I would paint them exactly the same - maybe I will do different colours in the future

Very cool paint job, though my only complant is it the gold armor. Would really love to see some of the other sub factions in the stormcast painted up.

Hi Coach! First off your the man! thanks so much for all your guides. Theyve helped me a bunch. Especially with my Raven Guard. These days im eyeing Ionus Cryptborn and his deathly Stormdrake Guard. You wouldnt happen to have any videos cooking for those eh? Also this models looking good. I love his banner. Downloading Realms now and am excited to learn his story.

Thanks! Glad you love the content! I don't have any videos planned for bim, but check out my video on Karazai the Scarred for red scales and check out any of the numerous black space marine armour I have done for Ionus 👍🏻

Do you have plans to try converting any of the other paintschemes from the game? I've been playing around with the scheme editor for Nighthaunt (I've been partial to schemes using Imperial Fist as the OSL colour, with either Naggaroth Night or Corax White for the robes), but to turn that into tabletop paint jobs seems to require a lot of blending and/or glazing, and a lot of OSL.
Also, on another subject, any plans to do anything with Belthanos?

I don't at the moment unfortunately, but never say never especially as I have plenty of stormcast :)
No plans on Belthanos either unfortunately as I didn't pick him up

I dont really like the gold. I prefer a darker one, any tips?

      Base it with balthasar gold

Does the Realms of Ruin play like a League of legends type game?

    • @ThePaintingCoach
      @ThePaintingCoach  Год назад

I'm afraid I haven't played league of legends so can't say. It is similar in some ways to Dawn of War 2

    Endless respect for your work!
I was unable to buy Dominion Boxing due to the financial crisis at the time.
And I can't buy Realms of Ruin due to political restrictions now.
But glad to see that someone can enjoy all this!

Normally, I ignore them, based on the unpalatable background and how AOS pretty much doesn't nit my sweater, but damn are these minis tasty looking. Is this the Dawn of War for AOS?
I will be picking up a couple of them, just because of your vid alone. That's a great job on that golden sheen that guys got. The crisp line work does these guys justice.
How do you keep a tip that sharp?

Cheers - more DoW2 than the original I think
For the brush, twist it against the palette as you pull it out of the paint - that will give you the good tip
