my honest thoughts on all your rankings: honestly, ur so real for einmal eis bitte. it’s decent but like… it feels like a watered down version of unser berlin? it’s not like I despise it or anything, so I’ll give the song a solid “atleast you tried…” 2/10. it feels like they tried too hard for wann hast du geburtstag. it’s a bit too energetic + feels too short. I wish rita had a verse on the song. but I like the little “august? september? october? november?” bit 4.6/10 unser berlin is an absolute BOP. I’d literally shake some ass to it if it wasn’t the final song of the show. im vibing and shit but suddenly I tear up because im like “…that was it?” 6/10 OOH the way rita devoured on wer wohnt wo. the vocals… the dancing…. but rolli kinda chewed too. the song even had a pre chorus, which im pretty sure is kinda rare in this show. 6.8/10 wie heißt du is one of my SOONGS. rita’s vocals, rolli’s dancing (he was POPPING his shit) but they’re horrible guessers at age if they think that the viewer could be anywhere from 4-13. 7/10. yall am wochenende is ANOTHER ONE OF MY SONGS. everything is perfection. they both get verses and their own separate spotlights, and rolli just casually eats tf up at the end. 8/10. was ist dein lieblingsfach is so catchy. "Wann hast du Geburtstag" deserves way better. The songs of Rolli and Rita have different vibes, like the relaxing pace of "Das ist meine Familie" or the slow groove of "ist eine post hier", but considering this I have to say "Wann hast du Geburtstag" is a absolute Peaktime Banger. They jump right into the action and start with the refrain, transitioning the piece with well-placed claps into a smooth acidy beat that is just refreshing and supreme! To me, it outperforms their cult-classic by quite a bit because its just so subtle and well-composed. Its really hard to rank those songs because they each sound pretty unique, but compared to "Wann hast du Geburtstag" some of the tunes you rated higher are just aimlessly meandering without clear direction. Maybe try giving "Wann hast du Geburtstag" another shot when you are in the right mood, when you are hyped or intoxicated or such. You might discover its way better than you remember.
Wann hast du Geburtstag is a masterpiece and needs to be placed in the top 5. The melody, the bass, paired with Rolli twerking and breaking his neck at the start are all so iconic.
