Nice vid. Those are the 2009 1947s which are slimmed down version ones of the OG 1947 sugarcanes, since skinny jeans were popular around that 2006-2015 period. They had an even skinnier 2014 model and think they have a new 2021 model which is more on the slimmer side too.
I have both a pair of Levi 1947 and sugar cane 1947 (and a pair of 2009 1947s like yours) and the sugar cane 1947s are surprisingly wider too lol. Apparently the sugar cane 1947 are a more accurate replica of the original 1947 Levi's from that time than the actual Levi reissue 😂

Great video man! If anyone is interested in nice fading repro’s of the 66 style, have a look at the resolute 710. They come in a one wash fabric and fade amazingly accurate to vtg Levi’s from that aera

Sugarcane Dungarees 501 pants are made with the original 1947 Machines Sugarcane bought the original manufacturing equipment to make them so authentic

How'd you size the sugarcanes?

I believe the sugarcane 1947 model is 100% cotton. I think the sugarcane Okinawa's and Hawaii Jeans are the ones made out of 50-50 Sugarcane fibers and cotton

The sugsrcane repro 1947 are wider and more accurate to the original design over the 2009 Models you have the 2009 version of the 1947 model you have are a skinnier version and more modern version of the sugsrcane 1947 . 501 dungarees

There not easy to find the sugarcane are super hard to find for repros now and the ones you do find there well over 250 bucks for a single pair

I think LVCs are not really very good reproductions in terms of fit. Most of them seem to be quite low rise like levis other new jeans

Yep LVC sucks compared to the japanese repro brands like SugarCane, Warehouse, Conners Sewing Factory, TCB etc.
