I have been watching this channel since I decided that I was ready to let go of my previous relationship. I really want to grow my RUclips channel and get redirected in 2019! This is my Dream!
Thank you for this video, I just got off a two-year on-and-off-again long distance relationship and it took a very big toll on me while we were breaking up. I want to be in a committed relationship and I feel even though it was a long amount of time that we were together being long-distance was very hard not having any type of actual contact so I hope to meet someone. I give my singleness to God and I am thankful for this video because it gave me the answers that I needed. I have been feeling really guilty about moving on but if he's not willing to make an effort to be with me and commit with me then there's really not much I can do but move on so thank you again for this video I look forward to enrolling at the end of this month for the University👌🙏 God bless you and your wife thank you again😊
Have recently come across your videos. I have been single for years and have been praying for my husband. I know God has his hand over this but I’m so tired of waiting. I try to stay busy doing different things and working on making myself approachable.
this video has helped me so much, i have never related to a video more than this one. step 2 has been affecting me so much and i can’t tell you the reaction i had to the realization that i was letting that control my decisions.
Just came across your videos. I appreciate the insight that you bring to the world of Christian singleness. Looking forward to reviewing more of your content!
Heyyy :) I'm a little confused at the moment with this kind of thing. Been saved for a year, broke up from an abusive toxic relationship which resulted in an abortion whilst living in sexual immorality. Got saved in November praise God! So it's been a year since being saved by the grace of God and a year and 4 months since I broke up from my ex. I am desiring a godly man to be my husband and for me to grow as a woman in Christ to serve God in a godly marriage. Now " dating " to me in my understanding has always been " seeing someone " - what does this mean in the Christian life?
Jem - Hey! So dating in the context for Christians should be about honoring the Lord in yalls relationship which means trying to stay away for sexual sin and etc so to have a healthy one boundaries are very important it’s way different compared to relationships centered on self and what I can get out of it hope this helps! :)
@@ezekieldaniel9860 Heyyy! :) Thank you ever so much for your reply! God bless you! I'm a little worried on how I'd start dating without it looking like a wordy dating relationship :/ should two Christians tell each other that the main goal is marriage and that they should spend time focusing on studying the Word together, praying together, getting to know each other in public places such as restaurants/cafes/fun things to do rather than meet in a confined space alone? And confessing our past lives as blind sinners to each other so that the other person knows everything from the past rather than it coming up unexpectedly to then unintentionally hurt the other if marriage was to be decided? Sorry for the million questions, want to make sure I stay in biblical teaching with this :) Thank you and God bless you!😊😊🙏🙏🙏🙏🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻
Jem - Yes! Your definitely on point most mature believers know that dating is like a interview for marriage but yes something I’ve learned was “public place private conversation” so there is no need to be alone to have private convos also having accountability with friends helps a lot so y’all both are honoring the lord
This was an excellent video! And you're right as Christians, there's no point in just aimlessly dating just to date... I believe that only leads to bad decisions and fornication if you're not doing it for the right reasons. But like you said if it's time and God has put it on your heart we should only date because it's time for marriage not just because we don't want to be alone. I have finally laid down my baggage, I live alone, and I choose not to date. I need to spend this time growing closer to God that way I will be in God's will should the time come for me to pursue a relationship and not just 'need' a relationship because I am lonely.
The girl I dated for 7 years and we have a 2 year old daughter together , left me recently said she didn’t feel a connection with me doesn’t want a family with me an she said she likes women now doesn’t even like a mans touch anymore. I found out she was goin on out of town trips with her girlfriends while we were living together , I’m just so confused, on how somebody can just cut there feelings off an disconnect from everything they had for a “new experience” that isn’t even holy or good for them at all, smh now I have a little girl I’m a single young man, an I don’t want my daughter growing up being confused on her sexuality because of the wrong decisions her mother is making in front of her at this young age, I’ve been with this girl for so long it’s gone take me while to even get back in the dating scene I’m worried about if I’m gonna get put on child support for no reason, will I ever find love again ? I don’t wanna be cold hearted an be a womanizer cause I’m hurt but I don’t wanna be lonely forever an I want my daughter to have a real family
I'm gonna say my heart will not be ready anytime soon, or if it will ever be? I have never felt this way about someone before so I feel it is very special and I have hope still. I would marry her in a heartbeat because I truly feel that everything is going to be ok💛🙌
So what about mixed feelings ? I enjoy being single, yetsometimes I miss companionship when it comes to activities yet I still do them alone ? I’m in between but happiest single ? May be a good topic ?
I would say be open to either if you are in the middle. If God brings someone into your life that you are interested in, have an open mind. However, if you are happy single that is good too. I will see if I can do a video on this sometime :)
I am ready to pursue a Christian marriage, have been for many years, and I have also not dated for about 15 years....but that's not due to my decision, it's the decision of all women to have zero interest in anything to do with me.
what about divorce? was interested in a lady whose marriage is heading to divorce it seems (a biblically based divorce for clarity). Once it is finalized and all, I don't want to seem too eager to ask her out or something because it was a long relationship with children involved and she would need time to heal from that. Surely the time frame for such a thing would be a while more than a dating relationship, right?
Yes, the more serious the relationship that ended the more time will be needed for healing: Here' s some more info on divorce and remarriage: applygodsword.com/what-does-the-bible-say-about-divorce-and-remarriage/

Davide, when am I moving because I'm ready.

Do you take the initiative to ask them out?
How about the break up who I meet online only end in 1yr 7 months and I never meet her personally lol , how long to wait
