form of battle pass for an exclusive attires when u reach certain check points so much better needs a purpose to play all the modes I only really play universe mode for streams booking shows and sometimes my rise I hardly do much in the games anymore as there's no purpose to it yes you have xbox achievements but that's not unlocking anything within 2k that's just xbox

Yeah, it's a real solid game, but it IS the same game we've had for many years, which makes me feel like I'm playing an old game on day one. I think I might have played the game for a couple days and then never really picked it up again. Probably skipping 2k25 unless they do something completely new.

GM mode needs to add a lot more I enjoy the mode but we need brand specific ple more superstars for matches royal rumble and elimination chamber against brands I miss how it was in the old games and if we can push for custom titantrons on community creations

I weird choice as this was from the dying days of WCW and it doesn't go with 97 DDP and Mr Perfect or 91 Great Muta or 89 Iron Sheik. Still it was cool to get Lex Luger an a new version just wish we had this in a game that still had Goldberg and papa pump scott steiner

Having Persona cards there should have been more versions of wrestlers in the game. With regards to WCW, as mentioned earlier, we could have gotten other versions of Steve Austin, Booker T, and Rick Rude, to mention a few. Yea, would've loved to see Raven, Sting & especially Goldberg. I do hope Sting can sign a legends contract, I know he's signed with AEW as well but the ideal scenario for fans & wrestlers would be for them to be able to sign legends contracts with both companies. The fact that we have Great Muta in a WWE game is just absolutely insane to me, honestly. Also could they not have given DDP more Diamond Cutter variations!? That was his entire thing! In terms of who I'd add for a WCW pack, considering they just appeared in the crowd at a recent PLE: I'd want Tully Blanchard and Arn Anderson, reunite 2 of the Four Horsemen / The Brain Busters but in a 2K game.
We definitely need a Four Horsemen DLC w/ Sid Vicious & Dean Malenko variants.

With 2K pushing all these persona cards, why don't they put in DX? I mean, they have the Triple H and HBK DX motion, yet nothing else. If they can put in something stupid like the 8 bit, CM Punk as Rowdy Piper, and action figures, then they can easily put in DX.
The one game that is highly underrated WWE 2k20 it's overly hated but it's the last game that had a dx theme omg moments an the shield triple powerbomb such a shame they didn't add my time also but it was in 23

The way 2k teases us each year with DX aspects but not the full package (entrances, music, trons, commentary, etc) is absolutely infuriating. It’s all there, just give us everything DX, stop adding little parts in each year but not the full experience.
Truthfully they need to fix the alt attires. Nothing drives me crazy more than when I press for an alt attire and when I start the game I’m getting the default attire.

My biggest gripe with the characters themselves (aside from them all having those god awful boring legends trons) is that, for Mr. Perfect at least, his attire parts aren't selectable in the creation suite. You can edit his outfit, but the parts themselves don't show up in the parts selection (like of you go to edit his singlet, it'll show in the parts selection that he's wearing Chad Gable's singlet, and if you move at all off of it, it'll change to Gable's singlet and can't be changed back without backing out. You can mash through and be able to select his singlet to change it's colors and whatnot at least though). It's a weird oddity, makes me think those parts are "locked" to their MyFaction Wolfpac persona cards

Imagine being a dev and you have to work on a game that comes out every year and you have a very rigid release schedule and rules set up by WWE and don't even get paid that much only to have some random yahoos online call you lazy because they blame you for what WWE and 2K makes you do.

The one thing I believe most people failed to realize or understand is the fact that 2K is all about money, whether is WWE2K or NBA2K. As long as people continue to spend money (which they will) 2K is going to continue to copy and paste what they’ve been doing for years and years. This isn’t anything new that 2K has been doing and it’s not going to change unless people make a change. As long as they continue to purchase DLC’s and continue to support what 2K is doing, a change for the game is NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. Sorry but it has to be said because 2K is going to keep making money for a product that hasn’t been good since (imo) 2K15. It’s supply and demand. I greatly appreciate 2K adding authenticity like the moves of DDP feel like they were made BY him, from the taunts to the little movements of him symbolling for the Diamond Cutter after that Pancake move he used to do in WCW.
And not putting the Muta Alt. skin like he were in WCW with the nWo paint free like it should always be with alternate skins. Luger is my favorite to use, next to Muta and i love in the video you showing Lex with mist in his eyes, complaining to the ref, classic Luger. lol
I don’t watch modern wrestling. So this was my first WWE game since 2k14. I just downloaded a bunch of amazing CAWs from when I enjoyed the product, and this is my first and only DLC. I love it, and I got Curt Hennig Wolfpac. Even though I wanted Macho or BPP lol
I'd love if they added the original WCW ring with the cable ropes, bigger turnbuckles and smaller ring size. But I know it's pretty unrealistic because they'd have to figure out all the physics all over again.

