My budgie laid eggs too
They are all fertile 🐥
But it's her second clutch..
She started laying right after the first clutch before the babies could even eat on their own properly 🙁
The same happened with me lol
But now the babies from the second clutch are grown up ready to start eating on their own
In the first clutch only two eggs were fertile from 4eggs in which only two eggs could hatch but only one baby could make it up till its full growth😔
And in the second clutch there were total five eggs from which 4 were fertile.
From which the 4th baby could not survive and the three could make it up

I know overbreeding is not good for their health thats why I removed the nest boxes once the babies got out of it

Hello brother, thanks for sharing the information with us I have the same problem my birds. Laying eggs without hatching the fourth stage, I chose them from the cage for the female to rest, but I was surprised by an egg that she laid in the salon
My budgie also layed 6 eggs from that 2 hatched I took care of the eggs and taking the care of baby budgies by learning from your videos thank you very much for the information
My one issue with this kind of breeding videos, is that it seems to encourage a lot of other people (especially kids) to breed their own birds irresponsibly. And there are already so many homeless budgies out there, that people really shouldn't be breeding more if they are not educated enough on that and are just breeding pet store birds. There are so many people on similar videos asking how to make their birds breed and it's sad. The budgie community really needs to start speaking up against irresponsible backyard breeding, cause it's hurting so many birds.

Alan can you answer my question my budgie is in danger not only it's not laying any eggs since she layed her 2nd egg but she is sitting on them causing the eggs to be breaked. I want to ask you a question please, yesterday I lost my first budgie ever 💔 my heart is broken.
She died while mating with the male budgie, they were mating then she start doing a strange sound I never heard it before I thought it was because of mating because I’m a new owner but she suddenly start closing her eyes then died 😭💔 then the male budgie stopped mating after she died!
I don’t know what’s the problem here i was searching if the same happened to anyone else but I found nothing, I gave them the best environment and everything.. also when I touched her to do a CPR hoping she will come alive 💔 her body has a fever.
I don’t know what age they are probably between 7 to 9 months..
My question what wrong did I do! I’m going to bring a new female for the male budgie so he don’t feel depressed but I want to know my mistake! Should I separate them or what?
I think your budgies were way too young to breed that's why i think she died

Hi Alex, hope all ur budgies doing fine. I have a question, i have a pair budgies and they have 5 babies in box, but three of them are bigger now and two are small ones. I am worry about small babies, can I shift small babies to another box in a same cage? Note that i have only a pair of parents budgies!
My Budgie just laid her first two eggs and she is not sitting on them but she does check on them, and its been almost a week. When i candled them tonight i don't see any life. has it been long enough now that i should remove them? i don't think there is any baby in their. and she is already breeding again with her mate. Since they are new to this, they act like young kids and are always doing it.

Maybe Nibbler is stressed from the other budgies passing away Nibbler was Cookies first love even though she paired with Mr Snowflake she might be missing her friend and isn't Jack and Jill her mom and dad she might be still mourning her parents and her best friend Cookie missing them so very much and I'm sure the fight with Angel over the nest box didn't help either. I hope she will be ok and I'm just glad she passed the eggs safely, What if Nibbler and Mr Snowflake laid eggs on Halloween that would be super cool I would keep an eye on Nibbler I heard that some people offer their budgies cooked fish or cooked chicken for protien during mating season and molting season to give them extra protien I was going to offer my budgies salmon but I ate my salmon so when we had chicken I gave it to them to help boost molting season I had my mom boil one chicken breast with no seasoning and mixed it with veggies pellets and some seeds to get them to eat it I give them a variety in their diets I plan on getting 2 more budgies next month I love them so much before I decided getting budgies I saw your channels a few years ago and I learned so much about budgies I finally said I am getting budgies this year my husband and my mom went to the pet store I only wanted 4 the 2nd trip my mom said there was an extra and I didn't care I said buy her too no babies left behind In the Petstore that was Temmie my female and she is yellow white grey blue and she has small patches of green on her back I think she might be a rainbow budgie she is a feisty girl she acts mean she'll act tough like she's going to bite when she does bite you she'll calm down once she sees your intentions but she is a sweetheart if you pick her up with a perch and put it to your face she will give you kisses and lick your face after Squeaky passed ( he was one of the original 2 I got ) Jihi my yellow olive green and white budgie was very depressed for awhile she would bully my other 3 budgies her and Temmie are best friends after 3 weeks I said ok I will get 2 more we have 6 Stolas and Loki were the 2 that came with Temmie and they are both sky blue the next 2 I bought one is a cobalt blue with a dark factor that is Sora and the other one is a common green with turquoise on her chest budgie Link but Sora and Link might be females instead of Link I'm naming her Saria I have to many females I have 4 females and 2 males I have to even out the male to female ratio just to stop the fights I plan on breeding them eventually but not right now I am doing tons of research and we need a bigger place to live too I could put 10 budgies in the cage I have plus toys and perches if I get any more budgies I will upgrade my cage I will get a seperate cages for my males and females I also need to get my breeding license too and learn basic veterinary care for Avian vets I need to make sure they are not related before I do anything .I learned so much from you Budgie World Salvadora Budgie Denny the budgie and many more I am physically disabled so I am with my budgies 24/7 and I have help from my husband

Inbreeding and outbreeding. Genetics from parents as some are mated with there siblings creating infertility in both male and females most of the time.
Hi, I want advice about a situation with my budgies, two days ago I went out to an appointment, I left my budgies alone in their cage when I got home the cage was on the floor and nest was upside down, suddenly I realized my male budgie has gone, now I have a female budgie alone pregnant with three eggs and two babies already out, can she take care of them alone ? please help me.
She can take care of them but you might have to hand feed them if the mom doesn't so be ready..
For me the mom stopped feeding the babies and only the dad fed them

What are the names of this breeding pair? Are they Nibbler and Mr Snowflake again? If so, for some reason Mr Snowflake looks different to me now- like his feathers have a slightly deeper blue colour that's even prettier than before. As for the female, you have so many green and yellow budgies, I struggle to tell them apart, though I particularly like mooncake and stubby.

I don’t think candling the eggs or light is good. She’ll I think that because we did that with our cocktail eggs and only three had life but when they were supposed to hatch they didn’t so we opened and found out they died.
So sorry for Nibbler. I hope Nibbler gets fertile eggs next time.

You can just wait for 18-23 days and it will hatch if it's fertile 🐣
If you want to check them make sure your hands are clean and take the eggs out of the nest carefully and put in a dish covered with tissue paper or something and carefully check the eggs with a light from phone and keep it back inside the nest

Mr.Snowflake never got fully tamed. No matter what I do, he is lost budgie found on the street. God knows what happend to him before.
