Beautifully done! Let us hear the unit's running sound. I like to hear how quiet those units are!
That was a neat Daiken replacement install Mitch, and it was purring nicely when you left... That external MARAC sticker sets it off nicely 😀 👍
Thanks mate, it runs well. Cheers
Nice video! That Mitsubishi was looking tired.
Thanks mate. Yeah it was definitely time to go!
Standing it on feet on the concrete pad would’ve prevented it from rusting. Brackets can transfer noise into the house.
beautyfull Installation
Thanks mate!
Nice work legend 👍🏼
How did they convert from ductless to ducted on an existing house? Also, I'd be very interested in seeing more detail about the controller for this system.
And advised you to mount the isolator the right way up. 🤣
He didn’t advise me, he just left it like that 😂 you could have told me haha
thank you 👌👌
Thanks !
Hey man you went through the trouble of pulling the TPS down the wall so you should of sent it back up to the ceiling and then back down the duct to keep your isolator lookin fresh
Fair enough man, good tip 👌🏻
Not for every job though, specially when your short on time and just need to get it done. Did a 20kw Daikin yesterday and ran into comms error check operation fault because I didn't wait the 12min on initial startup 😶
@@44whip yeah the front discharge 18kW and 20kW are a VRV shell and only available in Australia. Everyone forgets you need to put it in a test operation when it’s late at the end of the day and want to go home 😂
Good job bradear
Thanks mate!
@@maracservices Greetings technician from Indonesia👌🇲🇨
@@mazayamazayanadira6862 greetings!
I have 4 years experience in split tupe Air conditioner, can I join you to learn more about this one?
I'm an HVAC technician here in Saudi Arabia, i want to work in Australia
Hi Mitch. Great video! What's the system you're using? The sensor that can sense temperature from different rooms
So it’s a Daikin Ducted Air Conditioner but instead of using the standard Daikin wall controller, I used a third party controller.
The third party controller is called “MyAir” and it’s made by Advantage Air.
Was the old Mitsubishi unit still working despite it being rusted to buggery?
It ran but it had a gas leak mate. The outdoor unit was very oily so I’m assuming the leak was somewhere in the outdoor unit. Cheers man
do you have a link for the cement wall anchors you use for the condenser brackets?

Good morning friend, how are you? I'm watching your videos and I'm enjoying your service I'm from Brazil, and I intend to go in 2024 next year, do an exchange there... Will I be able to enter this area as soon as I arrive? Here in Brazil I am a refrigeration technician.
Bom dia, tudo bem? My partner is Brazilian too. I actually went to brasil last year. Where about’s are you from?
In regards to your question, yes you can work straight away. We have a shortage of tradesmen in this country so it won’t be hard to find a job in my opinion. My partner suggests you look for an agency to do your visa and don’t forget that as a student, you can only work 20 hours a week unless you get paid cash off the books. Obrigado for watching my videos 👊🏻
Oops, I'm glad you already have a Brazilian friend!
Could this have helped you in the video?
I'm seeing an agency now to carry out the entire process. I would like to work in my same area as I have a little experience. I know there are some different things there, but you can learn quickly...
When you came to Brazil, which state were you in?
I'm from São Paulo Capital
@@thiagosds2194 when I say partner, I mean my girlfriend haha 😂
I went to Cotia where she is from and I also went to Rio de Janeiro. Very nice country!
sorry lol I thought he was your friend
I'm glad you liked it here lol, but it must be much better!
I've been to Rio de Janeiro too...
But thank you, I will continue following your services to get an idea of the service
Hey Mitch what is the brand of the 5 way controler box looks like a good setup ? 🤝
It’s an advantage air exact air regulator. They are used with the MyAir product mate. Cheers
@@maracservicesdo you like the advantage air gear or prefer the polyaire gear
@@darioparedes9877 I’m not affiliated with anyone but my honest opinion is that I prefer the advantage air stuff personally. That’s my go to.
Does that zone damper strict airflow?
Sorry mate I’m not to sure what you mean. It does restrict airflow, and that’s why I put it in. When the zones open, the air flows straight through with no restriction. Cheers
Hello do you recommend mitsubishi heavy zsx or daikin FTXM
I’d personally choose the Daikin mate
@@maracservicesthanks why
nothing wrong with Mitsubishi heavy's mate, been installing them for the last 8 years, only ran into outdoor PCB board failures only due to rodent damage, happens on Daikins to and all the rest of them
I need a job ac tec
