The pinnacle of mainstream pop music manifests itself as a luminous vertex where the sublime and the accessible converge. A bassline that is more than a sequence of notes: it is a delicate labyrinth of rhythm and melody, beautiful in its form, inexhaustible in its dynamism. Within it, the groove reaches an exquisite splendor, and each "feel" it emanates is a moment of fulfillment. Here, the slapping -ferocious in its execution, almost savage- rises as a declaration of virtuosity. Jonah’s voice, powerful and admirable, stands as an archetypal echo, so perfect and firm it seems carved in sonic marble. And what can be said of Steve Vai? To me, he is a demigod of the guitar, a craftsman whose music I have explored to the point of exhaustion, like one who loses themselves with delight in an infinite book. I love his style, his phrasing, that unmistakable sound that carries in each note the weight of the eternal. Listening to his solos is not merely a pleasure; it is a return. Listen to Dirty Loops albums then. Jonah lead singer and it very similar music to this imo.
Jonah will release a new solo album the 5th of Aug
I don’t mean to detract from Jonah’s performance at all but Tobias’ bass playing totally steals the show here. What an amazing track.
Simply incredible, Jonah has a chance to truly shine in this and show off his endless ability. I’m flawed.
Honestly I thought I had been over Vai for years then he does this solo! Man not expected at all from him at this point and shows how musically he’s a genius can deliver something completely unexpected.
I imagine Quincy must really admire this dude's talent to have him lean into the MJ influence this much. Absolutely adore the song! Vocals are infectious!! The little spicy modulations here and there are seriously cool too!
Wonderful so much talent together and not colliding in chaos ..... beautifully executed, beautifully produced .....
Omg steve is a absolute god!! I have goosebumps throughout his entire solo.
Same here!! Vai is out of this world!!
Vai’s solo is excellent , has it all , melodic, heavy , trippy , does blow away the competition , have not heard any other virtuoso create such composition within a pop song to boot ! Most players are great at the gymnastics , but lack melody , quite impressed with Vai !
The Professor taking a break from streetball to lay down some sick basslines.
Watch out Professor, Steve Vai's been doing the old "dominant hand in a sling" training..
Tobias Grenholm is no joke! He destroyed this track and hats off to Kefa Figaro and Jesper the Creator (drummer and guitarist) for just grooving and staying out of Tobias' way!
I saw Jordan Rudess yesterday, and now Steve Vai. OMG, Jonah, how in the world you got such an amazing idea? Very nice track and Vai's solo makes it even cooler! ❤️❤️❤️
Jesus man… I’m not listening to anything but this song for a while. Soooo gooood!
Just came across this!! Why hasn't this got 1 MILL likes yet??? :) This IS music.
I support you from Japan!!
You're my dream
This is so INSANELY good. Love it when RUclips's recommendations absolutely nails it.
Awesome... Let's give some props to the awesome band!! Bass player is killing it 🎸🎸🎸
Tobias is a gem. It’s about time he get some recognition
@@jesperthecreator6512 True! And you're absolutely awesome as well!! 💪 Hope to hear more from this band
I’m glad you like it, thank you!
@@tgr0411 💪💪 You're welcome! Rock on
And just when you think Dr. Vai has explored all posibilities on the guitar he does something else!!!!! The Master of Masters
Maaaan. Steve Vai and the bassist. 🔥🔥🔥
Outstanding. Every single one of them. Really awesome they put Steve in there too. Such a fun song.
2:10 this gives me Ultimate Dirty Loops Vibes🔥 awesome collab
I watched this music video until the end while expecting what’s gonna happen until Mr Vai appears. And, finally, The Virtuoso blows my mind! He delivered very precious musical taste through his guitar. The music itself is also very good to me…
This singer knows how to find great bass players! Any tips? :)
Not bad at all. That bassist is killing it!
