While the Parade ready certainly looks better, you’re right about them being pretty similar at a distance. I think I’d be tempted to use just a few of the improvements and leave most of it as per the battle ready standard. Great to see them both side by side.
Yep, it is my absolute favorite from the xpress color range too. Even if someone only uses Citadel Contrast they should get at least this one express color 😂

Black Lotus is amazing. I used it for my black metal Necrons. It’s the only Xpress color i own along with the medium.