why focus so much on improving myfaction something that'll be irrelevant when WWE 2K25 comes out.
Especially if WWE 2K25 has better roster and legends being unlocked like 40 year of Wrestlemania DLC on 24. And WWE 2k25 unlockables through season pass and showcase a and more match types will draw consumers in immediately. Skyrocketing WWE 2k25 sales. While very few people will play WWE 2k24 so why does 2K not improve online multiplayer, give us more hair styles being able to give us more better showcase of wrestlers like CM Punk and Wyatt.
And give us create a story improve GM mode and universe and make gameplay changes from combo breakers. Which is button mashing from light and heavy attacks that jumble into a unsavoury mess of combinations.
Instead give us a chain wrestling no lock up when performing grapple moves from WWE 2k19, styles and standing strikes with 1 button with directional analog stick. Should be brought back.
For example tap strike and anywhere on directional stick to perform light strikes press and hold strike button and move the analog stick in any direction to perform heavy attack built in with strikes and combinations in previous WWE 2k20, 19, etc gameplay mechanics back.
And stop focusing on Myfaction so much it'll cause the fans to leave WWE 2k games one day.
Because If WWE 2K25 uses that same strategy which they will then all that work on Myfaction they did on WWE 2k24 will become meaningless as soon as WWE 2k25 drops so don't focus on "MF" and focus on other things please and make it 100% better!

My only main complaint with 2k dlc this year was the pat pack, im still annoyed we got that i havent touched it once but i digress i just hope next year 2k gives us stuff we actually want. And they need to figure out a hair way to get unlockable wrestlers from my faction i dont even want to grind to get them it just feels pointless

I’m a Texans fan, so naturally I hate Pat McAfee. Least they didn’t go the Arquette route and put a title on him.
Personally, I feel little cheated. I got the WM version and it seemed it had more DLC advertised but on release there didn't seem to be much (not counting the lacking match list for the 40 yrs of WM). The DLC a packs seem off, earlier packs were ok (cool having ECW Pack) but Pat MacAfee Pack (all the negative comments from his friends), All those personal cards (ignoring MyFaction for a moment) and Bray Wyatt pack being sold separately. It felt like we were cheated more than anything, it's not been a bad game but I don't feel like I got my moneys worth tbh.
The motion animation on cloth have always been iffy, it has improved but they always seem like they need to attach to something (coats half the time are attached near the legs etc.).
Arenas, I'd like to have seen the 2nd version of Nitro area, other legends you mentioned would be cool plus alt for some characters that appeared on ECW and WCW. Sadly though they would just would put them in as persona cards....
I just recently purchased the game and pack on sale (Delux edition, 40 years of Wrestmania, Wyatt DLC) spent 80 bucks in total. The 139 for the Wyatt version was ridiculous.

I personally think 2K did a great job with this DLC pack simply by adding Mr. Perfect to it. However there is 3 things I feel 2k should have done. First thing, 2k made Mr. Perfect's singlet and knee pads exclusively to him and can not be found within the creation suite (that's the only flaw) The other 2 things regard DDP, I like the model it looks awesome but they should have given us the short hair version of DDP from WWE 13 along with his It's me theme. Other then that, 2k knocked it out of the park with this DLC

Its the one pack I have been waiting for. Muta and Perfect are my favourites so far. But then all attires for Hennig are content damaged on CC 😂. Definitely wont be getting 2K25 on launch next year. Alot about this year I didn't enjoy , anyway that's a wrap for 2K24.

100%, i think this is the best pack of the 5. You've finally got Iron Sheik as Iron Sheik and not that crappy Col. Mustafa gimmick. Mr. Perfect, DDP and Luger are very welcome returns.
And Great Muta making his debut into the series is awesome. I hope this opens the door to more non-wwe characters like Jushin Liger and New Jack

The pack itself is good. The concept of the pack is not. When I think WCW, I don’t think Mr. Perfect or Iron Sheik. For consistency’s sake, those slots should’ve been people synonymous with WCW. Would’ve been a good time to bring in some Horsemen like AA, Tully, Barry, or Pillman. Sid or Kevin Sullivan are good options too. There’s so many choices and they went with people whose biggest career achievements weren’t WCW.
My first thought when Assemble mentioned adding two more WCW guys to the pack was The Nasty Boys (Brian Knobbs and Jerry Sags). As honestly, I wouldn't mind having them in the game, and based on Knobbs' close friendship with Hogan, I'm shocked we haven't had them in a game yet.
The WCW Pack is without question my favorite of all the packs, I've been waiting for it since release day. I.... loved WCW. What can I say? As for who I would like going forward? I know Sting being with AEW is a fly in the ointment... but... you need him. Ric Flair, you also need. I'd love to have the Road Warriors, especially now that you have WarGames. Sid is a definite need. I'd want WCW versions of Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage, (pre-nWo) as well, with their WCW themes. Brian Pillman as well.
I also want the nWo Souled Out arena back in. I loved that arena.
A WCW pack without Sting just feels wrong. Will problably not get an official Sting in a WWE game for a while.

