Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised :)

  • @theodt

    1. Knowing that her beauty flows from her inner character, rather than her external appearance
    2. She sees a man's strength as a blessing rather than a threat
    3. She is encouraging rather than quarrelsome
But watch the video to see the justifications anyway. Bless you, reader!

I think women become harsh after so much hurt and disappointment. Some are just mean but most of the time they were sweet and then constant hurt changed her. That is why our focus must be Christ

God gave man the power over the woman for thousands of years but man exploited it. That is why now we are facing so many problems. Who is controlling porn....men. Porn is violent and make a man think woman as a commodity. Men should come up and stop doing all the dirty things then the world is going to be perfect.

    • @Ommarrie

Anna K Anna K Honestly, what you said sounds like a one sided statement. I seen women control men through manipulation. Many women receive the man that God sends them but they feel like “he’s to boring” because, they’re use to the “bad boy.” I experienced it in the past and also seen it myself. When I was living in the world, I was whoring around and disrespecting women. Sad thing about it is that women loved being around me when I was in the state of living in sin. Now that Jesus Christ set me free from my bondage of living in sin, I started to look at woman differently. I started to show them respect and also shared the gospel with the females I was around. A lot of women cut me off since I started to follow Christ. I told this one girl I use to mess around with about Jesus Christ and she told me that she missed the old me. The old me use to call her all types of names but now that I show her respect and looked at her like a young lady, she called me “boring.” I experienced all of these things. Women will have a nice guy and they’ll push them away for a man that treats them poorly and don’t value them as a woman. This can go both ways meaning, both genders but it’s mainly women in today’s society. Furthermore, do I believe Men should control women? Nope. Do I believe Women should control men? Nope. Did God set order and structure of how a family should be? Yes. Men are created to be leaders and the women is there to support the husband. The Bible says in Ephesians 5:25 - “Husbands love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;”
Also, “porn” is a gateway to demonic influence and leads to other sin such as , “adultery”, “masturbation(self-pleasure) etc. Sin itself leads to more sin. Nevertheless, this world will never be perfect because, its corrupted with sin and satan and his angels orchestrates the society we live in. This world will pass away when Christ returns. The Holy Spirit gives us power over sin and we leave our faith in Jesus Christ to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

    • @Ommarrie

Dee Cee Dee Cee I agree completely that a woman who loves Jesus Christ wouldn’t be like the women I described. But the only reason I spoke about women from my past because I was making a point to the comment above. The comment the lady made was one sided and we all know when you’re in the world it goes both ways for men and women aside.

I've been hurt but I honestly don't take out what I may have gone through with one man out on the new man, I give him his own rope and if he hangs himself then I move on. Everyone who enters my life get a rope if they hang themself with that rope that's when I walk away. I have never taken anything I've been through with someone else out on the next person who enters my life. I TREAT everyone equally and just until they start to show me their true colors or their genuine self.

It is true that most men are initially attracted to physical appearance. There is nothing wrong with that; what is more important for men to realize (I'm a dude myself.) is that physical attraction is just one piece of the pie. I want to fall in love with a woman's heart, soul, and mind way more than her physical appearance. Is that easy for me? Absolutely not! I pray all that the time that the Lord would send me a wife; not just a girlfriend.

Love the video. It's very important to choose a spouse who submit themselves to the word of YAH (GOD) and not just speak it. I encounter people who are seasoned in the word and use it as a means of correcting their spouses in a dispute, but neglect to apply it to themselves when indulging in their own sinful nature. Using it as a means of manipulation to control the relationship. Especially when their spouse aren't as knowledgeable in the word as they are. YAH must truly be at the forefront of the relationship to establish an enduring love. If your relationship is based soely off materialism, looks etc. and not YAH it won't endure. It will morph from a blessing to a lesson. The 2 shall become 1. Remember that when interacting with your spouse. Treat them the way you want to be treated at all times; with love and respect.

Ugh I used to be the bad versions of all of these. Lol tested that out with my first relationship that needed to end regardless. I’m Glad I got to see my flaws. Now
I just have this issue of feeling pressured to wear make up. Not even because I think I’m not beautiful externally but this world can make us think that women are suppose to have make up and know how
To do make up. Just goes to show that the focus is so much on external.
I want to perfect my words though. I can speak well to others but to myself I can struggle. I can encourage someone else but have a hard time with myself when things get really bad in life.
I love how you said when we live in sin our best gifts turn into our worst curses. So true and sort of encouraging because it shows that that part of your worst self could actually be something of great value if you just look to God for change.
Yes us women we can cut down when we use words in a bad way. It’s so destructive. I’ve been that girl., but I’m only 19. So I’m just trying to learn everything from Jesus so I can and apply it whether it’s marriage, purpose, or just myself. I’ve always been about becoming a bette time. I used to look to astrology but I found Jesus and that’s changed it for me and I’m so glad!

I love all of these tips but #2 is my favorite. It is so important for both men and women to hear. I am so eager to meet the man I can fully trust and submit to, however I feel like a lot of the guys I’ve come across aren’t understanding/willing to do that. I haven’t dated much, though, and I haven’t lost hope that there are many men out there who are strong and will lead!

