Hey Rick. Were you able to get it fixed? My father got me one for my birthday when I was 17. A couple of years later, mine also stopped working. I used to power it directly from the computer usb. I have kept this yoke for more than 10 years now in a non working condition but never been able to fix it. This finally gives me some direction but would like to know if you were able to get it working.

so far no luck getting it going replacing the USB IC
Look for projects with Arduino, unfortunately I can't make it work either, I believe you have to rewrite some software
You don't seem to know much about electronics..thetes obviously a protection diode for over voltage or reversed polarity..🙄
i don't know much about electronics, come from a pc building/phone repair background and trying to improve my knowledge :)
