I bought this pair a while back and I definitely appreciate it every time I've got the chance to wear them.
I honestly do not know any of the details of this Sugar Cane Selvedge but all I know is that it is vintage and remains to be one of the best-made jeans I own.
- Made in Japan
- Regular Straight
- Medium rise
- 14.5 oz I think Rope Dyed Indigo, LWI Japanese selvedge denim
- Button fly and brass rivets
- Belt loops are sewn into the waistband
Grabbed me a pair after watching your videos- best fitting pair of jeans... I mean dungarees, I've ever had- thanks for the advice and keep up the good work
Thank you very much, these are one of my favorites for sure!
Two months into my first pair of Sugar Cane’s. I got a pair of the Self Edge collabs they did. It’s a 16.5oz Okinawa denim and they are incredible. Can’t wait to see them progress. Amazing video!
Congratulations on your first pair of SC. I love their products. I have a button up short sleeve shirt and one of my favorite pair. I no longer wear it that much so I don’t destroy the fabric. Thanks for watching!
Thank you for sharing this video. Loved going on a ride with you❤️
Thanks Angela!
Great review Brother! Always enjoy your content and look forward to seeing more.
Thank you Steven!
Excellent review. I remember my grandmother referring to my jeans as dungarees! Great memory.
Thanks!
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Yes sir it is! 😍
I bought a pair of sugar canes on eBay from 2007, and they are still my favorite jean.
The material on this one is different from my other ones! I definitely feel comfortable in them during the heat of summer. Congratulations on your SC! It must have some mean fading by now.
I’ve been dreaming of Oahu today all day. Been there once in 2018.. beautiful place paradise! Lucky u get to live there sir I must admit I got it down style and livin in paradise
*u got it down
Thanks Adrian. I was away for 10 years overseas and finally home for good. I definitely enjoy the islands. I’m sure you’ll be able to come back soon enough!
@@StylishGreaseMonkey paradise to call home that’s amazing! I will definitely come back again..
Can it be model 1947, sounds a lot like it! :) "The 1947 fit made by Sugar Cane is perhaps one of the most accurate reproductions of a pair of Levi's 501 as they looked in the middle of the 20th century." They also have model 1966, made to look like the 501 from the 60's but that model have tapered legs and is 14 oz! Pardon my english, not my first language but I hope you understand!
Greetings from Sweden!
Could be, looks just like it! I’m actually thinking of a new SG to add to my collection. Soon enough.
No problem on your communications at all and thanks for your support. Aloha!
The Best
How much r these jeans? I gotta try them on to see how they fit . I’ve bought so much stuff online that I had to return gets annoying
One of my viewers identified this as the SC41945N. Prices vary. It’s raw so make sure you discuss your options with the sellers so you end up with the correct size. Sorry about your online buying and returning experience.
@@StylishGreaseMonkey thanks 👌
They look like the Lee 101. They're the SC41945N (1945).
I know right! Very close but some of the stitching on mine towards the right back pocket is missing. It could definitely be that style!
@@StylishGreaseMonkey the blue for Lee,red for Levis, green for wrangler, that,s what they say
what size did you get?
Sorry for the late reply, 32 waist but of course that was like forever ago and thank goodness it stretched out!
