    You are right not all the kids will enjoy in Disney land with all this facility. My boy always gets scared with the hights until he was 3 but we never gave up bringing him in such. All of sudden when he was around 4/5 he became one of the Fairless kids out of all. Thanks for sharing such an inspiring story that every parent to watch.

    Really timely video for us. We're heading to Tokyo Disney in a few weeks. We might even get one of those tickets for after 3pm. Thanks for the tips Tina 👍

      Oh, and how strict are they on the under 4 years for free? Our son turns 4 next week. So he'll be just over 4 when we visit. Do you think we'll be able to sneak him in for free?

    • @HangryByNature
      @HangryByNature  6 лет назад

      OMG! so jelly! i want to go back so bad. The fam miss Disneyland and Japan. haha if you do try sneak him in, fingers crossed it works out!

      On a sidenote.. we bought our tickets online and never got questioned when they scanned our tickets. So it's always worth a try, and if they do ask.. worst that can happen is you just have to buy a ticket there for your son. There was hardly a queue for tickets (on a Tuesday) when we were there so getting into Disneyland doesn't take that long at all.

    Great tips! We unfortunately didn’t get to bring our two year old in our last trip to Tokyo, but we really want to take her back so she can experience it. Amazing city and Disneyland will definitely be on our list.

    Wow, Tokyo Disneyland entry is cheaper than USJ!
    Good tips, Tina. Especially about bringing your own snacks. You can also pre-purchase tickets at the Disney Stores in Tokyo. Good tip about the bus instead of the train too.
    I actually did Disneyland and DisneySea on the same day using the afternoon/evening ticket. I'd been to Disneyworld as a kid so spent the day at Sea and evening in Land. Good if you only have a day and want a taste of both.

    Hiya Hangry By Nature, I think you would get along with Yen very well you both have boss attitudes hahahahaa. Disney land is expensive but we still feel like it is worth it. We waited all day for like one ride last time we went though T_T the parades were our highlight too cause that's all we could see hahahaha

      Yeah we have been to Tokyo and HK disneyland :) Prefer HK just cause it is like a 30 min wait for rides.

      Hi there! Thanks so much for watching and I'm glad you found it helpful :) We were there in May. The only thing you have to try and plan around is Golden Week in Japan. It's a huge holiday and you certainly don't want to go to Disneyland during this time. We were in Kyoto during Golden Week and it was absolutely crazyyyyyy and packed with people.

    Hopefully next year this pandemic ends, may be next year my family will visit tokyo my only concern is the double stroller bringing around tokyo is okay specialy in train we have the same age range of my kids

    • @HangryByNature
      @HangryByNature  4 года назад +1

      me too! i think they will also shift the tokyo olympics to 2021. You could get away with a double stroller if you avoid peak hour for train rides. depending on the ages of your kids, could alternate between carry on and using 1 stroller. This is how we did it and our boys are 2 years apart (2 and 4 yo). If they are big enough alternate 1 stroller for naps and rest only otherwise walk.

    Can you do a video focusing on the travel to disney land tokyo? I'm concerned about traveling from the airport to the hotel without having our carseat with us.

    • @HangryByNature
      @HangryByNature  4 года назад

      Hi Dorothy, are you catching a cab or renting a car to the hotel? I wouldn't recommend bringing a car seat since you'll most likely be travelling on the subway or rail most of the time since it's so cheap, easy and connects everywhere. Taxis are super expensive in Japan. You can take the Disneyland Tokyo bus which will take you directly there and no car seat is required for babies or toddlers.

    Great video. Hows the use of credit cards vs cash in the park? Do the little cafes take CC? I'll assume all cart vendors take cash only.