I am SO tired of being single 😒 I left my longest relationship when I found Christ, but... sometimes I regret it honestly. I wonder if I'll ever find love! There was a guy at church that I think is just AWESOME, but I dropped a couple hints that I was interested and it was very clear that he is not. Also, he is very focussed on growing in ministry and leadership (which I find super attractive), so I know he doesn't need distractions. *sigh*
I'm struggling with loneliness and feeling inadequate. I worry Christian men won't want me because of my past. I worry that maybe I'm not doing enough. Honestly, sometimes I struggle to keep my thoughts pure. I made dating profiles on sites that are obviously not attracting the Christian man I'd like to meet, and my church is so big, I don't see how I could realistically meet anyone... Currently feeling really pissed at God. 👏I👏AM👏NOT👏CALLED👏TO👏SINGLENESS!!!!!! Sooooooo... Where is he??!!! Omg

Listen to his voice and obey. We all get dirty and unclean thoughts be evil spirits. Rebuke them and realise thst some are from your body others temptations from evil spirits. She did express her quaralsome tendencies. May have been the drugs, she became anxious I couldn't understand at the time.

I loosen to know and act upon being marriage material, binding all in my life that is not suited for building up the marriage to hell, while I loosen myself of every unequal yoke and common share with those not being marriage material, in accordance with 1 peter 3:3-5, proverbs 31:10, ephesians 5:22-24, genesis 1:27, proverbs 21:9, proverbs 31:12, 1 timothy 5:11-13, 2 corinthians 6:14-15 and this whole word, in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah!

What do I do if my girlfriend is mentally ill, doesn’t trust me very much, is quarrelsome and argues over nothing, is threatened by my abilities and strengths and believes she’s not enough if she doesn’t win, and struggles to believe that she’s beautiful inside.
She’s up and down and in the ups she’s wonderful, sweet, funny, we have a ton in common, our life goals almost always line up, and she makes me feel understood and at ease. In the ups when it’s just her being herself I feel so sure she’s the woman for me. But then she’ll get really upset over something small that she’s reading into, and suddenly thinks I don’t love her anymore and want to leave or I’m mad at her even if I haven’t said anything. Maybe I’m just not good at being a boyfriend?? I don’t wanna lose someone I consider such a close and personal friend because of trauma she carries that was never her fault, but I’m overwhelmed!

What’s troublesome is when my father and brother spend their time making fun of others then I to in turn do the same because I don’t want to walk on egg shells. I’m finding myself doing this in friendships and relationships. I don’t want to shut out my father and brother but they are really toxic it’s frustrating

I found your talk encouraging and informative. Because I find that normally teaching about singleness tends to only challenge men in a belittling way. It seems to be an unspoken teaching in church that women are permitted by Jesus Christ to hate men and/or their husband. I don't find that in the bible. The fact that you basically stated that a Christian woman is actually accountable by God is not only courageous, but... nearly unheard of. There is no support in the bible for a man or a woman to hate and abuse their spouse. It's very difficult for me not to become angry at the unspoken compromise. Because men stop being men.
Incidentally, as a love note for potential haters especially, I am not married. I saw your video for the men and I would say that I am deficient as a potential husband--- sorry to say, but it's true. Having said that I still can't find biblical support to belittle and hate or emasculate a man in the faith if you are a woman. I'm still waiting for someone to show me scripture to support such abuse.

Can you please make a video directed at accepting people with disabilities and medical conditions as possible 'marriage material'. A pastor spoke it into my life that I would get married, but my husband has to be a very special type, because not only is only 1% of New Zealand's population Christians, I also need a man who is prepared to accept my disability and medical condition. I would have to have staff come into the house to help me with some things to give my husband a break. Unless God decides to heal me this side of eternity, these are permanent things.

As a woman, I do struggle with the idea of submitting to a husband, but this is partly because men have so often abused and stifled women and failed to love them as Christ loves the church. And I’m sorry to say that a lot of Christian men just have really problematic and narrow-minded views when it comes to this area and it’s very difficult to trust them to be a good spouse. (And I’m not a huge fan of gender essentialism in general, I think our traits tend to be more from how we’re socialized than genetic predisposition.)

This video was really good to listen to as a young lady soon going to be courting. But I wanted a little advise on somethings. first of all the guy I want to court has some odd views on a mans role in the home, placed there by his dad ( clearly demonstrated in their home) but to them the woman has not a lot of choice the man tells her what she can wear, what her hair has to look like, activities she can do for instance in my family we ride motor bilks but in his they are terrified of motorbikes so if we end up getting married he probably won't allowing me to ride. Not to say this guy has so many other amazing qualities there is a reason I want to pursue a relationship I just don't know how to approach these "problems" though. Some people tell me to not let him tell me what to do and to leave him if he wants to be like that. But I could never imagine him with someone else or myself with someone else or him not being in my life. Anyone have advise or bible verses?

I find I get angry easily because I'm more sensitive about how sin affects the world and how it has affected my life. I wish people were more Loving, Truthful, and Holy but unfortunately this isn't heaven and it only shows how much I and people really need God.
