Richard Balboa so are the majority of superheroes, some examples Batman: traumatized millionaire who dresses up in tights and beats the snot out of thugs. Moon knight : suffers from split personality disorder and kills for a Egyptian god. Punisher: don't really need to explain

Two things with Rogue being touched...she might kill you and second she have to deal with your memories, and have to do some mental battle when it's too much
***** Yeah well there's several actually serious X-moments where he's not. Like him not even laying a hit on Spider-man until Spidey let his guard down. Or Cyclops easily maneuvering around him and him never once being able to dodge Scott's eye beams. Let's face it. Only reason Logan ever does stuff he can't (like heal after all his flesh came off or defeat Lobo) was because of popularity. And Old Man Logan isn't officially canon. And Cyclops didn't kill all the X-men because he's chose not too. They're his friends. He may sometimes do morally gray things but that's something he'll never do on purpose. Even though if he really wanted to, he could nuke all of them.
***** Actually. For some odd reason, Scott's beams actually have stopped him. Not permanently but they are effective. Plus Scott never goes all out on him. Also, if we're going non-canon (since Scott has outsmarted and outfought Logan in actual canon), how about when Scott melt's Logan's skin off and leaves him a hot mess. Yeah, if Logan was so tough, how come he didn't get back up and kill Scott? I mean he had no problem sneak attacking Scott and leaving him to die earlier. How come when he actually was picking a fight with his rival, he didn't get back up to finish the job? He healed eventually, but he lost that fight. Let's also not forget that Hulk and Deadpool have beaten Logan just as many times as he's beaten them. And the way he beat them normally wouldn't have stopped them. Banner has been shot in the face before and that didn't stop the Hulk. So how come stabbing Hulk in the head would put Banner to sleep? As for Wade... idk, his power is popularity as well, but remember when he killed the whole Marvel Universe? That wasn't canon but hey, you just said canon doesn't matter. No doubt that Logan is tough. I don't hate him. I'm not even saying it's impossible for him to beat Scott. But it's not like Scott can't beat him, either. Scott has beaten him (in canon) more than Logan has returned the favor? How? Scott just fights smarter. It also helps that if Scott ever got cornered, he could unleash hell on his opponent. It might not kill Logan (it certainly would kill an unpopular Logan) but it'll stop him and that's all Scott aims for really. He's not trigger happy like Logan. He will kill if he has to, but he's not like Logan who sees murder as the best solution to everything.
***** Sorry. Logan's code is just flimsy sometimes. He chews on Scott for training kids, but he has trained just as many kids, particularly little girls. He talks about loyalty and stuff but he kept trying to steal Scott's wife. Chews on Scott for once making the team retreat, then in Schism, he is so insistent the team retreat that he tries to blow up their island. He says he'd rather bring criminals to justice but then whenever he's along side Cap, Spidey, and Scott (back when they were friends), he seems to be super trigger happy. Just look at AvX... he was gonna kill Hope Summers. She's a kid. A little girl, even. Hell, a little girl that is similar to the woman he apparently loved. And yet, he was gonna kill her rather than just detain her like Cap wanted or defend her like Scott wanted. See, my problem with Logan isn't exactly the character himself, but how over the years he's been reduced to a self-righteous flip-flopper. He used to be the badass anti-hero, working his way towards redemption. However, I guess he became so popular that now he'll always take the moral high ground no matter who he's talking to. It makes him come off as hypocritical and I don't like it. I hope Marvel fixes this, because he really is an interesting character. Death of Wolverine is one of the best arcs ever because it brought Logan back to what I loved so much about him... even if he ended up dying.
if there ever is a new xmen cartoon I hope its allowed to be more mature this one had to jump hoops to be as good as it was the creators really had to fight to make it what it was and not just something geared to 10 year olds to sell toys.
I remember this scene well. Hell I think I just watched this episode again in the past few weeks. Even as a kid I never understood how anyone in the world would sympathize with Wolverine on this. lol
I don't really empathize with him, but I am in a similar situation myself. I know that I am morally wrong here. You have principles and boundaries but sometimes someone comes along and just blows it all up. Then you find yourself in the wrong, just unable and not even willing to do the right thing, IF this person is just that special and you feel like you are the better man. Maybe this whole situation will teach me something, I don't know. But yeah I can totally relate to Logan without any empathy.
Cyclops would destroy Wolverine. 1. He's a martial artist as well so he can fight 2. He's a tactician so he's not going to put himself in a vulnerable position 3. His power has the strength to rip through mountains. Aim it at wolverine's head and it's over. Also if Cyclops focusses he's blast he can cut through anything even adamantium ( it's canon) so no wolverine's skeleton isn't going to help him Cyclops was right! Emma over jean
Half of Wolverine's relationships involved someone cheating, and the other half didn't involve consent. By some strange miracle he never perved on Jubilee though. But then he hooked up with Nightcrawler, while he was too drunk to consent....

In closed quarters Wolverine would win easily, but outdoors Cyclops would obliterate Wolverine.
This scene stuck with me since I was a kid, and still one of the bits of the og x-men that I remember the most.
Never realized how diverse this cartoon was
Cyclops abandon Madeline Pryor the moment he finds out she’s not really Jean Gray for chrissakes dude he abandoned the first family has
The name is Gambit, remember it. Who’s here after watching episode 5 of the X-men 97?
Marvel had a funny way of rocking the cradle. When they first met Jean was 17 No one knows how old Logan is but if he's up with Professor X then he should've been in his 40s.
Wolverine is 200+ years old my friend
The reverend with the evil sharpie eyebrows
I can't believe I liked wolverine as a kid. That guy is a psychotic nutcase.
Richard Balboa so are the majority of superheroes, some examples
Batman: traumatized millionaire who dresses up in tights and beats the snot out of thugs.