    • @HangryByNature
      @HangryByNature  6 лет назад +1

      Thanks for the feedback and good question! We personally used cash throughout the park, i think only in the gift store is where we used our CC. I looked into this further for you - found this at the Disneyland FAQ site:
      "JCB and other major credit cards, as well as major debit cards and major branded prepaid cards, are accepted at Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea.
      - Some credit cards issued outside of Japan by MasterCard may not be accepted.
      - Some debit cards issued by J-Debit or China UnionPay may not be accepted.
      Credit and debit cards cannot be used in the following cases.
      - At balloon vendors and food carts
      - When purchasing stamps, gift cards, meal vouchers, IC telephone cards, etc."
      Your assumption is right that carts only take cash. So pretty sure all cafes and shops take CC. We did find generally it's best to carry cash in Japan as not all places take CC. Hope this helps 😀👍

    Are double strollers allowed in this park ? Did you see any there ?

    • @HangryByNature
      @HangryByNature  5 лет назад

      Hi Toni! I can't imagine why they wouldn't be allowed. I can't recall seeing any but that's because Japanese people don't really own double strollers given the limited space they have in their apartments, their stroller are usually super compact. Sorry I can't give you a solid answer, but in any case, you can also rent strollers at Disneyland.

    Thanks heaps for these tips. How did you deal with nap times with your little ones while you were there. Did they sleep? In a pram/carrier? Just curious, I am going with a 3yr old and a 6m old

    • @HangryByNature
      @HangryByNature  5 лет назад +1

      You're most welcome! Happy to hear we can help!
      That was really tricky with nap time. It took us a while to convince our oldest who was 3 at the time. We put him in the pram, but he kept getting back up to see what was going on lolll a real bad case of fomo haha. Everntually we went to grab some snacks and went somewhere somewhat quiter to let him sleep while we ate. Worked out...eventually.
      I would recommend bringing a pram to help carry stuff and alternate kids to rest if they need. It's a long day so try to conserve your own energy. Hope you have a fantastic time there!

    • @melgriffith9293
      @melgriffith9293 5 лет назад

      Hangry By Nature good to know we are not the only people with a 3yr old who resists naps 😅 We’ll take a pram and carrier for the baby and hire a stroller for the 3yr old o think.
      I am loving your videos... even though we have been to Japan, doing it with kids is a whole different trip for us, so I am addicted to your videos and am watching them one after another 😁👏🏼

    Sounds like you didn't give an overall experience and was it worth the admission with kids, but it does sound like it was worth it. I think my kid visited Disneyland more times then myself alone combined. Did he remembered much as a baby/toddler from his experience? Not so much.

    • @HangryByNature
      @HangryByNature  6 лет назад

      Thanks for pointing that out! must remember to conclude for future vids. We found the kids had an amazing time and totally worth that money. We find our toddler still remembers and often talks about Disneyland. But for the baby, probably not (can't even ask him cos he doesn't talk yet haha)

    Did you stay near Disney? It seems like Tokyo Disney is in it's area away from so many other places in Tokyo. Where would you recommend staying? We plan on covering Disney and Disney Sea over 4days and 3 nights. I'm struggling with spending so much $$ on the Big Disney Hotels vs. a smaller hotel in the area. Thank you for your response!!

    • @HangryByNature
      @HangryByNature  5 лет назад

      We stayed more cental tokyo and tried to tackle Disneyland in one day. Unfortunately we didn't get to go to Disneysea. Totally understand about the costs of the resort hotels. For us if we were to do it again, we would have done them in 2 days and stayed one night at a resort hotel. 1 day for disneyland and 1 day for disneysea. That's based on maximising time spent at the parks and also the ages of our kids at the time (1 and 3). I think 2 days would totally take it out of them and ourselves haha. I always feel when it comes to money, work with what you have and budget the best you can. Going to any disney is a costly activity but I'm sure your kids will enjoy it as long as you get a chance to go. The best thing about Japan is that there so many wonderful activities to do and very budget friendly. We love Japan for that reason. Hope that helps about how we would approach it. Thanks for watching!

    Hi! I’m going in a couple weeks with my 10 month old. Which rides don’t have a height requirements?
    She can sit unassisted but not sure which rides she will be able to go on