This was the holy Grail of dlc packs for this year. It just came way to late.
Should be 10 + superstars per dlc pack and 1 or 2 new arenas per pack. Also have creation part packs for caw mode and create an arena… like have actual name plates for smackdown’99 for example and all the intros and stuff in the game for older ppvs.

I think they did this version of Lex Luger because this is the only version of him we haven't got over the years. We had his early 90s WCW version a couple years ago, his Lex Express version and his white boots version so I think maybe that's what they were going for
I think the funniest part is the online connection is so spotty. The fact they want people to be on myfaction yet still it can't stay stable means they're shooting themselves in the foot

I redid Angles Trons completely, for example. Made him a custom Tron and used the USA themes.
The constant one tron with different names looks so dull and generic. I don't think it would be that difficult to come up with unique looking trons even for older wrestlers. It reeks of "we can't be bothered, here's the bare minimum."
I have barely touched this game from April just want the gm mode to get a lil revamp want it like 06 07 and 08 like joint paper per views and like royal rumble or money In the bank that would be nice

You know what I was thinking would be kind of cool for them to put in one of the future games would be like the Monday night Wars as a showcase mode. You could do like the same amount of matches they did for this year's WrestleMania showcase you know. Then that would be a way for them to possibly bring in a lot more WCW people and some older WWE ones that might not have been in before

Man I really want them to make the war games arenas have two rings when it isn't a war games match. The second ring magically spawning in and out twice a show is so emersion breaking and a two ring arena would make for some awesome matches

Honestly, as someone who fought some wars with 2K24: I think the DLC was solid. The new arena is ok, tthough I think if they added two rings for singles matches too that would have been crazy (but you need room to improve on for 2K25, so it's ok). I think all the characters look good, but obiously with a new weapon added every single DLC not having one in this was kinda disapointing, but not too big of a problem, since you got a new arena (and I love the visuals, the ring especially looks fantastic) and there wasn't a very obvious weapon that needed to be included (like having Jimmy's megaphone, Pat's football, Carlito's apple or the ECW themed weapons). And the new moves and taunts are good (especially the unique Sheik spitting taunt and the new Back Suplex 9)
For future DLC, I'd like them to lean into the then, now, forever idea. All dlc has a mix of NXT, Main and Legend superstars.

Not only did they deliver, but this pack seriously should have been the 2nd one released. It got me to play the game again, because I've been wanting an '89 Muta FOREVER, and it cool to have a WCW arena War Games.
Honestly, at the beginning of the year, the AI could carry matches. Now, the only thing they like doing is carry holds to the turnbuckles or ropes and 1/3 chance of them irish whipping you out to the ringside
One big thing they missed out, was not including an entrance for Mr Perfect with Bobby Heenan
Shame there isn't any additional weapons because that version of Lex Luger had a weapon which was a dumbbell bar that he called the Lex Flexer. He was also paired Elizabeth during this time so they could've included an alternate version of her to go with him.
Overall reception of the wcw pack seems good, maybe showcase will be wwe vs wcw
It's a solid dlc pack. Although I have only one slight issue. The ramp camera doesn't work in the Fall Brawl arena in any match even though I've always got that set to on. Other than that it's pretty good.
Fall brawl ple in universe mode when a wargames match is on event I get survivor series wargames arena not fall brawl arena
Can't wait to recreate all those classic Iron Sheik WCW matches.
If it were up to me (and keeping within reason) a few WCW wrestlers I think could have been added:
Stevie Ray - been in before & you already have Booker & Sherri. Also works with nWo as well as feuds with Steiners & Outsiders.
Raven - would have been great as a crossover w/ ECW & WCW. Sets up feuds w/ Page.
Kenyon - with recent footage of Mortis in WWE maybe he’ll make the cut next year.
Bam Bam - works for all 3 promotions and if had Kenyon could have done Jersey Triad.
Konnan - add to nWo and even better Wolfpac😁
Buff Bagwell - nWo or, OR… bonus 5 on 1 backstage brawl! (lol, ok, I got caught up😅)

Remember when Demon Finn was an actual Alt Attire for Finn back in 2K16? Makes me real mad that to this day, we not only didn't expand on that, but outright abandoned it...
(P.S. They need to do sequels to DLCs for future games. Like an ECW Pack II or something in 2K25)