Moon knight : suffers from split personality disorder and kills for a Egyptian god.
Punisher: don't really need to explain
Richard Balboa
They liked Wolverine in video games brcause he is fast and effective. Comic fans are split between the group who found Wolverine as either badass loner or overly edgy.
so you grew up to be a damn beta soy boy congrats
@Shree Raaman Technically Deadpool is just Batshit Crazy. He Said so Himself in the Video Game. LOL!!!
You do know he suffers from PTSD
Two things with Rogue being touched...she might kill you and second she have to deal with your memories, and have to do some mental battle when it's too much
Man that suaveness of Gambit and the no nonsense Rouge "Zipthoselips" XD
Logan is NOT that fast. And Cyclops is NOT useless in combat skills. He was able to beat all the Xmen with just maneuvering alone.
***** Yeah? Well Cyclops has beaten all the X-men at once TWICE! Wolverine included.
***** Yeah, I said that.
As a wolverine fanboy , yes wolverine is wrong period
You don't have to worry. Scott lets Logan bang Jean while he watches now a days. Plus logan sucks on his wee wee.
It is all very progressive now.
I forget how much I loved this show as a kid.
Young Monkey: "That's kinda messed up, Logan."
Old Monkey: "Yep, I've totally been to that place too."
if there ever is a new xmen cartoon I hope its allowed to be more mature this one had to jump hoops to be as good as it was the creators really had to fight to make it what it was and not just something geared to 10 year olds to sell toys.
This series is getting continued with all the living voice actors (except Jubilee) coming back and the original writers returning as consultants.
@@solblackguy that can't be true because cyclops's voice actor is dead
@@PrincessLockette that's why I said living.
2:35, that's murf from the beginning of this series, turned evil sacrifice himself for wolverine, and they were really close
*That's Morph
The real Cyclops would have mopped the floor with Wolverine. You bet your ass he was taking it out on a robot.
Jean had no issues with gambit kissing her
Gambit up here trying to kiss everybody :-)
Eye punches from the eye punch dimension
It’s funny Logan has a Danger room program where he just straight up can fight Scott whenever he feels like letting loose lol
I hope wolvie returns in comics, he's been dead too long
Don't worry Cyclops fans, in the comics Scott upgrades to that complete dime-piece Emma Frost.
Yo 0:31 is HILARIOUS!!! Wolverine is like NOPE! 😠😂
my boy Gambit with the smooth moves xD
You can't have her !!!!!😡😡😡
(cyclops yells and optic blasts on wolverine)
Cyclops would destroy Wolverine.
1. He's a martial artist as well so he can fight
2. He's a tactician so he's not going to put himself in a vulnerable position
3. His power has the strength to rip through mountains. Aim it at wolverine's head and it's over. Also if Cyclops focusses he's blast he can cut through anything even adamantium ( it's canon) so no wolverine's skeleton isn't going to help him
Cyclops was right! Emma over jean
Sorry, but I don't think any of the things you mentioned are true in this show.
@@user-rl4jn2je1l Well the shows and movies were basically Wolverine and his side characters so I'm not surprised
I. Love. This. Series.
Off course the only time wolverine can actually stab is a robot cyclops.. lol got my hopes up 😢
Fucking love this scene, it is so awesome to watch after seeing someone you fancy date someone else.
Man, that war room realy was out of this world. Like magic.
everyone: luv triangle.
me: gambit looks so weird without that headpiece thing he wears.
Cyclops was right!
Cyclops is the best leader in comics
Well that's one way to blow off some steam.
0:10 Wolverine has his claws out.
2 seconds later he lands and whips his claws out.
😵💫????
Interesting you had telepaths and nobody realized it was morph one of the best most underrated xmen
Morph has some kind of device in is head that could've been blocking their powers
telepaths don't go around scanning every single person they meet
( clicks on video )
Ohh they are fighting again, they fight literally every 10 minutes
( sees wedding)
Ohh kick his ass cyclops
Masterpiece ever. Greatness
Can't wait for Cal Dodd to get a crack at voicing Wolverine again.
It is so lovely wedding Jean and scott😍😍
well that's one way to relive stress..but still..uh..wolvie..she's kinda..getting ah forget it..wolverine and cyclops hardly get along
Robert Garcia ah the love triangle
Wolverine: cyclops! (Echoing)
(Wolverine grunting and raise his claws at cyclops) you're mine!
Morph needs a skycap to help him with those bags.
People seem to also forget that Scott and Jean were together when Logan met her lol. He was going after taken woman ha ha
Half of Wolverine's relationships involved someone cheating, and the other half didn't involve consent. By some strange miracle he never perved on Jubilee though. But then he hooked up with Nightcrawler, while he was too drunk to consent....
Cyclops forever!
I find it interesting that the line the priest gave was the same one Quentin Tarantino used in death proof for the lap dance.
Can we stop and take a moment for how petty Morph is in this for posing as the priest.
They may not be considered married by the church now if that came to light.
0:42 Lag!
(wolverine growling)
in this show wolverine is weak as fuck compared to how he is in the movies
In the movies he is the star so they make him look stronger.
This cartoon is inaccurate, Wolverine is very strong, he's the Weapon X
Uh no..wolverine in the movies is weak...he didn't have martial arts in his background and he can't land two hits to mystique and sabertooth in the first x men
joeofmacabre07 in the comics Wolverine until recently has never been able to take on sabretooth who has a tradition to find Logan on his birthday and almost killing him just to add how him he can
Maybe it has something to do with those fanboys and writers making him more OP than he actually is to appease them.
Wolverine couldn't be at the wedding because he would have smelled Morph
Gambit just being Gambit haha
This series was better than all of the X-men movies
